One of the great things about Meteorite's Cradle was that it was so near many different environments. About one third of it was bordered by a the ocean and a bay. So those in the city did not need to go far to enjoy what the sea had to offer. And now that the weather was starting to warm up a bit promising an early spring more people were venturing to the sands during the day. A young Spinerak was no exception. She had been given the afternoon off from her work at Catch 'Em All. And the curious but super shy little spider like pokemon thought that she would go someplace she had never been to before. So here she was now walking along the bright sands near the rolling waves.

It was an amazing sight to see if you had never seen such a thing. It was even amazing to see if you had seen it all the time. Each time one visited the sea it seemed like there was something new to see. The way the waves crashed. in different ways bringing different treasures up from the shallows and the depths.

Mariette scuttled along the sand her light body keeping her from sinking in to it too deeply. She wandered around looking for any hidden treasures the tide had uncovered or brought up. So far she was only finding bits of broken shell or smooth plain rocks. She had not found anything really note worthy yet in her short walk. And now that the waves seemed to be fairly gentle she risked moving a bit closer to them.
