The trainee Hunter, Aiden Harrison, stepped into the cove and peered curiously down the steps. “Here goes nothing.” He said with a small grin and started his way down. It didn't seem to take that long to him to get to area he was supposed to be able to find his weapon but then he didn't have anything to track the time anyway so it didn't matter. Once inside the room like area at the end of the stairs he paused to look around. Just one torch wasn't a lot of light in his opinion but it was more then enough in this case to see. He walked over to the wall with the tablets and looked from rune to rune. He raised a hand as he walked along the rows, fingers itching to touch each and everyone out of curiosity but holding back and looking carefully at each one. After what seemed like forever his hand came down on one of the tablets and a humming filled his head. The teen studied the rune for a moment before he pulled the tablet out with a quick tug. In an instant the tablet had changed to a spetum and he had to change his grip so he wouldn't drop the weapon.
“~Well you certainly took your time.~” Aiden almost dropped the weapon at the male voice even though he was expecting it and the grin he had been wearing from the start grew. “Oh you know, had to make a few stops before hand.” He said with a chuckle as he held the pole arm closer to study it. “I'm Aiden, and you are?” he asked as he set the blunt end on the ground and poked at the sharp blades. “~Souji. You're going to cut yourself.~” It was more of a statement then any warning, one that had Aiden's grin turning into a smirk. “Well then nice to meet you Soui. How long have you been stuck down here?” The Hunter asked, still poking the blade. “~As we have no clocks down here I wouldn't know.~” Was the sarcastic response. The green haired teen laughed then picked the spetum end off the ground and started to make his way towards the entrance/exit. “I can see why you would have trouble with that. What were you before?”
“~Not a pole arm that's for sure.~” The weapon snarked. “~I was a Byakko.~” Questions instantly started to come to mind for Aiden. What the Byakko had looked like, been like, how powerful, how old, and more but for the moment he curbed them. After all he would have plenty of time to get to know the other. And his notebook was in his dorm room anyway. There was however one question he figured he should get out of the way. “You're a guy right?” His voice was cheerful as he bounced up the steps and heard a groan. “~Of course I'm a male!~” Clearly the duo would end up being the best of friends.
