Those with power are called to use it. Rei appeared out of his flash step with Shingotsu at his side, waiting for Eko to show up. He kept his blade sheathed and Shingotsu present, as he was unsure whether or not any of the Shinigami in the general vicinity could feel the impending assault.

 ==== ✿ ==== Kurai kept moving through the streets, destroying buildings here and there. Whenever a shinigami cam close to him he would easily dispatch them as if they were meaningless ants. "Oh how weak you've gotten... The Seireitei will go down so Easily.... Much more easily than I would have thought.." he said, ending the sentence with a sigh as he dropped the body of a male shinigami. Kurai noticed a squad 6 insignia on one of the shinigami and he vanished from the spot. Appearing infront of the shinigami and grabbing him by the neck. Kurai's eyes scanned the man and then he stared into his eyes. "Tell me shinigami.... What do you know about the whereabouts of my Brother.... Baraku.." The male shinigami coughed and struggled for air as Kurai held him in the air. "I-I Don't know....T-the captain left....H-h-he went to the living world.." the man said. Kurai let out another sigh as he tightened his grip on the mans throat. There was a sharp snap and then mans eyes went dark. "Useless.." Kurai then threw the mans body to the side. He let out another sigh as he sealed his zanpakuto, letting himself turn back to his usual appearance. Kurai stretched his neck from right to left. "I dont even need the use of this Zanpakuto against you weak fools!" He said as he vanished from the sight of four shinigami, appearing in front of each one only for a moment. When he stopped moving he sheathed his blade. Blood sprayed behind him and he began to laugh.
Kurai soon came to a wall. He could feel the presence of two people behind it, He knew both of them from his time in the Seireitei, one he knew more than the other. Kurai held his hand out to the wall, his palm flat and pointed directly at it. "Shakkaho!" he said in a low voice. The small red ball formed and burst to life as it flew towards the wall, creating an Explosion on contact. While the dust was in the air he walked towards the hole and stepped through it. He was now looking at his two new 'hosts'. "Ah~ What a pleasurable surprise..." Kurai said, His arms outstretched as if he was going to embrace the pair. "Rei Seshiro and Eko Domini Tsurugi, My, my, my, It has been such a long time since I've seen you both~" Kurai said. At first the pair wouldn't recognize the Kuchiki since it had been a couple hundred years since he was last in the Seireitei, his voice though is similar to that of his brothers, which might have given them a Hint as to who he was. ==== ✿ ==== Location: Seireitei -> East Gate Mood: Excited Thoughts: So~ What do we have here!? Those with power are called to use it. Rei simply shrugged his shoulders at Eko's question and leaned back against the outer wall of the Seireitei. A few seconds later, however, someone blew a hole in the wall with a Kido, not ten feet from where Rei was standing. Rei bounced back a few steps and drew his sword, watching as Shingotsu came to his side and grabbed ahold of his sword. She vanished into a breeze that came from absolutely nowhere, and Rei's sword burst to life in what seemed to be a gale. At this point, he did not even need to evoke her name to enter Shikai. He waited until Eko was next to him before getting into a stance.
The man who walked through the wall seemed vaguely familiar, but it was not until he spoke that Rei placed the man's identity. His sword did not lower an inch, nor did his resolve or guard waver even a bit. "You... Kurai?! Impossible. Just... not possible. But I guess..." Rei put his hand out to Eko, asking him to wait a second. He frowned and simply ran forward at Kurai with an overhead stance, with his sword held in both hands above his head and perpendicular to his shoulders. "There's only one way to find out!" He delivered three attacks when he got within Kurai's range: A forward thrust aimed at his shoulder delivered from the aforementioned stance, followed by a sidestep that he used to launch a one handed swing in a full-circle motion with his left hand aimed at Kurai's right shoulder; and finally, as the circular cut reached back around to the ground, about a 270 degree rotation from the thrust's initial location, Rei stuck the blade down into the ground and pulled himself back and up with it. He tried to kick Kurai with his right foot before bouncing back and pulling his sword with him.
His attacks were likely blocked quite easily, but it was just Rei's way of testing whether or not this person was who he thought it was.He remembered the Zanpakuto of this man quite well, since it was the opposite of his own. But then Rei felt it, and his attention wavered for just a second as he looked west, feeling Gato's Bankai end and all of the winds in the area return. Kurai would inevitably notice and take advantage of the opening in order to attack Rei before he landed.

==== ✿ ==== Kurai gave a smile under his mask as Rei figured out who he was. Or well, He took a Guess as to who he was. Kurai stood straight as Rei ran towards him, The first strike was simple enough to avoid Kurai stood to the opposite direction of Rei's first strike, using the motion to spin and avoid the second strike. The third Kurai had to jump back, flipping backwards and using his hand to push himself from the ground and onto his feet again. Kurai then stared at his old friends. "My, My Rei, From your level of Reiatsu you've grown in strength~" He said to Rei. Kurai then noticed that Rei seemed distracted, He could feel it too. The wind had returned which signaled that the pathetic excuse for a head captain had sealed his Bankai. Kurai took this time to appear behind Rei. "Ah, You're worried about the Head Captain?...Don't worry that stupid old kitty cat won't be around for much longer... That is, If he can't manage to Defeat them!" He said into Rei's ear. Kurai then moved back and pointed the tip of his right hand's index finger at Rei. "It was nice meeting you again Rei...." Kurai spoke, the slight rise in his own spiritual pressure would give Rei a moment to notice the incoming attack. "Sōkatsui" He announced in a low cold and emotionless tone. The tips of his fingers sparking with blue electrical energy for a moment before they fired off a large lightning bolt like attack.
Kurai didn't even bother to wait and see if his attack hit the Lieutenant or not, He just simply moved and appeared near Eko. "So, Are you convinced that I am Kurai?" He said, his cold eyes staring at Eko. His eyes were so much different from the person they once knew. The fire that once burned in them was gone, the Loyalty he had held towards his clan and the seireitei had gone. Now the only thing that filled them were Hatred and Bloodlust. Kurai cocked his head to the right as some more shinigami turned up. "Excuse me for one moment~" He said, bringing up one of his hands and showing his index finger to show what he meant. Kurai Vanished, Zanpakuto drawn. He appeared in front of them and sighed. "Didn't your mothers teach you not to interupt the grown ups while they're talking?~" he said to them, but he didnt even give them time to reply, He just started to hack away at them with his Zanpakuto, Locking blades with one, sparks flying. "Good night~" He said as he thrust his free hand forward, a small red ball forming and exploding when it hit the female shinigami in the chest. Blood rained down on Kurai and he began to laugh crazily. He turned back to Eko, his Zanpakuto pointing to the ground and his left hand smoking and blackened from the blast. "Now... Where were we?" he said in a cheerful tone of voice.

Those with power are called to use it. Rei knew his attacks wouldn't land; he hadn't intended them to. They were meant to make him draw his sword. If he could see the blade, he could confirm who it was. He did not expect Kurai to vanish and attack him with a point blank Sokatsui, however... He moved his hand so that his knuckles, with the blade in his grasp, pointed directly down. "Sussu Wakki! Repulsing Gale!" The two techniques in collaboration resulted in Rei getting significant lift into the air. He didn't get away scot free, but he avoided any significant damage.
He leveled out about twenty feet into the air, the ends of his pants smoking and a small burn on his arm. He spoke lowly to himself and Shingotsu, "Piercing Blow..." He felt the winds on his sword start spinning at almost insane speeds, building power and energy quickly. Soon, he would attack with enough force to kill Kurai before he released his Shikai, with any luck. If Kurai released his blade, it would be a clash of sky and stone that could drag on for some time... Eko's powers taken into consideration of course, it would be much easier than a solo bout.

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ "I forget nothing." Eko said, his voice gazing at Kurai, his eyes narrow. "You still seem to be the arrogant kid that I knew from before. Always wanting to fight Rei...or me...and every time I would deny you that." His hand reached towards his Zanpakutos, the three blades glistening and spitting electricity at the coming combat that was to ensue. The blades that had never been drawn in the public eye in over hundreds of years, knew that their time to show was at hand. And I'm not even released yet. Eko thought, not even refferring to Bankai or Shikai. Rei knew...there were still two seals on the blades to break...Shingotsu would have informed him...but the first was broken. The blade that held his physical capabilities at bay. "And during your time with these Watchers, you have watched us...but you still have nothing on me. You still have nothing on my abilities. For some reason...I knew that you were watching Kurai as well as the others. Maybe you told them about me, or at least what you knew. That I was simply a cold b*****d." His own eyes were different than what Kurai would have known...a blaze of inferno was behind Eko's eyes.
"Rei." Eko said out loud, his eyes dark, ignoring the fact that Gato had released...he really didn't care, "Whether you'd like me to fight or you, or even we dual face him...I care not." His right hand reached for his first Zanpakuto, Masamune...the first blade that was unsealed. As soon as the blade began to leave the sheathe, the entire area pulsed, the shadows of Kurai and Rei twitching and spasming. Eko's wings fully appeared, as well as his tail, the shadows about him branching towards his own in eagerness, as if he were a magnet. "You can stop killing those that are too weak to fend for themselves...starting now." ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

 ==== ✿ ==== Energy from the Kido behind him dissipated and Kurai could tell that Rei had just about avoided it. "Oh joy~ You survived~" He said, his eyes still locked on Eko. Kurai flexed his left hand and held it infront of him, inspecting the Damage that was caused to it from the kido he used on the woman. He opened and closed his hand, assessing the damage that was dealt to it. "It'll be fine..." he said as his gaze went back to Eko. " You knew nothing of me, You only knew what I wanted you to see." he said as slowly walked forward, the tip of his blade scraping off the ground, creating several sparks. He laughed when Eko began speaking about the Watchers. "Me? Tell them about you? don't flatter yourself. They didnt want to know about you, or any of the other Lieutenants....." He stopped walking now and threw his hand out to the side. "They could easily kill you.... Crush you so easily.... Go ahead, Feel it, Your Captain Commander is No longer in Battle and My allies, Omekata has fallen, Dead.? and now? They're on to their next two Captains!...and guess who's next to Die Rei~..." his injured hand now balled into a fist and a smile spreading under his mask. "The Captains were who they wanted to know about....and I gave them everything I knew about them.... all except for one... My brother!" His hand was now down by his side. Kurai looked down at the ground. "The only person I resented the most... There was no way I would tell them about him, 'cause it'll be me who Kills him!" He shouted and then started to break out laughing, his hand now at his face, covering his eye as he laughed. Kurai stopped laughing and turned his head, he looked directly at Rei and smiled under his mask. "If you want to fight, then lets fight!" he growled.
holding his Zanpakuto tightly to the side Kurai began to let his spiritual pressure leak out. "Crush, Tear, Crumble and Break....Chikyū no akuma!" he growled. There was a slight burst of reiatsu that unsettled the dust in the area, which then began to draw it all towards him. His zanpakuto started to crumble and join the now towering spiral of sand, dust and stone. The ground below him began to crack and break away, large chunks ripping from the ground and began to float in mid air. The large spiral dissipated and Kurai flexed his fingers. "So.... Shall we get started!?" He said, vanishing from the spot and appearing in the air. Kurai lifted his arms up and boulders and rocks, pieces of the walls even, started to fly towards him, circling him until he thrust each arm at both men. The large boulders Hurled themselves at both Rei and Eko. Kurai Figured it would be best to attack Rei since he was in the air, try and drive him to the ground, his turf. "I'll take you both on, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!" He shouted before Vanishing, appearing on one of the many floating boulders that hadnt been hurled. Kurai jumped from the boulder and aimed his right hand at it. "Sajō Sabaku!" He shouted, closing his hand into a fist. A lang golden chain sprouted from his hand and bound itself around the Boulder. Kurai then used this as a sort of makeshift Mace. Below him was Rei, the attack he sent forth at first should have reached him by now so he tightened his grip on the chain and swung the large boulder towards the Lieutenant.

Those with power are called to use it. As Kurai released his power after talking and trying to throw Rei off by discreetly mentioning that a certain someone he knew would be the next to die, Rei just kept drawing wind and energy into his attack. This was something he had learned to do only recently, and as such, even the observers wouldn't be well informed on it's power. He was concerned about Jasmine, yes. And Jisaku ad Gato, of course. He would check in on Omekata's health later, hoping she could be saved... but for now... Rei had to focus on his own fight, and trust that everyone else could handle themselves. His attack was close to full power now... just a few more seconds and he could attack with full force...
And then Kurai started throwing around chunks of rocks and boulders from his position on the ground, aiming to bring Rei to the ground. He had battled Kurai enough times in the past to know Kurai's tricks when he saw them. But even his diversionary attacks could break bones quite easily. So Rei moved off to the side as fast as he could, using the largest stone thrown towards him like a stepping point to kick off and gain distance. Even though Rei had a good deal of speed, his kick only just barely allowed him to dodge the mace-like technique that Kurai used. In fact, it even grazed the bottom of his sandals, taking about 1/8 of an inch of the shoes. He bounced back a couple of feet in the air before bounding forwards towards where Kurai swung from. He was aware that such a straightforward attack, no matter how powerful it was, wasn't likely to land. Being on the advantageous end of a 2-1 fight, however, was quite useful. "Piercing Blow - Full Circle!" He fired a massive, rapidly spinning front of condensed and pressurized wind and spiritual energy from about ten feet away. The cone was no wider than Rei's height at it's widest, and as narrow as a needle-point at it's smallest. It would act like a powerful spear or lance if it struck, with the added damage of the rotation tearing and ripping into whatever it struck. It was aimed up at Kurai's chest, just up to the left: on the opposite side of his chest where his heart would be. It had speed similar to a Byakurai, and had enough power to pierce something as strong as a Danku.
Whether or not his attack succeeded, Rei stood where he was, holding up his sword and looking at it with some mild interest. His attention was still on Kurai, even though it didn't seem like it to most. He was reading all of the wind in the area, waiting for Kurai to make a move. Something as small as moving a finger would be registered in Rei's senses. "Well you see... I've learned quite a few new tricks since we met, Kurai, one of which was how to charge up my Piercing Blow in order to deliver attacks like that one. And in all honesty, I'm glad Gato isn't using his Bankai right now. When he's fighting in that form, my power becomes limited significantly, as does that of any other wind user in about fifteen miles of him. So really... that's a bonus to me!" Shingotsu snickered and laughed a little, speaking into Rei's mind directly, Yeah... and you can quit worrying about at least one person for a few minutes... hehehehe...

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ Eko only narrowed his eyes, his hands moving away from his Zanpakutos. He planted his foot and immediately shot away. HIs speed was great as he immediately began shooting at Kurai, his fingers releasing bullet like shots of electricity and shadow. If they struck his foe, they would certainly hurt as they exploded on contact, the explosion being like a paintball hitting the surface of the skin but however, the effect of the electricity would be painful. Eko felt no need to really turn to Shikai yet, Rei was doing so and Eko deemed that to be enough unless necessary. He simply kept shooting, almost floating in the wind from side to side as his wings kept him aloft, his fingers releasing shot after shot at Kurai to keep him occupied. Simply, Eko felt to keep hi spower low while Rei was increasing hi sown, unlesss absolutely neccessary. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

==== ✿ ==== Kurai smiled when Rei dodged the flying rocks and his Mace attack. "Very good, it seems you do remember~" He said as Rei readied his own attack. The cone of air that was shooting towards him was coming at such a speed Kurai knew he wouldnt be able to avoid it. Instead with a flick of his wrist rocks and boulders flew to him and created a barrier. The attack from Eko hit the barrier along with the attack from Rei, wearing away at the stone. within seconds Rei's attack made it through the barrier, It was weakened slightly but not by Much. Kurai moved to the left as quickly as he could, his arm in the air. The attack made contact with the side of Kurai's chest, ripping through his clothing and skin, luckily the bone had not been hit. He didnt make a sound as the attack passed him, he just simply placed his hand over the wound. "So, I guess I shouldn't take you guys so Lightly..." He said as whatever was left of the barrier fell to the ground. Kurai chuckled slighty as he moved his hand away from the wound. Blood flowing freely from it, rushing down his body and dripping to the ground below.
Without warning Kurai let himself fall towards the ground at a great speed. When he hit the ground it shook ever so slightly and cracked. He took a deep breath and all of the rocks that were floating around began exploding and turning into sand. The sand in turn rushed towards Kurai and swirled around him. "Guess, I'll need a little bit of cover" He said as the sand then blew all over, creating a sort of Sandstorm. Instead of wind though the sand was floating on Kurai's own Reiatsu. "This should make things interesting..." he said, The fact that the sand was mixxed with his own Reiatsu would make it difficult for the pair to try and pinpoint Kurai, the only way to find him would be by line of sight. It would also be hard for Rei to repel the sand, as it would ack like a magnet, coming back to the field of kurais Reiatsu.
Kurai clapped his hands together "Bakudō #62. Hyapporankan!" He spoke, a glowing blue rod forming as he parted his hands. He took hold of the rod in his right hand. Because of his manipulation of the earth he could just about tell where Eko was, Since Rei was in the air, it was much harder. Kurai threw the rod in Eko's general direction. The rod in turn splitting into a hundred or so others.
