Emma McQueen x Andrew Johnathon Switch
Christophe was up to his usual tricks, and this year he thought it would be kind of funny to mess with the rest of the school. It had taken him a few months and failed trials, but he finally had succeeded in creating a love potion. The results varied depending on who was taking it, some times it lasted longer then others as well as being weak sometimes and strong others. However it worked, whoever took the potion would "fall in love" with the next person they saw. It was just wonderful.
Although older students were more amusing him, it was easier for him to target the younger students. A younger Gryffindor boy walked past him and Christophe quickly moved so he was in step with the younger boy. "You look like you'd be interested in some sweets. I happen to have some on me." he handed a bag of candies to the younger student. "Don't worry about me, I have plenty." he said before the boy could say anything. "Well I'm off. Have a wonderful day." Christophe said with a smile.

 Andrew looked up at the older student a little suspiciously. Sweets weren't usually his thing, but a bag of them were handed off to him and the other student left before he could even speak. "Um. Okay, then. That was odd..." he murmured to himself and eyed the candy. He shrugged and popped one into his mouth before turning a corner into the open air. He had a break between classes and wanted to spend it in the sun.

 Emma felt a little frustrated when she couldn't find her way to the School's kitchen before Valentines Day. She had wanted to send her Dad a treat like she would normally make for him. But the young Griffindor couldn't find the kitchens. "Well maybe I can find some of the ingredince I need, and use my potions pot." she sighed not liking the idea but it was the best she had and went out onto the grounds. "Maybe I'll just have to send something else. But It's been to long since I've cooked anything.... edible." she said thinking about her favorite class potions, since it was the only one close to cooking that she could get.

Andrew had just been about to settle down in the sun when he saw her. She was quite pretty even if she did look a bit lost. Maybe he should help her! Standing quickly, he jogged up to her and smiled. "Hi there, you looking for something?" he asked her cheerfully. Had he been in his right mind, he would have wondered what came over him. Normally he was much more inclined to sit back and watch...

Emma blinked when he just came out of no-where like he did, She knew him by face only since he was in her house and the same year, but was grateful that he offered to help her. "Oh I was just a little disappointed that I couldn't cook anything for my Father. It's the first time I won't be able to, for Valentines." she said with a small smile. "You're Andrew... Switch right?" trying to recall the roll call. She didn't remember him really going out of his way to help people. Then again she was still finding new things out at every turn. But she couldn't ever remember him offering to help her when she took one of her stumbles or dropped an ink bottle. So it seemed a little strange. "I figured that since I couldn't find the kitchen, I might as well use my potions pot and wild vegetables. Cooking is the only time I'm not clumsy. I guess that's why I like potions." she said explaining her predicament.

Andrew smiled at her a little and nodded, blushing softly. "Yeah, that's right...you're Emma, right?" he asked. She talked a lot and he found he liked the sound of her voice; he wanted her to keep talking. "I'm not sure students are supposed to be in the kitchen, so they make it pretty hard to find." He smiled as he explained his thoughts to her. "So um...what kind of vegetables did you need? Maybe I could help you find some." Really he just wanted to be around her some more. Perhaps he could figure out how to tell her how pretty she was...

Emma nodded "Yeah that's my name." she said her own face turning pink making her freckles stand out. "Well different dishes call for different ingredince. But a true master can make a sublime dish with what ever he or she is given." she said. "So I guess it would be what I should make, with what there is.... And my kettle." She closed her blue eyes. "Lets see there's soups.... but that's to obvious. I don't have any meat or poultry to work with...." She opened her eyes " Guess I should find out what vegetables I can find... Think they would notice a pumpkin going missing?" she asked seeing the perhaps too big pumpkins and took a few steps look at them closer before slipping on nothing and landing on her bum. She laughed a little at her clumsiness.
