Naomi: -Strumming her guitar while sitting cross-legged on a rock. Humming, she sways gently with each note.- La... La... La...
Alterio:: -perks up at the sound of music and carries his flowers on over to where he spotted the guitarist- "Do you write your own music? I'm Alterio, in case you're wondering. Would you like a flower? Mom told me I needed to get rid of some of the ones in my room...." > w>;;
Naomi: -Continues strumming and humming along until she hears the voice. Opening her eyes, she smiles at him and gladly takes the flower.- Oh, its beautiful, thank you! Its nice to meet you Alterio, I'm Naomi. And to answer your question, yes, I write my own music. My father taught me the guitar and its been a love ever since!
Alterio:: "Cool, my mother taught me all about how to tend to flowers. So I guess it's her fault they cover my room." -chuckles, wondering where to take the conversation next- "I also got my awkwardness from her..." |D
Naomi: Well that's cool! Most of my family are surfers or otherwise beach bums. -Giggles and strums another note for dramatism.- What kind of flowers do you like the best? -Pushes the flower in her hair before scooting over so he can join her on the rock.-
Alterio:: "I have to admit to never having been to the beach before." ^ w^ "Both of my mother's are gardeners at heart." -paues to ponder his favorite kind of flower- "I like orchid's a lot. Just about any purple/pink flower I loooove." /so not manly.
Naomi: -Twists her head to look at him.- You've really never been to the beach?! I practically live out there! -Astonished.- You should really go sometimes, its a lot of fun. -Thinks.- Orchids... I recognize the name, I bet they're really pretty. You should show me sometime!
Alterio:: "Well than, maybe sometime you can take me to the beach and I'll let you see my garden. I have all sorts of different flowers there. You're bond to see a few you like." <3
Naomi: I think I'd like that. -Smiles while she strums her guitar some more.- It gets kind of lonely out here sometimes when you're on your own. So what do you say we go out and find something to do? If you don't mind that is?
Alterio:: "Oh sure, yeah, I don't mind going somewhere. It's not like I have anything to do or anything." - pauses to remember if he watered the plants or not- "Yeah, I'm good to go." :'D
Naomi: Awesome! -Hops down off of her rock and flips her guitar to her back.- I know a nice coffee shop if you want to start there? -Excited about being able to get out and do things-
Alterio:: "Sure, I could use some coffee now, if we plan on spending the day together." > w< -excitedly swishing his tail, happy to have met someone new-
Naomi: -Twists to look at him and blushes.- Oh! I'm sorry! I'm not imposing, am I? I mean, I'm not ruining any plans you have? -Didn't think that she might be pushing herself on him when she didn't mean to.-
Alterio:: "Not at all! Trust me, I have nothing going on today." :'3
Naomi: Awesome! -Motions before leading the way to the coffee shop. She walks in and smiles, waving at some of the people in the back.- Sometimes I think I spend way too much time here..
Alterio:: -follows her into the coffee shop- "It's nice that you actually know the people who work here though. I don't really go to one place so often to get to know anyone." o 3o
Naomi: Yeah.... I'm kind of pathetic that way. I play here every so often. -Walks toward the counter and smiles,- Hey Anthony! Mind getting me a grasshopper and whatever my friend would like? -After saying this she motions to Alterio.-
Alterio:: "That not pathetic, if you play here it's no wonder you know them so well. I bet they all love the music you play here. You're like a celebrity! That's so cool!" -pauses as he tries to think of something to order- "Um...surprise me!" o wo
Naomi: I guess you could say that. -Blushes a bit before grabbing her drink and exchanging looks with Anthony. She giggles when he lets out a sigh and pushes the cup over.- Thanks Anthony. -Hands it Alterio, thankful Anthony made him something simple.- A blended mocha. Should be good. -She then turned and paid.- What would you like to do today?
Alterio:: "It's delicious, thank you for the drink" -sips at it some more- "Hm, I haven't been out much. I don't exactly know what all there is to do. I'll admit to being a sheltered child." x _x;;
Naomi: -Giggling, she looked at him with a smile- Well, then, what have you always wanted to do since you could remember? Anything. Just name it.
Alterio:: "Since I was little? Oh, I've always been satisfied by tending to my garden and running around with my sister! Um..." -takes a second to ponder- "I wouldn't mind seeing flowers from all over the world." * ^* /one track mind
Naomi: -Giggles more at him, though she was amused.- I think I know where to take you then! One of my housemates keeps a garden, its really pretty. I'm sure you'd like it. -Sips at her coffee and whirls around.- That is if you don't mind going all that way?
