Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness Victor and Yumiko would exit out of the North East doors of Eldur and turn onto a dirt path that led them winding towards the wilderness. It was just the two of them, no one was there nor would anyone be there to help them should they need it, though Yumiko now knew in her heart of hearts that together, they wouldn't need anyone else's help. The scenery at first was flat, pretty with trees on either side of them, waning into forestry. The two would walk in silence. Her mind couldn't help but refocus its self on what was truly important today, her deceased parents. Little did she know though that this day had already changed her life, marked its self, for all time. 'My element is fire...' she said out of no where. 'But I am not like most elementals. It seems, it is easier for me to focus my abilities through other objects rather than say...shooting fireballs from my fingers or something. How about you?" she asked wanting to just change the tone between them a bit.

It seems, it is easier for me to focus my abilities through other objects rather than say...shooting fireballs from my fingers or something. How about you?" she asked wanting to just change the tone between them a bit. Walking along the road, and finally being out side again drastically improved his mood over all. Though he was one with the earth, there was just something wrong with being in it. Like it was reserved for the dead alone. Smelling the air as the breeze picked up he took in a large breath. She started speaking, and he was having a slight difficultly paying attention, but forced himself anyways. "Well I might have mentioned it before, but my element is Earth. And most of my abilities revolve around nature." Closing his eyes for a moment, he focused on the plant life all around them. The trees, the flowers, anything organic that was attached to the earth. With a force of will he caused each plant to bend in towards the road, like they were bowing to the two of them. Bending further than should be possible before they would snap. Releasing his will upon them the plant life resumed its natural form. "I can also sense others around us for a fair distance, but I have to meditate and focus for that to work. I also speculate that I might have other untapped powers that I just haven't come into yet."

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness Victor spoke a little about his abilities but in terms of her question...well...she guessed it got answers. She didn't see anything shooting out of his hands, he wasn't using a weapon, an object, he wasn't chanting anything audible, so that meant ... he too was tapping into energy? Was he...human? Did he carry magic in his veins? As they walked their path it would seem that the very foliage and all things organic leaned their way. Indeed it was as though they were bowing to them. It made a huge smile scatter across Yumiko's face to which she let out a giggle to. She did a single mid turn to get a panoramic view of such a thing as they walked on. "Cool!" she said in response to that neat little 'trick'. Victor spoke about being able to sense others and that he needed to meditate in order to be able to do it. He added that he felt that there also might be untapped abilities yet to be discovered. "Me too!" she jumped on her response with enthusiasm. "I mean for me...I need to focus, and for now I need to say a little mantra of sorts but the ability is in my very eye's. I can....see it! It's so cool. I am told that eventually I'll be able to do it as fluidly as wishing it to happen. For now...its hard to do. But I like...see...it looks...hm...like...a body with bone, muscle and organs removed...veins. Just veins lit up and shimmering! So strange. The distance isn't too far...BUT! I know with practice it will get stronger and I'll be able to see further." the energy with which she spoke was a 180 from the mannerism from before. It was almost as though she had forgotten that little sore spot the two of them had encountered. Looking side long at him she grinned at him and giggled. Turning her head up to the sky she kept her smile and enjoyed what light and sun was given to her. It made her skin feel warm. It felt nice. This was nice. She had almost even forgotten the incident between her and Ojiisan earlier. Maybe today was going to be a good day after all.

"I more or less use that ability to hide troops from sight during an ambush, or if I need to conceal myself for some reason." He jogged to catch up to her, glad to see her in a better mood. "That does sound like an interesting ability, it sounds like it could be useful." Picking up a large sized stone, he once again closed his eyes. This time chanting words under his breath to help him focus his elemental abilities. The stone in his hand started to shift its shape, slowly at first, but as its form became more and more defined, the quicker the process seem to take. When he was done, Victor held up a stone dagger. Flawless as though it were carved out of a piece of granite, and etched as though a master had ingrained special designs and runes upon the blade. The edge was as sharp as any metal blade. Victor extended the blade to her, flat in his hand. "This is a skill i've been trying to develop for some time. I've almost mastered it."

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness "Very useful for sure! yeah, mines useful too I suppose. I'm excited to evolve. Its why I work so hard, train so hard and put up with Ojiisan's s**t." her eye's did a double take to what he was doing now. Her eye's widened and bugged watching Victor manipulate the stone he had picked up. "Ooh!" she coo'd seeing the stone change its shape. She gasped and clapped her hands together once. "HA!" she took the dagger gently looking it over. Her finger tips trailed and traced over its delicate curves. Yumiko inspected it like inspecting a lover. She liked blades. A lot. With this blade she suddenly spun it in her hand, Fancy flips, rolls, holds and positions checking it's weight and handle. It was indeed nearly flawless. Her honey hues looked up to Victor. "....Lord Victor! Your so Cool!" she then leaped and threw herself at him in one big hug!!! "One day! One day I will master this technique too just for you!" she eased up on him and looked up into his face with a smile. Her feline eye's staring at him, the sun made her honey hues look gold. The scar across the bridge of her nose, white and more apparent now.

The way she looked at the dagger when he handed it to her caused him a pang of jealousy. Yumi's inspection was very detailed Victor noted, watching her trail her finger along the curves. It took him off guard when she started flipping it around. Her skill with the blade was amazing, like she had been handling them for years. Just as he was about to question her about it, she threw her self at him. Out of instinct he caught her, wrapping his arms around her midsection. Her cheerfulness was infectious, and caused him to smile and laugh. "I am sure you will master it. I have a feeling that you can master anything you put your mind to." When she pulled back, and looked up at him. the way the light lit up her face, it almost paralyzed him. The sheer beauty looking back at him, still in his arms, made him feel really alive. He wanted to lean forward and kiss her, every ounce of his body, and soul were aching to know what her lips felt like against his. But the small part of his reasoning refused to let him. If it were to happen, it would be on her terms, and not a moment sooner. "So, uh... Where did you learn all those fancy moves with the dagger? That's not something you just pick up and learn." He blurted out, because how else was he going to break this tension that was building up for him? Knowing full well that she would want to be released, he loosened his hold on her just enough so she could freely walk away if she wanted.

Letha Nievera The encounter in the main city was a little more distant than Letha had thought as she found her way walking from the city. Since seeing the girl disappear in the crowd there was no reason to stay in the city any longer than she had to be, besides to move on to the next area of the Vatra. Looking at the change of scenery made Letha feel both at ease from being in the city, but at the same time uncomfortable from the terrain. Fire was one thing she feared but to be near volcanoes was a little more scary to be near, with the hissing of steam coming from the cracked vents in the earth of the moving ground beneath her feet. Letha didn't make a sound as she climbed higher with her cloak clutched tightly back around her, only to take a moment to hear voices not too far in the distance of people. That was the last thing she would hear in this kind of place, however she did forget it was the nation of fire, and most likely it was a good place for fire elementals to gain strength straight from the source. Letha stood for a few seconds more to hear them talk among themselves, being careful not to be seen right away if it was something other ears didn't need to hear.

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness She was happy that he caught her! I mean...it would have been pretty bad if he hadn't! As Victor had given her his full confidence she giggled with a slightly embarrassed: 'um, thanks'. His arms had loosened and indeed she did wiggle free of the hold. Her right hand had rubbed the back of her head a moment before handing the dagger back over to him. "I have been training and still do train with my Grandpa. Ex. Samurai and all...glad someone thinks I have some talent and skill" she rolled her eye's and arched a brow as she spoke with acute disdain. "I mean...just because I am a ... a...growing girl! Doesn't mean that I still can't be efficient and surpass expected skill levels." she folded her arms to her heavy chest. "Sorry...i shouldn't be ranting." she looked way from him and to the path ahead. Yumiko noticed that the greenery was started to grow thread bare and dirt was also changing to rock. There wasn't much 'forest' on this side of Eldur after all as it was an actively volcanic mountain. "c'mon" she grumbled before pushing forwards to continue their hike.

"You being a woman doesn't mean a thing. At least not in my book. The way I see it, your sex is just a competent as mine, if not more adaptable to certain situations." Victor took the stone dagger back and laced it through his belt, before continuing to follow Yumi down the path. Victor too noticed how the greenery and plant life was thinning out. This limited some of his abilities, but it would not leave him defenseless. "Honestly if you hadn't had any plans for your future yet, I would ask if you wanted to go to the academy and receive an education in whatever topic you wished, on top of them helping you hone your skills." He had hoped that she would actually think about that option, he had the ability to pull a few strings to get her in completely free, simply based on her talent, and she would be able to do anything she ever wanted.

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness "Tch...you are the first male I have ever known to admit such a thing." she told him as they continued their way. Suddenly Yumiko stopped and spun around to stop Victor from walking. Her hand rest against his chest. She shook her head gently and chuckled. "You can't be offering me things like that Victor. You seem to forget, you still don't know me or anything about me." she said as her eye's remained to his well manicured shoes.

"That is true, though you could open yourself up to me more if you wanted to. But I don't offer it because I want to know you, or anything like that. I offer it because you have remarkable talent and I think you would benefit from it." Victor smiled kindly. "Look it is an idea that I just want you to think about. Tutition would be free, simply based on your talent alone. You can go into whatever area you wanted, learn anything you want. Even skills to better your chance at running a better shop." He reached up and grabbed her hand with his gloved one, and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Just think about it."

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness She felt the squeeze of her hand and sighed. He didn't understand. Ojiisan would never allow her to do something like that. She was committed to being a sword singers and a Miko. She knew that as it was Ojiisan was going to have himself a s**t-fit when she told him that she wanted to open up a shop of her own. Exactly how and when she was going to do that, she was uncertain. The idea of going to his academy sure did sound wonderful though. Yumiko simply shook her head and turned back around and continued to walk. A few paces in however she stopped. It was like everything flashed in negative for a moment. Her finger tips tingled as that familiar rush flooded her veins. An energy....? But...from where? Someone else was on this mountain side? Was it another member of Sword Singers? Or perhaps a journeyman on his or her way to the Shinto temple? Maybe it was neither. Maybe it was a bandit looking to rob them. "Victor..." she whispered in a hiss to him over her shoulder. "We're not alone. Should we give them a chance to show themselves? Or run ourselves a little scan?"

"Guard my back, I just need a minute." Taking a meditative posture, sitting on the ground, Victor extended his consciousness into the Earth, feeling everything. The Earth was more alive than most people give it credit, he could feel the subtle shift in the tectonic plates, the lava wanting to burst forth in the near by volcano, Yumi watching over him, and another presence that was trying to hide just up the path. Interesting, he tried to get a better feel for who it was, but they were just on the fringe of his abilities. "Up the path and to the left, there is a female." Upon opening, his eyes held a certain light, causing them to shine a brighter violet than before, as the energy from the Earth still flowed in him. "Its your call, how would you like to handle this? I can't get a feel of their intent."

Location: Phesr Mountains ~ wilderness Watching out for Victor whilst he used his ability to try and scout for who was with them only got them so far. It would seem that the person was too out of range. This meant that they would have to get closer. Victor however could confirm location and gender. "If we could get closer...I know I could figure out the rest. See...people's chi, it carries a color which is distinct to that persons race. Example. Humans have a green sort of color to them, I'd therefore know if she was human. Emotions also effect energy and with it comes patterns. I could know if the person for example was wounded. Rapid pulsing patterns usually indicate fear or anger. You know what I am saying? I am saying we need to get closer. I think we should prepare for a fight. It could be a bandit." she explained.
