It's a pleasure to meet you all! I am TwiDawnLight the guild's Captain and your guide in this brief tutorial. Let's begin with the summary!
Summary:
Bleach: The End takes place in a post-apocalyptic future set 1000 years after the Winter War our turning point being that Ichigo Kurosaki lost the battle against Aizen. As a result Karakura was obliterated off the face of the Earth. However despite his efforts Aizen was still incapable of crafting the King's Key and so failed to ever reach the Spirit King. In retaliation he destroyed Soul Society, weakened as it was due to the massive casualties of the war, leaving a lifeless husk of a world behind. He didn't stop there, though, without shinigami to keep the balance hollows relentlessly assaulted the humans left behind and the living world was thrown into virtual chaos.
It would have remained as such were it not for the of survivors of the war and the spiritually aware everywhere. Through their combined efforts not only were many countries of the world able to hold their own but they were also able to maintain their presence on the surface world until the ultimate plan could be completed: The Underground. It was an engineering miracle born of the most brilliant minds of humans and spirits alike. Upon its completion the world slowly retreated into society down below before escaping altogether. The surface of the world became a wasteland home to tribes of humans, wandering spirits and occasionally hosting the occasional Espada who live in villas on the only rich and thriving land left on the surface. To an outsider this world would seem dead but the war rages on.
Down below the citizens of the Underground continue to build and fight improving their (hopefully temporary but at present only) home as well as their military firepower. Society has managed to reestablish itself in some manner as to allow people to live normal lives. It's the year 3009 and this is where our story begins.
