2013 Valentines Event Story

Valentines is fast approaching and Ctrl+Alt+Durem staff and members are getting ready. Love is in the air but there's one thing not all right and well. Recently Ctrl+Alt+Durem Mod, CriimSiin, has not been acting like himself. We, D.I.B (Durem Investigation Bureau), promise to look farther into this event. Could it be a case of getting away with murder?

Today D.I.B. has interviewed Grim, the vice captain of Ctrl+Alt+Durem, about Crim's recent strain of odd behavior. He stated that it started a few days before Kaper was murdered around Halloween. As we all know by now Kaper, Captain of Ctrl+Alt+Durem, is back with us but just why did Crim murder Kaper? Some say it was to get a position as a mod of the group but doesn't murder sound a little too far? We are currently doing a full Investigation of Crim's history and days leading up to the murder. If he has anything to hide we will find it. Until then.

D.I.B has been keeping a close eye on Crim for the past 24 hours and has noticed continued odd behavior. He seems to not be feeling love or something along this nature. We have followed him from a distance until we knew where he was heading, the hideout of the Kuro Gang. What sort of plans does Crim have with Don Kuro or any of his followers? We could not follow for risk of blowing our investigation. It has been only about 30 minutes later until Crim walked out and headed toward us. We were hidden but we could get a look at his eyes, they were cold and emotionless.

We have carried out a full search of Crims past records this evening but... we have little to no records of the days leading to the murder or on the day of it. With his new position and power we came to the conclusion that Crim has taken the files to hide something but what? Valentines day is tomorrow and fellow investigators are making plans to have some parties with their loved ones. Some may wonder, what would Crim be doing on Valentines day? This concludes this entry.

It is Valentines day and a few investigators have called the day off. The rest who have stayed continue to look into Crim's past. We have come across records that indicate that Crim has sided with the Kuro Gang recently in that Gaia Halloween event with Vampires and the Kuro Gang going at it in a long hard battle. Why would Crim side with Kuro Gang when Grim and almost all of the guild sided with the Vampires? Although little was said by Crim during these times we have a feeling that Crim has been working with the Kuro Gang before all of this. We have visited Grim again today to ask a few questions of if he knew anything about Crim's past and if it is indeed tied to the Kuro Gang but he knew very little. We will continue our investigation.

D.I.B continues to follow Crim as he goes to the Kuro Gang base at a set time everyday. We have also followed his activities after he leaves the Kuro Gang base and have found he has been doing most of the jobs any follower of Don Kuro would be doing. D.I.B is planing on interviewing Don Kuro or any of his followers about Crim. When we get the details we'll try to release them. That is all for today.

D.I.B have managed to get a meeting with Don Kuro himself, this is a rare event indeed. Here are a few leaked details:

D.I.B: Don Kuro thank you for having this interview with us. We'll get right to the point, what do you know about Crim, a mod from Ctrl+Alt+Durem?

Don Kuro: Ah yes, he is very helpful. You see, he owed us some gold that he couldn't pay back. As a way to pay us back he said he would do any job or thing we asked of him.

D.I.B: And what about his odd behavior?

Don Kuro: Oh? What do you mean? He seems to be fine.

D.I.B: Please don't avoid the question.

Don Kuro: Fine, lets just say that he didn't want to do something we asked of him so we used a little short cut.

D.I.B: You are still avoiding the question!

Don Kuro: Franco, show the interviewer out please. I'm done.

The D.I.B member interviewing Don Kuro was kicked out before we could get any strong details about what Don Kuro meant by "Something Crim didn't want to do" or "Used a little short cut". We promise to look into this. Just how will Crim get back to normal?

We have received amazing news today! Early this morning someone who said they were in the Kuro Gang but has left came to us and given us a way to break the curse on Crim! We asked him what he knew and he said, "It was an awful thing they did. Crim didn't want to murder Kapes so Don Kuro put a curse on him to make him lose his emotions. I managed to get this," the person handed over a bottle of a sorf of potion, "That should get you friend Crim back to normal. After the person, who would like to be left unknown, left D.I.B called in Crim . It wasn't easy for D.I.B. to get Crim to drink that potion. He resisted, and it was a struggle, but Crim began to think of Grim, and his friends in the guild. The Kuro Gang’s curse, though heavily protected by Don Kuro himself, was no match for playful memories and bonds among friends. We all give many thanks to our mysterious tipper, for without his bravery and knowledge Crim would not be back in my arms today. D.I.B. has said they hope to uncover more information on this ex Kuro Gang member, but with ties to such a gang, it’s no wonder he decided to keep himself anonymous. We can only hope that in the future this new potential friend won’t feel so threatened.
