The pumpkin sun was a little brighter then it had been the day before, but the day had been rather boring. show up at class, listen to the teacher blather on about the subject of the day, humans had boats. Boats took you places. boats floated on water. At the mention of the word water, he had pretty much tuned out the rest of the lecture. He would never ever get on a boat, so what was the point?
Still they had been assigned the appropriate amount of reading, a repeat of the boring lecture he was sure, and then sent off for the day. He walked lazily tucking his book back under one arm when he spotted something along the path, something red. He stooped and picked it up with interest. This wasn't the first one he had seen, but one never knew what was inside.

With her little shopping excursion, it wasn't much of a surprise she had somewhat fallen behind in her studies, and she did her best to pay attention in class, scribbling down notes.
She also managed to gather up a small pile of readings to do, and currently had her nose buried in one of her textbooks when she felt something shift under her foot.
Lowering the book, she looked down only to notice she had stepped on something. Some sort of... paper?
Letting out a huff, she bent down and picked it up. Looked like some sort of... envelope? Was someone littering in the halls?
Looking around, she saw a flame demon, and frowned. From his clothing and posture, he seemed like the type to not care about order and cleanliness.
"Hey!" she called out. "If this is your mess, I suggest you clean it up. You can't expect the gnomes to do EVERYTHING."

Andrew was just thinking about opening his new find when one of the other students yelled at him. He paused and turned towards her, hand still poised above the envelope, and he frowned at her tail flaring up to match his agitation. "I didn't toss them everywhere. I just found one." and she was a reaper by the looks of her. "but if you don't want it, you can give that to me." who knows, there was something about the possibility of money in these things. [A.V.] He doesn't like her already. Good they can get on each other's nerves.

Mia narrowed her eyes at him. ... right.
"Miasma... I see no reason why the boil would lie to you. Besides, what would he gain from tossing paper everywhere?" "Oh, I don't know," she muttered. "Considering he's a flame demon and all, and paper's pretty flammable..." Psy only shook her head. "Judging students by first impression again?" "He looks like a troublemaker. A lazy sloppy troublemaker." The familiar rolled her eyes.
She stared down at the envelope in her hand. Huh, he wanted it? Well...
"No." It seemed these envelopes weren't just any ordinary envelopes, now that she got a closer look at it, and she started to pry at the flap.phantompanther The start of a beautiful relationship. emotion_kirakira

She started murmuring to her self... or was it the.... butterfly? Was that her familiar? A butterfly? What a pathetic familiar. Andrew defiantly heard the word flame. What did she think he was planing to burn everything down? He had far more control than that. "Ahh fine. Go ahead and open it then." he growled out and turned away looking over the envelope in his hands. The last time he had opened one he had suffered from a fit of hissing, but that might have just been him being homesick. he had found a useless coin.

If she had heard his thoughts, Andrew would find himself having to deal with a very pissed-off reaper, or, well, more pissed off than she already somewhat was. It was probably a good thing she couldn't read minds.
"I WILL." What a snobby demon.
Turning her attention back to the envelope, she opened the flap and peered inside. Was that... She tilted the envelope, and a gold coin fell into her palm.
"Nice." Huh, no wonder the boil wanted the envelope. This gold coin could probably fetch a decent amount silver pumpkin seeds, and after her shopping excursion...
"...Miasma. You're daydreaming again."
She shook her head and turned towards the flame demon. "Hey, you find anything in yoursssssssss?" She blinked, and clamped a hand over her mouth.
What in Jack's name...?Red Envelope Effect 4 - It seems that you find an odd gold coin. Maybe that crazy horseman knows what to do with it. You also have a strong desire to his all your 's's.

He didn't need to read her mind to tell that she was irritable. What a snobby reaper. He huffed chewing on her lower lip, as she opened the envelope and a coin fell out. He recognized the thing... it was a lot like the one he had found before. And then she started hissing her S's. He couldn't hold back and started laughing at her. It was the coin and not him, it sure made him feel from his earlier excursion. "I don't know." he popped it open with a Claw. And out dropped an identical coin. "Awe man, thiss sucksss." he whined a little, trying to remember how long it took for the last one to wear off. He didn't want to be hissing for the rest of the day, again.

When he started to laugh, she flustered, and stomped her foot.
"Sssssto-sssssssstop that!" Augh! This was so frustrating, and humiliating. Jackdammit, this coin better be worth all this.
Though, when the flame demon started hissing his s's too, she couldn't help but let out a snicker.
"Sssssseemsssssss you got affected too." ... ok, it wasn't as funny when she was doing it too.

"Yeah I did." he shrugged. He's already been through it once. Besides she was very much more affected. "You know, it won't be that big of a deal." he avoided using any S's and probably would until it wore off. "Anyway, ss-ssssome." he paused wincing, so much for avoiding his S's. "crazy guy called uncle will take the coinss for trade. I'm going to go get stuff from him. Bye." he waved casually clearly on intending to leave her there, alone. Well at least is wasn't his accent acting up. [A.V.] Watch as he promptly runs away. XD Don't let him leave yet.

Wait. WAIT, was he seriously going to just... THAT LITTLE SNOB.
"Get BACK here you-" She took several steps forward, and grabbed his shirt. "You sssssssssssseem to have a good idea of what would happen. Thissssssssssss uncle guy. Can he fix thissssssss?"
JACK, this was so frustrating, and of course, it didn't help that she kept ending up using s' words, forgetting that it would always come out like that.
Needless to say, she had no intention of letting the boil escape. Not unless she was coming, of course.phantompanther13 She is having NONE of this, lol

"Waaaaah! DON'T TOUCH ME!" he flailed tail coming dangerously close to her cloths and turned up the heat. The tail burned like he was being attack, which to him he was. "Don't touch me! Ewe you are slimy, ewe ew ew!!" He tried to pull away to get away from her. This was not a fellow fire demon like Danny who he could try to put up with, and it was not the feathery Fiona. Sure there wasn't direct skin contact but... EWE. "By Jack just let me goooooo!" he had not intentions of fighting her, but he would burn her if she didn't let go of him this instant. Her and her books. [A.V.] *laughs* um.... he would like it if she would kindly not touch him. He didn't even hear her question by the way, physical contact short circuits his brain.

Ok, she knew some boils didn't like physical contact but THIS was a little ridiculous.
"HEY!" She quickly let go and pulled back, his tail partially singeing her shawl. HE. BURNT. HER. CLOTHES. THIS BOIL WAS GOING TO DIE.
"WHAT IN JACK'SSSSSSSSSSS NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She reached out, grabbing the front of his shirt, and delivered a slap across his face. "YOU BURNT MY SHAWL YOU LITTLE SNOB. NOW GET A HOLD OF YOURSSSSSSSSELF BEFORE I KICK YOUR ASSSSSSSSSSSSS"
Psy, in the meanwhile, was just facepalming not too far off. Or... as close as a facepalm as one would notice for a tiny butterfly.phantompanther13 And he burnt her clothes. THIS IS TURNING OUT QUITE WELL.

This time she did did attack him. He grabbed his face, eyes closing in pain and tried to tug out of her grip. "Let me gooo..." Why did she hit him? He grabbed his face. He just wanted out of there. He started murmuring something in a series of hisses, completely unintelligible to those who didn't speak demonic tongues fluently. Even those who did speak them would find him difficult to understand as the hissing was off by the curse. But it might sound something like, let me go, or I want my mummy. Instead of meeting her eyes he simply sat on the ground, his own weight against one hand might force her to let him go, and he curled up, his tail moving over his head, as his body shook. Heat raided off his body like a small fire as he raised his body temperature to the point of burning on contact. The ground below was experiencing a small bit of scorching, smoke rising above him as he held his face. [A.V.] in his defense, he didn't do it intentionally. it's not his fault her shawl is long. And now he is in full melt down mode congrats you are the first to make him cry.

When he dropped down to the floor, she let go. She might have been bigger than him, but she definitely wasn't stronger. Jack, if he wanted to, he could probably beat her, but instead, instead...
Was he... crying? Psy fluttered over to her and perched on her shoulder.
"Miasma... that was a little harsh, was it not?" "Well, he... he burnt my clothessssssss!" "It wasn't intentional... and besides, that hardly deserved a full frontal assault. The poor thing must be terrified."
Mia rolled his eyes and let out a huff, but knelt down so that she was almost face-level with the boil. Of course, she had to scoot back a bit to prevent getting burned more. What a brat.
"...Hey. I didn't mean to hit you... ok? You burned my ssssssssshawl, and I got mad and AREN'T YOU GOING TO SSSSSSSSTOP SSSSSSSNIVELLING AND SSSSSSTAND UP FOR YOURSSSSSSSSSELF??! Letting a ghoul put you into ssssssuch a ssssssstate. Dessssspicable." "Mia. You're not helping." "It'sssssss not my fault! Thisssssss hissssssssing isssssss really aggrevating!"phantompanther13 I am not sorry. NOT SORRY AT ALL. (Sorry. xD)

He kept his tail close... but no more strikes came.... was she apologizing? he glanced out from under this tail, staring at her. He was not feeling very forgiving. How could you accidently slap someone like that? she was the one who grabbed him. He wasn't a child... he just, really didn't like being touched. "You hit me." well it was more of a slap. Still the accusing in his voice carried across. He stared at her face set into a pout. "I don't like being touched. I don't like touching you and you didn't listen to me... you hit me." He stared at her, his flames going from a ball of protection to a furious burn, raging on his tail. His hands lit up, fire burning from them. "Stay away from me or I'll burn all your clothesss next." The final S came out as a demonic hiss. He didn't want to get into a fight, but he didn't want to be touched again. And then the paper from the envelope ignited, making him realize he might be burning a bit too hot for his books to handle and he tried to force down his temperature a bit. [A.V.] XD whelp, he has warned her. If she likes her cloths, she'll need to reevaluate.
