Thankfully, I never had this problem with Frodo. Now my mom's kitten, on the other hand, loves going after feet.

Kind of helps, but Roman is just an extreme, I think. I could play with him for hours and hours and hours and he's still an ankle biter.
He loves to lay across doorways so that he can get you when you go through. Such a pain.
But totally helpful website.

No, still in college until this upcoming December (hopefully), and then I'll need to find a place that will allow me to own pets and a job that will help me afford the place and Frodo's needs.

my cat does this, but doesnt really like to play with toys. we've got several toys for him, and the only one he really plays with is his catnip mouse, and i havent seen it in months, no idea where he's dragged it off to. he also likes to play with pens, but i only have one of them because he keeps losing them god knows where. i had a pack of 20 pens back in november, brand new, just opened them. i currently have ONE left x.x we play hide-and-go-seek tag together, he will jump out from under the table, bit and claw for literally half a second, then go run and hide. i go after him, it repeats. i don't actually mind the ankle-biting when i'm wearing long pants, but in the summer and stuff, it hurts. i also let him claw and bite and wrestle with my arm if i have long sleeves on.

I think a good solution is to stop your cat from using your appendages as toys. It's habit thing I think. My two current cats do not ankle bite but my previous one did. I use wrestle with him with my arm and stuff. He seem to stopped doing it in his later years as I started to use toys and not my fingers and arm.
Another cause might be displaced anger/fear from someone or something hitting or scaring your cat.

Loki is a master slipper destoryer.  He also likes tearing into pants. He doesnt hold back and its just one of the issues well have train him not to do. emotion_facepalm
