The pure river glistened under the sun and deep within the forest by the river was a hallowed out tree there was a hidden house with the tree. The bark was shaved off and there was a couple of holes to vent and the quiet surrounding made a quaint feel to it. The radiant sun make the leaves put in an emerald hue into the forest as the birds sun their song and along with the birds was a woman with bright red hair with orange highlights giving that she belong to the country.
"So...the sun has reached the highest peak of the day." She spoke softly to herself. Being alone, she did that lot knowing that she had no one to talk to. Enteisa is her name, she was smart, beautiful, and more of a cold stare that met her name. She peered up in the tree to see her loyal pet Dragona, a dragon slept in the tree as Enteisa gathered water to take in the hallowed tree before beginning what she really does best: Magic

Fern crashed through the trees as she followed the river. She didn't really care who or what heard her, as she figured she could take on whatever was out here. She sighed seeing no end in sight. 'This journey is going to take longer than I anticipated.' It was then that she began wondering what she would do for shelter. She had the food covered, but did shelter ever cross her mind? Of course not. Now here she was, in the middle of no where, with no knowledge of how to build herself a shelter should she need one. In all her years of wandering, she had always stuck to the cities, there were always places to hole up there. She pressed her lips together disappointed in herself for not thinking ahead, but it was bound to happen. After all, it wasn't her fault she was forever trapped in the body and mind of a child. She shrugged to herself and figured it was something she would worry about later if she couldn't find some rinky dink abandoned shed to sleep in.

Entaisa wondered for a few hours learning on how to make a plant grow and she scoffed looking at the flowers by the river only to blast them with fire. "Nature seems to be in control." She scoffed knowing that her spells were pity, but knowing that she almost sat the forest on fire a couple of times so, she learned to control her self by heading to the small waterfall area and hit trees that has fallen in the river. "I am a powerful Sorceress.....why can't I make a simple flower bloom with magic?!" She shouted throwing fire on a fallen log, braking it and watched as the wood splintered and some chunks landed in the river. Taking off her shoes, she headed in to gather the timber and use it for fire wood later on after she put down the deer skin and placed the wet wood on it leaving it out in the sun to dry. "In a couple of days, we'll have more wood to last us, Dragona." She spoke gently to her pet dragon and pat her head.

Fern continued to stumble along. Never in her life had she seen so many trees. Trees. Trees. TREES. And water. Look at all that water! She was internally screaming. Never before had she been consumed in so much nature. Where others would find peace here, she found nothing but unorganized organic matter. Here she was unfamiliar with the layout and anything could be lurking anywhere, watching the stupid outsider crash through their home. Now she was beginning to become paranoid. She jumped at the slightest of noises, rustle of leaves, skitters of animals. In all her travels she had never come across another vampire. Maybe this is where they lived. In the woods, waiting for travelers to wander in, but never wander out. It was the perfect place to go undetected. Who would suspect anything criminal when people simply go missing in the woods? Just then she saw fire illuminate a downed tree over the river and she hit the ground so fast she knew she'd feel it later. She peeked out over a few of the bushes that obscured her view and noticed a girl with long red hair that gleamed like fire in the sunlight. She appeared to be not much taller than herself, though outwardly more matured, so she assumed she was somewhere in her late teens to early twenties. 'What's a girl like that doing all the way out here in the woods?' Fern assumed she was an elemental after what she just witnessed with the fire, but she wasn't going to trust a stranger simply based on that fact alone. As the girl wandered off Fern began to follow from a distance, being as light-footed as was possible. She wanted to see where her apparent shelter was. Maybe there was a civilization out here that no one knew about.

As Enteisa was preparing her fire wood for the next few days, she huffed at the fact that the process of waiting for debris to get caught in the river with the rocks. True, it kept the river pure from becoming polluted with leaves so they can drift on by with no worries. True, the current was fast near the little shelter, but the supply of fish was good. A simple fire blast would make them flop on the ground, even Dragona would help by protecting the fish from animals. It was early afternoon as the sunlight shifted and the wood still had to dry as she ventured with her dragon drooped around her shoulders like a boa and in a flash, Dragona looked up. "What is it, Dragona?" Entesia asked as the small quadruped dragon as he flew up and landed o n a near by tree branch. A bird really doesn't bother him let alone a rodent of a squirrel or raccoon. Enteisa looked up to try and locate what her pet was seeing

As Fern followed the girl, she noticed nothing sinister about her. Basically she seemed to just be collecting wood and going about what most would consider daily activities. There was nothing exciting or dangerous about the process at all. Though, she did notice something that seemed a bit unusual. The girl had a small dragon wrapped around her shoulders. That idea alone chilled Fern to the core. Not just anyone could tame a dragon. They were very intelligent creatures, and would only pledge their loyalty to someone whom they thought was worthy. 'Obviously I need to be careful. This girl is probably more than she appears.' Retreat was probably the best option at this point. All she needed to do was back up and go around the two in a large arc. Of course that would take her away from the river, which could be really bad, but she had her map and food supply, so she figured it would be okay for a few hours. She started to back up when suddenly the dragon's head snapped up and looked in her direction. Now she knew the dragon had sensed her presence. It was far to late for a retreat plan now. Quickly she sunk further into the bush she had been hiding behind as it took flight into a tree above her.

Sorry it took so long. I was sick this past week with the seasons changing my allergies are putting me in a fog "Dragona! Answer me!" Entesia called to the canopy above and watched as her dragon took flight leading Enteasia to think that something was out there. Something that was worth a challenge. She started thinking of boundary spells to try and stop them and kept an eye on Dragona as she flew landing on tree branches, but the sharp eyes of a dragon were able to trace even the smallest twitch of a tree branch. Dragona was on the hunt and Enteasia started chanting up a spell to block the target within a five foot radius from her location.

Fern looked up to see the dragon move to a new branch over head. Obviously it sensed where she was and it would be only a matter of seconds before it found her. She then cocked her head as she heard the girl start to chant something. Well, apparently her guess that this girl was something more was correct. No matter what she did now, she was going to get caught, the best course of action would be to assume all innocence. Technically it wouldn't be that far from the truth. She honestly didn't know the girl would be out here and she wasn't looking for trouble. Slowly Fern raised herself out of the bushes with her hands held up in surrender, feigning the biggest face of child innocence that she could muster up. "P-please don't hurt me! I-I didn't know someone else was out here! I'm so sorry! I just- I was on my way to Dunia to find my parents and I got lost!" Now would be the time for some tears, but she had lost the ability to produce those long ago. Instead she put her hands over her face and sank to the ground, curling up into a pathetic ball of misery. It was times like these when she was grateful for her outward appearance. No one ever suspected a child of bad intentions. She just hoped that this girl wasn't so detached from humanity that she would mercilessly murder her without a thought.ooc: that's quite alright. I've been dealing with a lot of school work as of lately so I'm in no hurry ^^

Sorry it took so long. My dear Mark and I had our one year anniversary and we ended up going to a con for it than, I left my computer at home when we went to Virginia for spring break. It was fun and I loved it. Once we got home, we had finals for school. Enteisa scoffed knowing something like this happens and it was annoying to her as she looks to the girl and turned as Dragona landed on her shoulder and perched her head on her collar bone. "Just pass though. If I ever see you again, I will attack without hesitation." She warned with a tone to her voice that was cold and distant, though blunt and stern to intimidate. Another glance of those gold eyes she had could pierce the soul of anyone....if she felt like it. "Just to think. I wasted my magic and thought that you might have been a good meal for the upcoming months." It was almost the rain season and the area where Enteisa lived was by the river bank and knew that she had to change a location soon due to the high waters Her house was in a fallen tree that was over thousands of years old with a sturdy roof and held fast and it has lasted though each rain season again and again. A bit north of the river was hut made out of hides of animals, logs, and it was a shelter for the season until the floods fell back into the river and sad to say, they were getting bad where it almost looked like the marsh land of the Nati Rain forest in the Mist land. Though it was prime fishing time for Enteisa with the fish moving up stream to breed and three or four was not going to cut it when she could get a good dozen. "I want you to leave before I change my mind." She spoke again as Dragon turned her head and puffed smoke out of her nostrils.

Fern slowly lifted herself off the ground after the girl told her to pass through. She looked fierce with her red flowing hair and her eyes glowing like ember. After the mini rant was over Fern quickened her movements. The immediate danger had now passed (or so she hoped) and she didn't need to be told twice to move out. "I-I'm sorry for the trouble!" And that was all she could manage before taking off into a sprint. It was only after she had run quite awhile away from the site that she realized in the commotion she had forgotten to pick up her bag of food again. And the map which just happened to be tied to the bag. This realization brought her back to a dead stop as she began to grasp the predicament she was now in. It was either continue on and hope for the best, OR go back to the crazy witch lady and risk dieing. Option one seemed the best, but neither were very good. She thought about sitting down and thinking about the poor decisions she had just made. Perhaps she could think of a new solution? Either that or she would realize that her chances of survival were near to none. 'Okay Fern, we are not going to dwell on this lost. We have a mission, and we are going to go through with it. You can remember the map well enough, just keep heading forward and follow the river. That was the plan." She then continued forward hoping for the best.
