The tables were turned this morning. "Mom! Get up! I'm already ready to go!" he said with a bright smile.
"Honey, Dom is talking to you." Alex said, rolling over.
Kavanna opened her eyes slightly and rubbed them quickly to wake herself up a bit more. "Alright, I'm up." she said, a yawn escaping her mouth.
She went downstairs to see her mother-in-law making a nice little meal. She sat down at the table and looked up, only to see Damian with a bright smile upon his face sitting across from her. She rolled her eyes a bit and smiled.
"You sure are happy being up this early today." she said, looking at her son.
"Well of course, we're going to Aisko today. Who wouldn't be happy about seeing the great feathered dragons!?" he said happily.
Kavanna laughed. She hadn't been to Aisko in quite some time. She'd gone with Alex, her husband, a few times in the past, but never alone or with Damian. Aisko was almost a forbidden land, not many traveled there for fear of being decimated by the cold or the Aiskala dragons that roamed there. She knew what was at risk by taking her young son, but he needed to find out, but maybe seeing Aisko and trying to take down an Aiskala dragon would be a bit...much? She didn't bother thinking of the many bad things that could possibly happen, she just figured that they would go and have a good time. Though, after their Peisio dragon hunt, Naomi did tell Kavanna to take things slow with him, not to overwhelm him too quickly. She didn't seem to listen too well.
"Well, it should be fun." she said with a grand smile upon her face.
Breakfast was handed to her and with that, she was able to eat a bite before getting dressed and ready for their latest adventure into Aisko.

Hours later they had come to the continent of Aisko.
"Wow, it sure is cold here." Damian said, rubbing his arms.
"Yes, that's why I brought the jackets. See, mommy does know best, right?" she said with a giggle.
Damian nodded in agreement and snuggled up a bit in the jacket.
The two walked along the snow covered grounds of Aisko for a few minutes before happening upon an Aiskala Dragon lying in the snow. A roar sounded and another popped up, straight out of the snow. Soon, there was a flock of them, popping through the snow and glaring at the two Magescians.
Suddenly, a few of them took off into the air and a few others began to blast ice crystals at the two. "LOOK OUT!" Kavanna screamed, grabbing her son around the chest and picking up enough speed to hop and glide across the white ground.
They had to get out of there. Far too many Aiskala dragons appeared. It was horrid. They wouldn't make it out alive if they had decided to stay. Kavanna finally made it to the boat and with a large push and help from Damian as they were on the water, the boat was off in a speedy escape as the Aiskala dragons flew overhead and flapped their way back to their homeland.
"M-maybe mother doesn't always know best..." Kavanna muttered with a nervous chuckle.
"You can say that again!" Damian snarled as he whisked his arms through the air, pushing the water around the boat.
Kavanna sat and cleared her throat of the knot that was growing. "Yeah...we're not going back there for a while." she said, running her hand through her golden hair. It wouldn't happen for a long, long time.
