My rant is about the ******** morons at Cartoon network. Some of you may be unaware that CN is cancelling Young Justice and Green Lantern TAS.
First of all I know this hurts everyone in this chat. I have not seen Green Lantern but it seemed interesting to me. BUT TO TAKE OFF YOUNG JUSTICE, YOUNG ******** JUSTICE!!!! Its unbelievable, unthinkable, inconceivable! How can you take good show with a big supporting fan base, solid story that keeps people wanting more, characters that felt real and we could relate to and throw it away. BUT NOOOOO THE TOY MARKET IS NOT DOING WELL MIGHT AS WELL SINK THIS LIKE THE ******** TITANIC! ******** morons first of all your the ones who are trying to sell this to the wrong market. You have a dark complex show and put it on Saturday mornings. Its clearly a show best suited for young adults and comic fans people who don't wake up early to watch cartoons. And you should be focusing on DVD box sets I would kill to have a season 1 box set of YJ and I mean a proper one. Not the 4 ep's a disc for 3 disks they been selling. Hey Cartoon network or Warner brothers or who ever is in charge of this. Just because you ******** up on being on time with new ep's dose not make each time a season.
Oh and guess what they are bringing on instead of YJ. ‘Beware the Batman’ and ‘Teen Titans Go!’. Ok I have problems with both of these already lets start with Beware the Batman. I don't know about you but I'm getting sick of Batman shows. Don't get me wrong I love Batman, hell Batman TAS was the best thing ever when I was a kid. But they've been shoving Batman in our faces for years now with 'The Batman' and 'Batman the Brave and the Bold' and all the batman movies lately, though batman under the red hood is awesome! but that's the thing batman has been done to death by now. I'm finding my self liking the sidekicks of Batman more then him. d**k Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne they all bring something new and different to the table. The only thing this one that brings that's new is a ex-secret agent version of Alfred and a sidekick called ‘Katana.’ Guess what her gimmick is.
The only thing that maybe interesting is a new cast of villains and truth be told that could be a hit or miss.
And now for Teen Titans Go! Now I hear you say Teen Titans is awesome whats wrong with that. The thing is from what I've read the show is missing what we liked about it. The seriousness, the style. The show tried to be funny and sometimes it was but that's not why I watched it. I loved the Teen Titans for the dark sad moments. The Power struggle with Slade and Robin, The Rise and fall of Terra Cyborg growing as a person, Raven fighting with her own inner demons. Instead we are getting a lighter version of the show that's not the titans I know and loved. I mean look at this.
Wow can you just imagine the action this team brings us. Yea thought not
Anyway its almost 3 in the morning I should wrap up this rant in short who ever decided to take off young justice needs a Lobotomy and fast. Till they have the sense to see what they are throwing away the only good thing on Cartoon network, I guess we have to suffer through something we don't need and don't want.
