Taking a break from all the festivities, Etzer sat at the cafeteria, more than glad to be alone for the moment. He didn't ever think he would get sick of being around others, but here he was, actually taking pleasure in the moment of quiet.
He was eating his food slowly, in between staring out the window and reading one of his Choose Your Own Adventure books. The frost demon had read this one quite a few times, and found himself wishing that they'd release another adventuring book already. It had been quite a few months since the last one, and it just seemed longer and longer for the next one to come out.
The wat was rather disappointing, as was reading the same novel over and over again (despite how much he may have loved it)... which is why he ended up staring out the window, completely oblivious of his surroundings.
It was rather uncharacteristic of him.

He'd decided it was time enough to come out of his room. He'd been messaging Tahki by mail and wanted a break now that he'd realized his romantical feelings weren't... very romantical anymore. He still wanted to be her friend, still considered her his best friend, but in order to stop moping about, he couldn't wait on her. She had no idea when she was coming back, so that's why he decided to move on.
Other than that, Uller realized he was pretty hungry and was tired of eating snacks in his room. His body was craving actual food. So he headed down to the cafeteria for just that.
After getting a tray full of his favorites, he looked around for a place to sit. Last time he was here, he'd gotten into a brawl with Mac. Well, punched the reaper here. The actual fight took place in the gymnasium and he wasn't wanting that to happen again. Still, none of his friends looked like they were here.
He was just about to go sit by himself when he saw, what appeared to be, an ice boil staring out the window. Arching a brow, the stag moved over to get a feel of the air around the other before nodding and sitting down.
No words would move past Uller's lips first. He wanted to see how long the other would take to notice him.

It took a moment for Etzer's eyes to wander back to his book, but when he did, he noticed another sitting across from him. Glancing out of the corners of his eyes, he realized the cafeteria was empty. So... why sit here?
He tilted his head and stared at the other with a cool gaze for a moment, noticing the frosty demeanor of the other. Oh. He had a slight... frosty touch to him as well. That was quite a refreshing feeling.
"Hello." The frost demon couldn't help but smile, taking in the other's appearance. Coat just like him, only his horns were a bit longer than his. Currently Etzer's coat lay on the bench beside him, so he was just left in his skintight shirt and tie, enough to keep him cooled off but decent enough people wouldn't freak out over him being naked.

Yes, Uller's coat was coming off as the other finally spoke to him. He didn't want the coat on unless he absolutely had to have it on. And, now, he didn't. So, off it went, relieving the loose fitting muscle shirt beneath it of a gray green color. The color of a bright green shirt covered in dust. It wasn't an unattractive color, but it worked on him, somehow.
"Do you always sit half naked, practically, and not pay attention to what's going on around you?" Came the cool reply. Uler wasn't one for beating around the bush. Arching a brow, he examined the other and sighed.
He moved to eat a bit of the food on his tray, not even worried about what it was he was eating, because it would taste decent enough. After a year of eating it, it was, anyway. His taste buds had shifted so he ate it without much qualm. He did stop though and wrinkle his nose a little. It tasted greasier than usual. Oh well.
"First year?"

Etzer grinned. "Absolutely. Especially when Scarentines is going on. Is it always that busy?" He sighed and took another bite of his food, more than happy to relax once more. "And if I don't take my clothing off every now and then, I'm rather prone to nosebleeds."
The frost demon thought for a moment.
"Yeah, first year. Though it feels longer than that." He didn't realize how long he'd been sitting until his muscles complained, so he stretched out, allowing his joints to pop and crack. "My name is Etzer. I'm afraid I don't have the leisure of knowing your name as of yet."

Nosebleeds, really? Maybe the heat got to the other. Uller mentally shrugged that one off before taking another bite of his food, chewing it thoughtfully as he listened to the other speak. Then watched the boil stretch out. Interesting.
Etzer? What kind of name was that? Uller had to snort and tried to bite back the sarcastic question. Best not be nasty, else he might have find another ice boil to hang around when Frost was busy. Sighing, Uller arched a white eyebrow and shrugged. "I haven't given my name out, Etzer, which would be why you do not know it." Well, so much for not being nasty. Ah, well, best say it now. "Glasere Uller." He spoke with a slight accent to his name, wondering if the other would be able to say it right. Probably not. "Most, however, call me Uller, because it is easier to remember and pronounce."
He stretched out, himself and then sighed, settling back down. "As for your Scaretine's question, I have no idea. I would assume. I do not partake in the stupid holiday. Too many... joyful feelings," he gagged on the word and then wrinkled his nose. "I much prefer Halloween or a holiday we can focus on ... less gaudy, pink things."

"Glasere Uller." Etzer recited it perfectly, saying it without any qualms. "My father always insisted that correct pronunciation would get us places, and make friends." Which was half true; politics was a slithery business, and one always had to be on their toes with wording.
The frost demon had to admit, though, that despite the other's attitude, he liked the sassiness, and the corner of his lips tugged upward as he attempted to keep a smile from breaking out on his face.
"Yeah, I've kind of gotten my fill of it. It's why I ended up here, reading alone." Etzer shrugged.

When the name was repeated back to him perfectly, Uller arched a bro and waited for the explanation that followed quickly behind him. He nodded a little, not bothering to ask for further explanation. Tilting his head a little more, he rolled his shoulders and ate again slowly.
Good, at least the other one didn't like the amount of ugly pink and gaudiness that was happening right now. He seriously blamed Desu for incorporating it into Halloween. He honestly didn't believe this holiday was always celebrated here. His eyes stung every time he looked at ribbons, chocolates, or glitter. It made him want to throw up his food.
Though, what else could he say with Etzer? ".... What are you reading?"
Uller liked reading, so that was a hopeful common middle ground.

"It's a Choose Your Own Adventure. My brother believes them to be a terrible series, but they're really mostly known for the comedy. I enjoy them all the same. This one's called Brain Children from Beneath the Stars." Etzer closed the book and slid it over to Uller, already knowing what page he was on. He could find it again later.
It wasn't long before Etzer finished his food, cracking his neck and folding his hands under his chin, glancing over Uller once more. "If you don't mind, I'm not familiar with what you are. I'm a frost demon myself."

"Ah. I've read one of those, unknowing I wasn't supposed to read all of it at once, so it ws confusing to me. I'm not fond of them. Give me a good mystery novel any day," he said, shrugging his shoulders a little bit.
At the question about what he was, Uller's brows went up. He hadn't even thought of saying. "Arctic monster. Snow Stag." He nodded his head a little and finished his own food. His stomach was full after those few bites because of his depression earlier. It'd made his stomach incredibly small. "A deer, I suppose, if you're uncertain."

Unable to keep his chuckle down, Etzer grinned as he slid the book back, keeping it closed. He found Uller more interesting at the moment. "I rather enjoy a good novel when I have the time for it, but I'm often interrupted, so these make the perfect books for my busy schedule." Honestly, most of his time was spent worrying about and texting his brother Molan, as well as designing clothes in whatever spare time was left.
And any and all homework in between.
"Ahhh, a snow stag. Intriguing." And he meant it, his eyes lighting up. Their father had made sure that both of the boys had researched most all races as extensively as they could, but for Etzer's sake... he had researched for far different reasons than their father had intended.

Ah, well then, it seemed he was one of those interruptions, wasn't it? He frowned at that thought and then rolled his eyes. Anyone should be honored he would even talk to them at this point. He was c**k of the walk, so to speak. He knew he was good looking, buffer than some, and most other arctic creatures were interested in him. Take this one for example.
He'd made the other put his book away. "Is it so intriguing? There are few of us left in the world. But, we do what we can to keep ourselves from fading away. I think it's we're more scattered than most other arctic creatures," he said simply, pushing his bangs out of his face. Of course he was looking the other boil over from head to toe. Sizing up the competition still.

"No, I didn't mean it like that." Etzer pressed his fingers together, the corner of his lips twitching. "I find everyone intriguing in one way or another. Everyone has their own unique talents, their own... thing that makes them stand out. I've never met a snow stag before, so thus you are intriguing." The other's muscle had nothing to do with it. He'd seen better on Sharra.
At the eyeing, Etzer arched an eyebrow, the corner of his lips twitching once more. He was trying not to smile, but his tell kept threatening to give him away. "If you like what you see, you can always explore more in my room." Clasping his fingers together, he stared at Uller, expecting a reaction.Saint Sergio I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY ;;;;;

Uller noticed the lip twitching and just barely refrained himself from rolling his eyes. Honesty, there was nothing to smirk or smile at. In his opinion, anyway. To the stag, his own opinion was the only one that mattered. "I suppose I see your point, but..." he let his words trailed off and waved a hand. At least, until he heard the flirting tone in the other. Uller's face went stark white. Or it would have, had he not been blue and he kind of just stared at the other Arctic one. Flirting this abruptly, and on a first meeting wasn't in the protocol of how things were done. If this Etzer wanted to court him, that would be entirely out of the question this early. Acquaintance shouldn't flirt! Thus, the stag opened his mouth to say something, and just shut it quickly as color found it's way to his cheeks. He just ducked behind his hair and stared at his tray now.

Now he was getting somewhere. Etzer now let the smile cross his face, eyes keen as they stared.
"I know you're sizing me up, but if you want to keep looking, that's how some are going to take it. By your reaction I don't think... you've dealt with someone like me, have you?" He knew he was incorrigible, especially when it came to his brother. Molan had him pegged to a T, and it both bugged and relieved him that someone knew him so well.
He didn't know if he could find someone else that could do that. Meanwhile, he would have fun. Even if it was at another's expense.
"Honestly, though? I'm not much of a threat." That part was truth. "I learned that the hard way." From Danny. Damn that hot-headed flame demon.
