Awkard. While the setting was fine, food and chocolate was always a plus, but Desu-chan set him up with a guy. Well... he could make the most of it. he eyed his fairy companion and sat on the picnic cloth. "Hi." Not the most glorious of introductions but it would do. Though there was nothing he could do to hide the butt wings or the fact that he had a lizard companion. The beeb seemed to be content to curl up not far away. Maybe it had learned that staying too close meant getting burned, eventually. Not that the lizard had it bad. It just didn't have the common sense to not walk right behind him.

He pulled his flaming tail onto a leg, careful not to set the cloth on fire. Or maybe he could, it would liven up the place a bit. He stares out at the giant death trap lake.

Greetings? Andrew did nothing to hide the slight surprise on his face. Andrew was completely unaware that the fairy could indeed feel his emotions, but his tail's flame matched his mood and it jumped a little matching his expression.

Though the fact the chocolate was handed out was a very nice thing. he took the other half and relaxed content with it. "I'm Andrew." well he shouldn't have been to surprised, at having a male companion for a date. His own parents were both female. It wasn't one of those things that mattered. It was more the fact that Andrew didn't really know what to do with male companions that much at this point. Somehow he hadn't made that many friend of the same sex in the very short time he had been here. He was just more comfortable around ghouls.

His companion looked to be a fairy of some sort. He had wings, but they looked powdery, not soft or warm..

"So. What was your favorite part of the festival?" he reached for a topic and grabbed the easiest one at hand. Maybe the other boil had found something interesting that he missed. Or maybe he would show to like one of the many pets he had in his pockets and he could sale them off. Either way, it would be a lead in to something else, hopefully.

"Avoiding it huh?" he smiled. "I understand, it can get rather crazy out there." he looked at the lizard. "But you know, it could be fun. At the very least there is prizes and stuff that you can collect." he rambled. If he wouldn't fill the silence he would. "though I would advice avoiding X's booth, it really isn't one at all. I think he's just trying to woo Selene, and doing a terrible job of it."

Not as terrible as his own earlier attempts but hey.

"I think that the cups games in the Howler's booth is my favorite though. I like strategy games like that."

He caught the wince and wondered if the fairy had already had an encounter with X. The teacher was very creepy, and not in a good way.

However it seemed like he had found a decent topic, "What kind? Sure some people just guess at it, but if you watch the hands of the person really carefully you can usually figure it out. sometimes it can be tricky though. It takes a bit of concentration but most of the time I can follow the pumpkin seed." he nibbled at his chocolate, realizing that if he didn't finish it quickly it might melt on him, it was already getting on his fingers.

Speaking of which, he eyed the sodas. "You can have both of those things." he nodded at the can. He used things, because he really didn't want anything to do with the liquid it contained.

"Anyway, I play other games too, chess sometimes, and card games like poker." he suddenly wished he had a deck on him, oh well. It wasn't enough time to get a full game in anyway.

"Just a little bit?" he was a bit difficult to understand the fairy's accent. But he just assumed that to him, he sounded like firelands.

"Sure, I never touch anything close to water." he watched one of the a candles, amused by the bit of fire. He reached out and started playing with the flames of it nearly putting the tiny thing out. he wasn't sure why they were out there, weren't the undead terrified of it? Still he found them comfortable. "I like riddles too. They are interesting." he had one that he still remembered, but... the meaning would probably be lost on his companion without knowing about the crowns to start with.

"Ahh sweet!” Andrew took one. His tail flame perked up and he took one, quickly making a count of how many there were.

“Well, I suppose I can tell a few lame ones." he thought for a long moment trying to remember a quick and easy one. He stared at the blanket for a long moment and then got it.

"Alright listen carefully:
What occurs once in every minute, twice in every moment, yet never in a thousand years?"

He smiled at the other boy. Would he find the answer?

"Not even a guess at it? All that you need is there." He smiled amused as the Faerie struggled with it.

"Just think about the words." he took another chocolate and nibble on it.

"Yeah, that's what I thought at first too. But the answer is the letter M." he took the last of his share of the chocolates and shoved one in his mouth eating it fairly quickly.

"I think our time is about up. Shall we head back?" he glanced back at the fair.
