Zephyros stared out a large window from his dorm. The rain was pouring hard, thunder boomed angrily. Normally at this time of day he would be outside. Flying with his large and magnificent wings. But it didn't seem like the weather will be lightening up any time soon. With a sigh, Zephyros trudges over to the piles of leaves on the floor, they're quite big honestly. A collection he brought over from his home, but they're beginning to rotten. Not enough to the point that they smell, but still. The point that there are rotten leaves on the floor are beginning to gross Zephyros out.
"Hey..."
His feathery ears twitch at the sound. What was that? he didn't say anything did he? No. That's impossible. With a shrug of his shoulders Zephyros begins to remove the more rotten leaves from the pile so that it may be more comfortable to sleep on. Instead of moping around from the rain, he might as well get some well deserved sleep. For the past few night he's been having strange reoccurring nightmares. There was this place... completely white. There were people standing around-- almost familiar to him. Yet he knows that he's never met them before. Not a single one of them he should recognize, and yet he knew each of their names.
"Wilson...Ryan... Roch... Dakota... Vanya... Pokerus... Mitsu... Amalie... Kat... Lumikki... Bix..."
His head jerks up from the pile of leaves to look around for the voice. It was definitely his, and he knows he's not saying the names allowed, because while the names are being said Zephyros reaches up to his lips and feels the lack of movement. There's something strange going on, and he;'s not quite sure what it is. Suddenly a crack of lighting strikes down and causes the boy to jerk. A loud boom of thunder accompanies that lightning.. and there it was.
A man is standing in front of him. His face was exactly the same of Zephyros' and yet the man is wearing a strange attire. The clothes look too constricting for his tastes. Seeing the expression on Zephy's face, the man chuckles and rolls his eyes. The white clothes on his body melt down to more of a plain brown attire. All of the feathers molt off his body and he now looks completely strange. Almost like a reaper, there's nothing fantastic about the boy in front of him other than the fact that they share the same features.
" Who are... "
" Zephyros. We are both Zephyros."
" What no--"
" Yes, Wind of the west. I am a mirror version of yourself. A Copy. A fragment" The man's hands and arms spread out around him and suddenly the entire room melts around them ad becomes the same kingdom that Zephyros had been dreaming of.
" This is where I belong.. but it has been destroyed by an unforeseen force. I am here to give you the memories that belong to us both. This belong to you too, because it's.. well I hope that you will take it as part of you. I would. And Since we are the same, I know you will too. " He turns to see bow down in front of a familiar looking man. Zephyros knows who that is.. it's.. Wilson? Yes. It's Wilson.
Overwhelming gaseous air fills the entire room before dissolving into a pure white area. The impersonator is still bent down in front of him. Standing up, he smiles sadly and looks up at the sky which is cracking and breaking before them. " He was our king. But he also exists in your world as something different. You should find him. Go ask him.. go ask him-- " The impersonator fades into static before quickly reappearing on another side of the area. He's holding the wall now and smiling at it.
An image of a few people appear. They seem to be bickering over something. Zephyros runs over to the area to hear them--- and he sees the man joining in on the bickering. But the words are nothing but gibberish, he can't quite understand what's going on. The impersonator turns around looking as he did when he first appeared in the white garb. "There are somethings that I wish could have been changed. Maybe if they didn't die everything would have been different. No, no. The voice would have made sure they died." His warm smile turns into a blank expression before he fades out into static and reappears in a different spot. He looks like a peasant once more.
But in front of him there's a man he hasn't seen before. A Dark skinned, ordinarily looking man. They're holding each other with such passion Zephyros had to look away. He knew that he shouldn't be looking. That wasn't for him-- but his head forcefully turns back to look. the dark-skinned man is slowly disappearing. Zephyros' hand reaches out-- both of their hands do. They both scream out. " Sinclair." And then the world shatters.
Zephyros falls, he screams and falls.
It seems almsot like forever before he falls on top of a pile of leaves-- it's his room again. Back to the way it was before. his eyes bulge as he stands up and looks around-- but there he is. the man again.
" I don't have much time. Let me explain-- I am a fragment of another world which I existed in. It was destroyed in a game of chess between seven kingdoms. Everyone I- you-- we encountered exists in the world you live in. You should find them and discuss this with them. ask them-- for me-- why everything needed to be destroyed. Why were we given hope, only to have it taken away over and over again? " He begins fading into static again as he explains this. " And please.. go.. find... Sin..."
But before he could finish, everything goes black. There is nothing. No sounds of rain. No sounds of breathing. Nothing at all.
Until he wakes up to sunlight beaming down on his eyes. Zephyros shifts, he feels weak. His entire body feels as if he went through months--- years--- of fighting. And then he remembered the dream. Nothing was explained, and yet everything was. he has to go find Wilson-- the King. Ask him what that was about. If he is real, that is.. But maybe it wasn't. Maybe everything was just a dream and Zephyros was going crazy.
He lets out a hysterical laugh and holds his head. But then a face flashes before his eyes. And then he knew that everything did happen.
" Sinclair."
