Who is your favorite christian band to listen to?
I really like Building 429 and Casting Crowns
and a lot of other ones, but those are the first that come to mind for me smile

The only music I listen to that could be called decidedly Christian falls in the category of western art music (more commonly known as "classical," though that's a bit of a misnomer for those of us who study music).
I just find that most or all modern music in the "Christian" genre, at least that I've come across thus far, to be fairly musically bland, and I'm not really a lyric person. (Much of the music I listen to doesn't even have lyrics.)

(Much of the music I listen to doesn't even have lyrics.) There is nothing wrong with that. I have a CD of Trevor Mast (he's not famous or anything, but used to do tours at small churches around Michigan, and was a friend of my father. He played hymns, with a twist, on piano, and sometimes made them into medleys, I loved it. He eventually started singing with them too, but I liked the piano much better.

I was never much of a music fan other than in band until a few years ago, now I still learn about all Christian music from radio, so I don't always catch names.
But I recognize most and like all the ones I recognize of the ones you guys have posted too smile
Sanctus Reel is having a concert next month not too far away from where I live and I think that would be fun to go to, but I can't get time of work for it sad I've never been to a concert before and I think it would be fun
