Mbari was used to this feeling. Butterflies in the bottom of his stomach, the occasional churning, and a shortness of breath that came on in a sudden flutter. However, he was used to experiencing this for a completely different reason. Nerves, whilst still there, were hidden under a layer of feeling so positive, that he almost failed to notice them.
He had opened up to someone, for the first time in such a long long time. He had done it, and they had been kind. The grief over losing his father had caused him to loosen up a little bit, if only temporary. Tsukiko's calm nature had only aided that, and he was anxious to see her again.

Tsukiko was feeling in many ways, the same as Mbari. But she also dealt with it rather differently, as she was wont to do.
Her own attraction for the male was intriguing to her. She wanted to be around him even more than she wanted to chat with Suramuni, quite a feat. She was very fond of a god whom she could have such delightful discussions with! And yet Tsukiko found she didn't want to be around Mbari because of some great ability to debate and ponder.
Unable to reasonably explain why she wanted to be around him, she was simply inclined to accept it as it was. For once, Tsukiko didn't try too hard to explain her feelings. She'd let them be.
So she was actually thinking idly about flight even as she felt a little giddy, walking towards where she figured she might find Mbari. Today was bound to be a good day!

He could see her dark blue form clearly against the golden floor of his homeland. Tsukiko didn't know it, but Mbari also felt elevated. Over the moon, among the clouds.. There were several figures of speech he had heard for what he was experiencing. He guessed that the lioness he was so fond of had many of her own, too.
He paced up and down nervously a few times before his stomach filled with butterflies and he approached Tsukiko.
"Tsukiko." He almost sighed her name as he walked to greet her.
