The title is pretty self explanatory. Have you ever had to deal with a stalker on Gaia or in real life? I have, and it was more than enough to make me uncomfortable.
I met this girl on Gaia, she seemed nice enough. We chatted a lot and at first it seemed fine, I liked her. Eventually though, she'd show up in threads I posted in. I just thought eh, no big deal. She eventually started to always wanna talk dirty. I know I make dirty jokes often, but this was different. It was really descriptive and awkward. She started asking me stuff like "Would you date me if you liked girls?" and "Aren't you ever curious about dating girls?" As if girls are an alien species and there's soooo much to wonder about them. She'd showed up in zOMG unexpectedly and if I was talking to other people more than her, she'd Meebo me whining about it. Anyways, she got really pissed at me because she was online and I didn't message her. As if the first thing I was to do when I got online was talk to her. So after that argument I blocked her. So what does she do? Gets on her mule and tries to start it back up. After blocking that account, it stopped. About a month later, I unblocked her. I figured she probably forgot and was over it. Nope. The next day I get a PM from her as if nothing had happened. The PM was about how I was talking to this guy and she didn't approve and didn't want me talking to him. I immediately blocked her and her mule again because that s**t is crazy. I don't know how she knew I unblocked her unless she was checking all the time. I still have her and her mule blocked. I kinda wonder if I unblock either of them if I'll get a message. If I did I'd probably s**t myself and she'd like, I don't know, track Crim down and cut off his head and feed it to a shark.
But yep, there's my Gaia stalking story. It's one of the reasons I'm a rather private person when it comes to my real life. That and experiences that other friends have had.
Didn't mean to take such a dark turn for Valentines Day but these are the threads I make at 2:30 AM.

Yeah, overly attached girl there. I wouldn't dare unblock her. I've never had a stalker and I tend to be pretty private. I don't give out my name or pictures of myself or anything. Not even what state I live in. And now to lighten up this thread, here's a picture of Ninfia and some Eevees.

I've had a rl creeper. And i tend to attract them everywhere i go, though only one lasted more than a short time. Even attracted one online, though that wasn't on gaia.

Not even what state I live in. And now to lighten up this thread, here's a picture of Ninfia and some Eevees.
I'm really private now, too. People should really be more careful about what they post online, because you never know who's looking. I don't have a Facebook, or Twitter, and the sites I do use there's no personal information. I know some people think it's weird to be so cautious but I don't wanna end up regretting it.

It's okay now though. Bad part was that we went to the same school and then he moved to my dorm >.> and was suddenly going for the same major... but it's all good now and i also moved off campus after that semester. but really i once attracted one in a book store, talking about pathfinder because someone asked me about a book. luckily my little sis and my bestie were there to get me away. (really i kept moving away and making my answers shorter and he was so much older than me >.<)

And oh those poor souls, i'm oblivious and it takes my bestie to save them from my obliviousness. I've had a guy or two follow me around there... but... usually i'm with someone so it's not too bad. And when i said older... i mean... probably 30 years older than me minimum... he had to be in his 50-60s... or atleast he looked it and felt like he was that old...

I am paranoid about the internet. Seriously. I'm very cautious about what i post and unless i know you, you only get my first name if i even give you that. I have a couple of names i go by on the interwebs that people i've met online know me by, but to get anything more, i have to trust you. I've only recently put a pic of me for my facebook pic and that's purely because it's my awesome dragon costume.

And i can see why i get followed now too. lol took me a long time to get past wearing clothing 2-3 times too big for me. I was the outcast in school till high school. I should see if i can find a good cheshire pick as well. ^^ That one was a good costume. If i manage to do a rapunzel this year, and i have more creepers... at least i'll have a frying pan at my disposal?

Few days late to the stalker-talk-fest, but I was working 10 hour days from the 13th-15th, running on 3 hours of sleep.

Only mine was irl.
Thankfully he's left me alone for close to a year.
Was still really creepy though.

I once had a stalker... wait... I don't know if you can call them that... anyway, I have no idea how me and this chick became friends on Gaia but she would talk to me instantly when I get online and she would go to the forums I look at and even join me in towns. One time I remember I was standing in towns and she showed up but I didn't notice her and she PMed me and complained. I told her I didn't see her because she had a dark avi and was standing in the shadow of a three when it was night in towns. xP Anyway, this chick would also make new accounts all the time because my stalker had stalkers! Hahaha She would send her new account name in a PM and tell me to add it to my friends. Toward the end she gifted me a low priced item and got mad whenever I didn't wear it even though it didn't match any of my avis. I got tired of it and removed her as a friend. After that I got a PM of one of her friends telling me to give back the item and I told them "What item?" Because they didn't say what item but what they didn't know is that I already have sold it. Anyway, that's my stalker or whatever you call it story.
