Naz'jak let out a soft sigh as he plodded down the beach on his second patrol of the day. Nothing ever seemed to happen, but he wasn't about to let his guard down, especially with the voodoo herd so close in the swamps. The Naga could never be sure if they wouldn't send something after Darkspine's boys, so Naz'jak erred on the side of caution and kept a wary eye out during patrols.
Stopping to inspect a tide pool, he nipped up a few small fish trapped in the pool for a snack before continuing down the beach. Almost to the end of the patrol now and soon he'd be able to return to the island, to his mate. At least he would have nothing to report to his brother, which was always a good sign of their herd's safety. Nothing ever seemed to happen.
