There had been a ghost standing at Junko's door for the last fifteen minutes. Just standing there, staring ahead, expression slightly pained. He wasn't standing out there for lack of an invitation. He had one, making certian the ghoul was in, before having made the walk over, but he had yet to work up the nerve to knock. It wasn't that he didn't want to see her, he did. He always did. it was that he knew she wasn't going to be exactly thrilled about what he had to talk to her about. He'd planned a trip. A two week long trip. He was going to be heading back to his parent's house in a weeks time. It was all already arranged, he'd just not yet mentioned it to his ghoulfriend... Not without good reason, mind. After having shut himself away and played anti-social for the better part of the year, he was sure she wasn't going to see this little trip in a postive light. She was already cross with him, and honestly, the last thing he wanted to do was make her any more angry, but this was important. Seiji was heading back home to ask his parent's for an heirloom. A ring that had belonged to his mother, that had been passed around throughout the whole of his family(not that he knew most of them...). After endless sleepless nights of planning, a few dozen fits of nerves, and one near panic attack, the ghost had come to the conclusion that Junko belonged in his life, and it was high time he showed her just how much he meant to her, and found out how she felt in return. Jack, he was terrified... But that fateful encounter was still a little ways in the future. For now, one problem at a time. Rounding his shoulders, Seiji lifted a hand and knocked.

Seiji hadn't given Junko a time when he would be stopping by, having simply asked where she was, if she was busy and if he could see her. She'd answered, though she'd been skeptical. Seiji had become a lot less outgoing while she was doing the exact opposite, she was worried he might become a complete shut in again. Could she handle it if he did? She distracted herself from worry with sewing, working on a few dresses she had promised Riley. The mindflayer had said they could take care of it later but she was feeling inspired. She wanted these to stand out, to be beautiful and for people to ask Riley where she got them so she could go 'oh I got them from my super awesome friend Junko' 'give me her number please' 'no problem here you go give her all your business'.
That would be awesome.
When the door finally opened she couldn't exactly answer right away, holding the dull ends of several pins and needles between her lips.
"COME IIIIIN Junko's mouth is busy she can't come to the door right now!" The Mistress shouted loudly, not caring who heard what She was saying or if they completely misinterpreted Her words.
Junko looked mortified, still clinging to the dress she was working on and just staring at the door. She was going to kill The Mistress one day.

Seiji had been expecting an answer, but not one from The Mistress, and certainly not anything like that. He stood for a moment frozen in the doorway, hand still on the doorknob, and his brows raised dangerously close to his hairline. "Excuse me?" He sounded surprised, and amused, and there was something dark glittering in the depths of those red eyes when he grinned down at the ghoul and her sewing. "Is that so? Should I be worried?" His teasing would only go so far. She already looked completely mortified, and cute as she might have been in such a state, she simply couldn't bring himself to cross the line between playful banter and full on mocking. Crossing the room, he bent to lay a kiss on the ghoul's forehead, the safest place, considering the pins, ten took a seat on her bed, lounging back against the pillows. "So who's that one for?" Clearly he meant the dress she was working at. It was pretty, but then everything Junko made was impressive. She had more skill with a needle and thread then then most of their classmates had in their entire bodies. Or at least in his humble opinion. Certainly she was more talented then him.

Oh good! It was Seiji! Junko was plucking needles and pins from her lips to stick them in her voodoo doll-shaped pin cushion as he entered, shaking her head at the boil's question. "Mm-mm!" She answered, meaning no. Of course he shouldn't be worried! That'd be silly! She was sticking the last needle through the doll's heart when Seiji asked who the dress was for, giving a bright smile as she put the doll aside and stood with the dress. "Riley. I promised to make more dresses for her to replace the large chunk of wardrobe that she tossed out in disgust." All those turtlenecks. The turtlenecks had been used to make new clothes for her minipets. A few of her long-haired Tangles minipets were sporting dresses made from the turtlenecks. "This'll be my last free commission. After this I have to start charging. If Lizzy and I want to building up a company I can't just keep giving it out for free all the time, right? I do have some coats for a tiny little demon lined up. With expensive furs." Her eyes practically lit up with delight. She didn't work with fur often, so to do so was pretty exciting for the ghoul. "What's up~? Are we going somewhere today?" Junko asked as she carefully put the dress on an unused dress form alongside a few other dresses in progress, crossing the room after to flop down and sit beside Seiji with a little bounce.

He stuck his tongue out at her, grinning before adjusting himself to make room for her beside him. A strong arm automatically draping itself over her legs. "Riley's lucky to have a friend like you." Not only talented, but generous. He was glad she wasn't going to be taking on anymore projects for free. Sweet as she was, she was too talented to just be giving her work away. "This sounds weird, but I'm glad this'll be the end of the freebies." He wrinkled his nose, red eyes rolling to direct his gaze towards the ceiling. "Not that I don't think it's awesome that you love to help out your friends." He frowned, worried that he was digging himself into a hole, despite the positive nature of his words. "You know what I mean." His attention snapped back down to his ghoulfriend as she inquired if he were going somewhere, and for a second or two he could only stare at her. How the devil had she found out?! But no.. There was no way. He hand't told anyone what he was planning.. "Not today," he admitted, though there was something to his voice that suggested he were leaving something out. Not that she'd have to wait long to hear the rest. He moved, sitting up so he was sitting behind her, long legs to either side of her. "Promise you won't get mad." He placed a cool hand on either of her arms, thumbs trailing along her skin. Of course with that beginning, he'd pretty much already shot himself in the foot.

Junko wasn't that good, it was wishful thinking that brought her to ask what she had. They used to go out so much together, she missed it. His stare could mean two things: either he did have a plan and had wanted to surprise her and she just ruined it, or he was surprised by her question. "Oh..okay." She sounded disappointed. She wanted to go on dates again, to go places with her boilfriend. She'd been so busy with student council things she had barely had time for him, and when she wasn't doing that she was working on her cooking for Ginger or hanging out with Lizzy to work on establishing their business idea. Going somewhere while things were quiet would be nice. The request for a promise got Seiji a suspicious look, eyes narrowed slightly and lips pursed. "Whhhhyyyyy?" He wouldn't say that unless he was about to do something she wasn't going to like, and he knew she wouldn't like it.

Ugh, that disappointment! It made the Ghost boil's heart hurt, and he used that arm across her lap to tug her a little closer to him. Not quite a hug, but the intent was there. Really, come to think of it, there was no reason they could do something later, he'd just not thought ahead enough to plan anything. Considering he fully expected her to be mad at him, he hadn't been hopeful enough to think she'd still be interested in going somewhere after he told her his news. "Well, we'll see. It's still early," he amended, features gone thoughtful as that suspicious look was sent his way. Yeah, he wasn't going to make any assumptions of her wanting to share his company tonight. There was an uneasy tightness to the ghost's shoulders, and he shifted, then sat up so he could curl his arms around the ghoul from behind. "Because I love you, and you need to trust me?" His cheek was cold where it rested against the warmth of her own much softer one. He always loves the feel of her skin. Incredibly soft, intoxicatingly warm.. Strong arms tightened around the ghoul until there was precious little wiggle room. Not uncomfortable, but firm enough to show she wasn't going anywhere. At least that was the illusion. "At the end of the week I'll be heading to my parent's for two weeks. I know it's sudden, and I'm sorry about that." His thoughts flicked back to Yaya and Sharra, and he hoped to Jack the ghoul in his arms knew him better then to think he'd hide away like that.

"I do trust you, I meant why am I going to be mad." She'd promise if she had to but she just had that dreading feeling she really wasn't going to be happy with what he had to say. Junko closed her eyes and turned her face into Seiji's cheek as it was pressed against her. He held her tighter and tighter... Okay now she was getting nervous. He has holding her back and telling her now to be angry. What was he up to? What did he want? Did he think she was going to attack him whenever he told her what it was he wanted to do? Her hair have away her facade of calm, writhing and curling in agitation. What was he doing? Has he already done it? What was it?! When he finally told her what his plan was it all stopped, and the tension in her body left her as she sighed with relief and smiled. "Is that all? Jack, don't scare me like that." She giggled, shaking her head and lifting it away from Seiji. "Is everything okay?"

He'd been watching her hair writhing around him with some trepidation, and actually flinched when it all fell limp. Her tone caught him by surprise, and he blinked down at her. "Yeah, that's all.. " He frowned, arms loosening around her a little. "I thought you'd be upset." His hands traced down Junko's arms until he could slid his fingers between her's. "Everythings fine. I haven't seen my folks in a bit, and there was something I wanted to talk to my mom about." If she wanted specifics he was going to have to do some pretty quick thinking. He hadn't really thought up a good cover for the trip home. Hopefully he wouldn't need one. She'd taken things a lot better then expected. "I didn't mean to scare you," though he can see how his behavior could have made her nervous. "Thank you for understanding." Hands still holding her's, he wrapped both sets of arms around her and hugged.

"Really? That's silly. I'd have been upset if you were like...dropping out, but I'm not going to be upset if you want to go visit your patents. Tell them hi for me~." Junko liked his mother and father, they were kind and welcoming and genuinely cared about their son. They were a heck of a lot nicer than her parents. Junko gave Seiji's hands a squeeze when he held hers, leaning back against him as he explained his reasoning. Perfectly reasonable! Why did he think she would be so upset? "That's fine. Thank you for telling me! Just two weeks, right?" Perfectly fine. Students left to see their families all the time! "Apology accepted~." Junko giggled and tilted her head back against Seiji's shoulder. "Of course. I can occupy myself for two weeks. It's nice to have some quiet time right now."

Well, that was certainly a big relief. Of course faced with that logic, the ghost had to wonder why he'd been so worried in the first place. Even thinking about it, it was hard to reason out. No matter though, it was all irrelevant. "Of course I'll say Hi for you, and yes, just two weeks." hell, maybe less. But two weeks was the max. He brought one of her hands up at lay a cool kiss against the back of it. "I'm sure you'll keep yourself occupied. I know you and Lizzy are working on the plans for the ship you want to open together." It added to his relief that his ghoulfriend had plenty of things on her plate to keep her busy while he was away. Acceptable or not, he would have felt bad if he'd left here at school, and she'd had nothing to do. "So I thought that talk was going to take a while, but since it didn't, how about we go grab something to eat?" They could go out, make a night of things, maybe even pick out a movie to watch curled up in his worn in old reclining chair.

Oh Seiji, ye of little faith. Junko perked up when he offered to take her somewhere. "Okay! Let me just get changed, okay?" She was in what she considered 'be lazy and work all day' clothes. Lately Junko had become more interested in looking nicer and nicer out in public regardless of what she was doing; it wasn't something she would have concerned herself with before, but over the past few months her wardrobe had almost completely evolved from the influences of her friends around her. "Where do you want to go?" Junko asked as she untangled herself from Seiji's arms and made her way across the room to her closet.
