It was one of the times where Jericho was wandering around and exploring the campus on his own. Since he was taller now, getting around was also easier for himself. He was still on the shorter side, consider his current height of 5'3", but he was almost looking as a rather elven version of his draconic self. The Christmas clothing were long gone and he now likely blended in with Halloween fairly well.

He still preferred the cooler air outside though.

And today, he was wandering over by the undead dormitories. Malodore was from here, but he hadn't quite been to its room. Or in the building in general. A part of him had to wonder what it was like. Was it anything like the demon dorms?

Christof was on his way back to his room when he spotted the figure wandering in ahead of him. Was that... Jericho?

Mistress hadn't called for him, he had assumed things had been under control after their adventure and.... he did look a bit better. Not fantastic, there was a definite stench of Joyfulness about him...

He trusted Mistress's judgement.

Warily, he crept forward with proper Igor stealth, hovering before closing in. What was the guy doing wandering around like this? And being so.... short. Christof and Jericho had rarely seen eye to eye. Now, though, they were very close to it. Maybe he was looking for Malodore? He was going the wrong way, that was for sure.

Maybe he should call her, let her know her pet was loose.

There was a part of him, one that knew this was a bad idea, that this was not how he should be thinking, that insisted that now was the best time t assert his dominance. He wasn't a dragon anymore- at least not currently. There was no danger of fire, and his hunch was taller than Jericho's head... he could easily break him in two...

Instead, he stalked intensely.

Jericho was blissfully unaware that he was currently being stalked. He was too busy looking over the undead building with a sense of wonder, while trying to decide if he should go on inside. The architecture was different from the demon's to say in the least.

Reaching out, he touched the wall while peering towards the entrance. Well. There was no point in lingering around.

The elf was making his way to investigate further.

He looked like he wasn't sure where he was going. The hunchback groaned. Mistress would get displeased if the scarling-like fragment of their retrieved friend was lost or bothered the wrong zombie. Begrudgingly, he lurched from his bush, and very politely loomed up behind the elf-dragon with only his growing shadow to announce his presence.

He punctuated this with a clearing of his throat and a glower.

It was an odd sensation to glower down at someone for a change. Especially surreal considering who this, in theory, was.

Before he could reach the door, Jericho noticed a shadow on the ground. Someone was approaching him, but he didn't really pay any mind until he heard someone clear their throat. Turning around, he saw a patchwork sort of guy. At first there was a look of confusion, but then there was a faint light of recognition.

This was one of the guys he saw when he had first awakened in Christmas!

"Oh! Hello. I haven't seen you in awhile," he said with a warm smile. Though he soon furrowed his brow some, "Is...there something you need?"

His chest tightened as he was given a bright, enthusiastic response.

It had Jericho's face, even if the expression was all wrong.

Christof's stitched lips tipped from a frown to a flat line in an attempt at a friendly smile. He grunted, pointing to the elf and then to the door, brows furrowing in an unspoken question.

Earlier, Jericho hadn't really gotten a good look, but he now saw the stitched lips that the hunchback had. Who... would do that? It was a little saddening to see such a thing. He also realized that this was probably going to make communication a little tricky, since... he was no telepath like Riley. And it seemed that this guy wasn't either.

But the gestures did enough for him to have kind of an idea.

"Oh. I'm just exploring around the school. I've never been in the undead dorms before, so I figured I'd check it out. Maybe I could find out where Malodore lives too."

The hunchback stared him down for some time, mind whirring behind his haggard, eternally frustrated expression. Finally, his hand suddenly went into his jacket... but thankfully only pulled out a small notebook and pencil.

Can give tour.
Know Malodore Well.

Oh! He had some paper with him. That made things a lot easier. Peering at the notebook, Jericho soon nodded.

"I would like that. Uh.. I'm.. Jericho by the way. Though.. I think you already know that don't you?" he said while rubbing the back of his neck in the characteristic way his original self used to. A few people seemed to know him already. Or... knew a dragon like him. It was a little confusing to think about and he hadn't really been able to completely sort it out on his own.

Christof's expression shifted slightly behind his pale, oily hair.

After a moment, he scribbled down stiffly, hesitated, debating to write more, but simply turned the notebook for the little man to read.

Do you remember?

The elf slowly shook his head, noting the hesitation in the patchwork's movements.

"I... don't. Riley has told me many stories, but they feel like just that. Stories and nothing more to me."

He wore Jericho's face, but it wasn't him.

When the Igor had come to school, he had known no one. Alone, mute, subservient and terrified, he had somehow connected with people he never would have dreamed of meeting.

They had fought so much. They had grown up together, as far as the hunchback was concerned. Maybe not by Dragon years but... life before Amity felt like a daze. He liked fighting with Jericho. There were always reasons, and he could let loose, let go, get angry, and not be afraid of repercussions worse than a bit of annoyance. He couldn't hurt the massive, firey dragon. Sometimes he had wanted to. Following in footsteps, running along behind, hoping for that connection but her attentions always fell to him first. He had been so jealous.

But it didn't matter any more. She didn't remember him, the time they had, what she had done for him, erased.

Jericho didn't remember the tree. Didn't remember the Fitness Club incidents... the most fun the hunchback had felt in his short years of unlife.

He had become spoiled by Mistress's... Riley's telepathic help.

Igors should be seen but not heard.

The auction would come and it wouldn't matter any way.

He stared at the notepad, before slowly, thoughtfully writing;

We were friends.
My name is Christof.

Looking down at the written words, Jericho soon let out a sigh. As he suspected, this was another who seemed to know him. And fairly well.

"I see. I'm sorry, Christof," he said. The elf shifted his weight a little, trying to figure out how to handle this situation. He didn't understand everything going on with himself, but a few things were going on that made him wonder. Maybe he really had been a dragon. There was slowly more evidence being stocked up for that.

"But.. for what it's worth, we can still be friends. I just.. hope I don't disappoint you too much."

He was supposed to make people happy.

...Right?

Christof shifted from boot to boot a moment before pushing the door to the dormitory open and motioned for Jericho to follow.

Heaving a sigh, Jericho went on and followed Christof on into the dormitory. The written silence from the hunchback was a little disheartening, but he tried to not let that get him down too much.

"I take it you live here too?"

Patchworks were undead right?
