Reminder: these matches are one pokemon per person, but like a Gym battle you'll roll to see who goes first before sending out pokemon. It doesn't matter what order you post those introductory/order-rolling posts. The battlefields are a plain concrete floor, no bonuses or penalties to anyone. Remember to use only the pokemon originally entered in the tournament, using the bonuses what were entered at the time. In an effort to keep this round from dragging on, I will be instating a time limit: all battles must be concluded on 1 month's time. If the battle is unfinished on March 20 will be ended, and person who posted last will be awarded the win.

Lenore entered the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. They had just barely won their last match, but a quick rest at the pokemon center had the duskull revitalized.

Alexa walked into the stadium a little confused. Her last opponent had withdrawn when the battle had barely gotten started. She looked up to see Lenore and Mephistopheles and smiled. She had battled them before and she waved. "Good luck!" She called. Seeing Mephistopheles made her really think about who to toss out.

Alexa figured that she needed to get her pokemon out and so grabbed a pokeball. Hopefully this battle would go as well as some others against Mephistopheles had. Masked Socks appeared when Alexa tossed the ball out. The Eevee took in her opponent as she walked onto the plain field.  900 HP

Alexa looked at the pokemon for a moment and thought about how to start off the battle. Finally she decided on an attack to use. "Use Shadow Ball!" She called out. Masked Socks nodded her head at Mephistopheles. "Why thank you!" She replied. She then ran around him and fired a few Shadow Balls.[ Move Used in This Post: Shadow Ball] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Shadow Ball] [ HP: 900/900]

Alexa groaned when the ice hit Masked Socks. It froze the Eevee solid but it didn't look to be too thick. Masked Socks had been in the process of running when the ice hit. She was frozen mid-run. "Come on Socks." Alexa muttered when she saw the ghost raising his defense. Socks wiggled some more and felt the ice crack. It was already melting and her wiggling around was helping to free her. Alexa frowned for a moment thinking. She didn't think that Socks would do any damage if she just attacked now. "Alright use Work Up!" She called out. Socks bounded around the field working herself up.
