Found just south of the Palace . Heavily guarded by the Lunar knights, Angels may pass and go too Earth but must be back before nightfall unless trained in combat. Demons may not enter.

+~Astrid~+ Soaring through the clouds, Astrid finally came to the Outer Wall. As she reached the edge of the landing, some of the guards started saluting her. Once on "ground", Astrid closed her wings behind her and made way to a check in officer. Even though she was given free range due to her duties, she makes it a personal note to keep checking in and out. Quietly walking past the gateway guards, she made her way inside. [Exit]

David Afrien Williams Afrien yawned a bit as he landed on the landing, a short walking distance to the gates. Lately, this war between the Angels and Demons were getting annoying and they were making most of their battles happen on the earth. At this rate, many innocents are going to become involved and possibly lose their lives, therefore, Afrien had come to heaven to discuss the matter. He also knew that the angels and demons would dare start picking a fight with the dragons lest they make enemies of them because it would be end up being a two-sided war for the ones who did, he knew this was a dirty thoughtline, but it may let him get in to speak. As he was the new king, it was extremely unlikely that they either side knew he was, as it was usually only his father who went to meet the sides, and Afrien was usually out of sight when other people came. So, basically, nobody but the dragons themselves knew that Afrien was the king, it was only known that there was a new king and that the last king had died. Stretching a bit, and not even bothering to hide his massive dragonic aura, he started walking towards the gates of heaven.

+~Astrid~+ Her tired wings tucked against her back as she calmly landed once more on the edge. As she rose up to stretch her arms, Astrid noticed the "creature" once more. She paused to look at him closely and then recalled a familiar wing creature. She recalled a similar guise which was worn by an older man. Ah yes, the previous King of the Dragons had a similar human form. Now what did he name his son? ...She forgot. "King of the Dragons?" Astrid spoke up to get his attention.

Hikari Chiyu Those are L's in my username, not 1's razz David Williams Afrien stopped for a moment noticing a familiar energy from nearby and then heard his title being called and turned to see Astrid there. "Hmm.. Yes?" He asked curiously as he looked at her. He recognized her easily from what happened earlier, but she had also come a few times to the land of the dragons while his father was alive, though Afrien always stayed away during then. "Ah, just call me Afrien.. and don't tell anyone I'm the current king, you seem to be the only one who actually knows. It's more fun to see the expressions on people's faces when they do find out about me being who I am." He said to her with a light smile, keeping a completely human form with his hands in his pocket.

((Did it work?)) +~Astrid~+ Astrid smiled at Afrien's playfulness, "If you fool people, they won't seriously listen to you." She approached him but choose not to get too close, "No one knows you, and the guards might think you are lying as a demon." Astrid lightly scolded him like a mother to a naughty child. Yet there was a calmness to her words. "I understand your playful nature, your father was the same. But please consider the situation."

David Williams "No, I believe at this point everyone from here to the palace can tell that I am a dragon with all the Dragonic Aura that is pouring out from me. And it may be a playful nature, but this is easily the best way to hear honest opinions and not sugar-coated ones. Also, the last thing the Angels need is to make an enemy out of the Dragons, so I am sure they will listen." Afrien replied cheerfully as he looked to the walls of heaven. "Plus, I can easily prove myself to be a dragon, though I find remaining in my human form more convenient and less likely to step on someone by mistake." He added as he looked back at Astrid.

+~Astrid~+ She shook her head while sighing; If he continues to be like his father, she thought, he will make a good king. Astrid looked up to Afrien and let out a light laugh, "Yes, many of the young ones would not take a fancy to getting stepped on." She glanced back up at the gate, "However, to my knowledge, our Queen is not in at the moment." Astrid let her wings ruffle out to relax herself, "If you would like, I can keep you company until she returns?"

David Afrien Williams Afrien couldn't help but smirk a bit at her sigh, and nodded in agreement about the young ones. "Exactly, nobody likes being stepped on.. Ah really? Hmm.. well I wouldn't mind a tour of heaven.. I hear it's quite...heavenly.." He replied, using the worst pun one could use in such a situation with a light laugh. "After all, this is my first visit to this place, it'd be a shame to have to leave so early." He added thoughtfully as he stretched a bit.

+~Astrid~+ Astrid smiled but calmly walked forward to reach out and ruffle Afrien's hair, "Puns are the only thing you must toss aside from your father." She then turned to walk toward the nearest guard. Within speaking range, she explained that the boy would be her guest and ensured them he was no demon. As the guard turned around to begin opening the gate, Astrid looked back at Afrien and motioned for him to come close.

David Afrien Williams "Sorry, it's a habit I picked up from dad." Afrien replied with a light smile as she ruffled his hair. Usually he was rather uncomfortable around women, but Astrid was more like a mother-figure, so he had no reason to be shy, as she also knew his father. He listened as she explained to the guard about him being her guest and watched the gates soon open and followed after Astrid when she motioned for him to come to her.

+~Astrid~+ Once he was close, she spoke up, "I'm afraid I cannot take you in the palace, but the rest will be much more pleasing." Astrid turned on her heel and took two steps before realizing another point, "Make sure to stay close. As long as you are near me, no one will think you are a demon." She paused and waited for him.

David Afrien Williams "Well, I'm fine with that, but I'm still pouring out Dragonic Aura, so I'm sure they will be able to tell me apart from a demon." Afrien replied with a nod and smile as he walked up beside her and stopped. "But, I don't mind staying close, after all, Eidetic memory only works if I actually had been here before, but I haven't, so I'd rather not get lost." He added with a light nod.
