Just like any other night Spinar lay his head down on the crystal bed and snuggled down into the furs his mother had packed for him. A perfect night, the room was at a cool temp and it didn't take him long to doze off. Slumber coming easy at first it was filled with nothingness like nights prior only after a few snores started up did things start to take an interesting twist.
Within the blackness a silver light started to appear and before long Spinar found himself face to face with a blurred but clearly humanoid form, bit by bit the blurred form started to clear until he was staring into a set of identical blue eyes. It was nearly a mirror image of himself, a smirk spread his icy lips before a bark from the slightly taller and far more simply clothed self turned it into a quick and defensive frown.
"Whats so funny?.." The shaky form inquired as it began to smooth down the surface of its silver poet shirt. "Do let me in on the joke, I enjoy a good one.." Spinar's lips tilted back at the ends and he shrugged reaching a clawed hand towards the other, testing to see if it would vanish, though it didn't. Interesting. He wasn't quite sure just yet what this dream was hinting at but if it didn't get interesting soon he was sorely tempted to try to sleep through it as well.
Could he imagine a bed? The frost demon turned from the boringly dressed other and glanced around at the nothingness that surrounded them. What kind of a dream was this? There was nothing to it..."Typically I don't dream..and I'm starting to think that's for the best is all." Grinning cheekily he turned his attention back to the other, raising a faint brow of curiosity when seeing the form had finally solidified. The one before him was surely a strange mirror-image with some slight age. Why in Jack's name was he dreaming about himself, besides to see how good-looking he was? Chuckling at his own thoughts he leaned back into the darkness on a tired sigh. "Perhaps the jolly meal I had was bad..." He ponders aloud, circling the taller and poking a sharp and curious claw into his side.
Solid. Well build and solid.
"Are you done or should I come back another time when you have more interest in other things than yourself?" The mirror-self questioned a bit of sarcasm to its tone that set Spinars lips into a sour pucker. How cheeky. Turning his head up Spinar offered to the other with an extension of his hand in a gesture that said he would listen if it was worth his time, "well now that all depends, you are myself are you not, so unless you plan to tell me things about others then wouldn't you not come back if I said yes?" Grinning he awaited the reply, a smugness to his icy eyes.
"...Oh youth. Is it fun to think you know everything?" The question was posed by the mirror-self though it wasn't left long for a reply before another was offered, "..your right I suppose but wrong, I am a part of you but I'm not, we have lived separate lives and I am but a fragment. A piece in a puzzle of many, but I have secrets. " Spinar's eye twitched at the other but falling to the floor he crossed his legs and put a hand to his ear, "secrets?..It's not nice to keep secrets from ourselves." He didn't grasp just yet what the other was getting at, but he did know the situation was becoming annoying, thinking if he listened it would be over faster he simply surrendered to the mirror-self allowing for the moment the secrets to be shared.
After all he was a sucker for secrets.
The mirror-self smirked triumphantly, though a sadness lingered in the older wiser eyes as he stared down to the obnoxious youth at his feet. He could tell that this, the real him, they were alike only the real one was ..much more foolish. The mirror-self wanted to help him see the light before his errors became the real Spinar's errors. To accept the need for others, to let his feelings be put forth even when fear was present in them, to not only live but live with others, to see the value beyond price..to. Shaking his head he began to tell his story.
Spinar sat cross-legged for the beginning barely hanging on to interest, Kingdoms, Rosy it was all well and good but it sounded-
"Boring right? ...That's what I thought but I guess you never realize how much worth there is in simple peace until its gone.." His mirror-self smirked as if able to read his mind, though it was more of the clearly bored expression plastered on his face. Spinar shrugged his shoulders and grinned clearly not seeing this so-called value in peace and boredom. The story continued on with a sigh, around the part of following Rosy to the so-called Red Kingdom he perked watching as the simple silver clothes of his mirror-self changed into elegant and red cloth. "Fancy.." He grinned admiring the fabrics and keying in as the other shook his head and pressed on to the meeting of the king. It was the butt touches that had Spinar losing the attitude in favor of laughter. "Go on..go on and then?" He encouraged the newly smiling mirror-self.
The Voice was starting to irritate Spinar as he listened to the tale, it was getting good though and it was too insanely funny that his fragment as he was informed had a crush on Rosy. It had to of been Rosy, the description, the name it sounded just like her, only the way she was described was a little conflicting, the kiss, the bravery? The Rosy he knew, his Rosy wasn't like this at all, for jacksake she practically turned invisible when he just barely teased her. But that wasn't here nor now he told himself with a growing grin as the mirror-self started to tell of the tower trials.
To lose all sense was both thrilling and admittingly a little frightening to hear about, but that's what made a story right? Spinar's features twisted into a look of confusion as he watched his mirror-self, he was speaking with such a passion such strong emotion to the gestures and at one point he even looked as if he was about to cry since he wasn't able to find his Rosy. It was almost as if it was real. Slowly Spinar started to realize what the secret might be and the explanation behind being a fragment. A dim light lit the eyes that were normally full of spiteful laughter, tucking his knees up he clasped his hands around then and hid his frown lips from sight with his arms. Being along in the darkness, with no sounds and just the feel of someones warmth, to be so unsure and helpless. It was...depressing? Spinar settled on the word and bit his lip to hold down a more accurate mental assessment. Spinar cracked a grin and shook his head when the final meeting of all the fragments was told of, the second kiss, the need to turn his thoughts before he over-thought spurred him to comment, "You know I'm starting to think your feeding me a line, two kisses and one from Agsil? Of course you are quite fetching if I do say so myself but be realistic.." Or rather the fragment Agsil he supposed, like the fragment Rosy.
"The comfort was..something too I never got to properly say thank you for, I missed so many chances." A pleading look was given to Spinar which caused the frost demon to blink in curiosity. "...Second chances are rare, I'm sure you know all about that though..?" The Fragment moved a hand to ruffle the white locks of hair on the real Spinars head. Content now that his 'story' was out and taking some comfort in the fact that he would live on in this Spinar's memories, even if it meant next to nothing to the boy now it meant everything to the fragment to be able to finally speak his peace. "Seek them out, I'm sure it will be more fun than you can handle."
Spinar watched as the fragment started to blur and get closer as if coming into his body. Taking the last of his words as a challenge he attempted a mental note to do just that, even if it was a dream there was never an amount of fun he couldn't handle.
