[JRP] [Avani'nafsi x Angavu'Nyota]

As the weeks went by Avani was getting used to this new home. It would be selfish and wrong of her to keep moping about the lost swamp for too long, when she was perfectly capable of adapting. So she was making the effort to be alright with it, and today she barely even felt the loss. She supposed it was inevitable as a new routine settled in.

Routine also included finding new spots to relax. One of the advantages of the mountains was, unlike the swamps, there was always ready access to amazing, far-away views. Focusing on the positives, Avani chose a nice rock overlooking the grasslands. It was pleasant, and she could see a fair distance, even if it wasn't entirely too far up the mountain.

Nyota was grinning like an idiot. Finally, she had found home. But now what would she do now? she had no idea how this pride functioned, other then the info the one small lioness had given her that one day. she sighed. she had guessed she would just have to figure it out for herself. finding a nice spot in the middle of the mountains, she plopped her body down and looked far away, to what, she didnt really know...

She saw the other lioness coming up to find a place to rest. At first it didn't cross Avani's mind to engage the other female, because it wasn't like she tried to greet every single lion that happened by. It was too big a pride for that! But this one looked fairly new, she had not seen the likes of her in the journey. It was curious to her how quickly things like new joining members would get back on track, after all that had happened.

In the end, Avani decided it would be good for her to chat with someone, and figured this newcomer was as good as any. With a curt sigh, she got up and made her way over.

"Hello there!"

Nyota was a bit startled by the females voice, she hadnt really expected anyone to take notice of her, she hadnt been here very long. "Oh, hello." she replied, thinking about her tone. It had sounded very far away, like Nyota was deep in thought. She shook her head mentally and decided that she should just forget about it. after all, she should be happy, this was her home now.

Initially she felt a little disheartened by the lioness' lack of enthusiasm. But it was possible Avani was feeling particularly touchy and weepy lately.

"Are you new to the Jini-misemi?"

"yeah, i am. I guess im just feeling out of place, im sure i will get used to it though" she smiled at the lioness. she really was feeling strange, she had never been in the mountains at all, let alone a pride, but Nyota guessed what she felt inside was normal.
