Getting up from his seated position by the dragon corpse, Damian began his trek back to the Celestial Plane. He allowed his wings to escape a moment, maybe flying would be a bit nicer. With that, he took off, flying towards the oceanic plane which he would use to get back. It wasn't often that he was able to do this, especially in the Celestial Plane. The dragon wings many of the Dovaa acquired weren't able to provide flight, but more of a short coast. His Orderite blood is what allowed him to truly fly.
A few moments into his flight, he looked to the ground and saw a vine burst forth, punching him in the gut and forcing him to topple over and lose control of his wings. They quickly disappeared in a burst of light and he came tumbling to the ground. "What the hell!?" he said, slowly catching his breath and getting up.
A screech was heard throughout the forest and he knew what that meant. He had heard it many a time before from Serenia's forested areas. When a Ysali dragon was found dead by another, they would call out for help. It was a defense mechanism since they knew they may be too weak to handle things on their own. A Ysali dragon, larger than the first, popped out from a nearby tree and tackled Damian, flinging him back a bit more.
He shook his head as if to shake off the headache he had gotten from that last blow. He slowly brought himself to his feet and the Ysali was conjuring sharp leaves from the ground in order to throw them at him. He knew what was going to happen. He needed to get away. He took some water and blasted it towards the enemy, who dodged most of it, but was hit slightly on the back end, causing the dragon to fling back a little bit. It was then that Damian began to take off running as fast as he could.
More screeches were heard in the distance as he ran towards the ocean.
