Gardina and Uller, I greet you on your trip to a secluded beach!
But something seems to have happened to your peaceful evening. Unfortunately, our simulator did not account for the rising tide and you have found yourself in the midst of high tide.

Uller was unsure of what had even happened. Here he was on a beach, perhaps the worst place for one of his...type to be. It was rather lovely though, he had to admit, and his new companion was certainly quite lovely. But that had been before the ocean swallowed up half the beach. He glanced over to his winged companion, wondering what she was thinking of this. Well....Make the best of it? "Are you hungry, darling?" He asked, voice as smoothe as a fresh snowfall on a mountain. "I brought a picnic basket...We can overcome this, can't we?" There was a slight twinkle in his eye.

Once the shock wore off, Gardina looked around her. Her date seemed to be just fine, which was than what could be said about the beach. "I could eat."She smiled walking up to him, careful not to trip on the rubble washed ashore, as she waddled through the water. "Perhaps find somewhere more dry? In the shade?"

Uller chuckled, watching her wade so carefully through the water. He had already gotten on to dry land as soon as he could, not wanting to cause any bit of shock to the fish swimming around. "How about over there?" He glanced over to a tree that too was somewhere dry, just barely. Frosty air appeared for a moment as he exhaled, though the warmer weather made it quick to disappear. The trio of friends, his birds, had already fluttered over to said tree, except for the particularly fat one, Puff, who found it easier to sit on Uller's ear rather than barely manage to hover above the flooded ground. Batbird was stealthily hidden in the branches, though Huff was making it a point to chirp at him, unhappy to be left alone. - quote taken out-

Gardina looked over at the tree. It had a nice shade beneath it, and some grass was popping up through the sand. "Sounds perfect."She smiled comforting at him, slightly worried of how the bright sun might wear the poor fellow down. "Your little friends sure seem to be enjoying themselves."Gardina giggled lightly, waddling over to the spot by the tree. It was quite romantic, with the sea so close and the birds chirping. Though it all happened so suddenly, it now looked like a long lost paradise.

Uller sauntered over beside her, staying on as dry land as he could. It was nice, not like home, but certainly nice, regardless of the tide. The battling of the two much thinner birds was amusing, though the two stopped the moment Batbird swooped down, giving a peck on Huff's head before fluttering back up. Huff paused, for a moment, before riling up a whole new string of complaints, fluttering up after his assailant. "Sometimes. It seems they're having an argument. The usual, you know..." He laughed, sitting down with the basket in tow. "But you've got to make the most of it...Just like today, though the tide isn't much of a bother for us, now is it?"

The three little ones were quite amusing to watch. Like lively balls of feathers. It was true that they did seem upset, but it all appeared to be in good spirit, nonetheless. Just a playful fight among friends. But she couldn't help but to be curious. "How did you meet them, anyway? It's quite an... unusual friendship, I must say."Gardina looked out over the water, which seemed to stetch on for as far as her eyes could reach. For a moment, she imagined that they were stranded on a faraway island, just the two of them. And for some reason, the though didn't frighten her. For all I know, the world could be gone, right this moment...

"Ah, these three?" He laughed a little, smiling to her. "We've been together since we were all very small. Even Puff, believe it or not. He wasn't always so....well fed." Uller explained, the mentioned bird, glaring down at him. He was not fat, excuse you. After explaining, he too looked out on the water. "It's beautiful, isn't it? The perfect date...Though nothing compared to a lady of your callibur." Laying it on just a little, couldn't hurt....

Gardina looked at the chubby bird, trying to imagine him as a chick. She had to giggle a little, for all she saw before her was a tiny, fuzzy and perfectly round marble. She could see it infront of her, back in the days before they learned to fly, how they all sat upon his head at all times. It was a lovely, though very amusing, thought. She looked at Uller as he had his eyes reached over the see. He was beautiful in that light, his eyes almost glistening like the water when touched by the sun. And then he said those words, just like any true gentleman in one of her many books at home, flattering with grace. She found her cheeks heat up, and she quickly looked away. "Sh-sh-should we eat, then? I'm starving!"

Puff could tell she was laughing at him, and puffed up even more, giving a single annoyed chirp at her. HE WAS NOT FAT. Uller laughed at his companion, though was more amused by the slight flush on his companion's cheeks. It was well worth the cheese, he thought. "Ah yes, of course." He nodded, opening the basket. He spread out the blanket with an unearthly grace, the little birds not helping, too busy arguing on their own. Piece by piece, the various fruits and small sandwiches made their way upon the cloth, laid out to be inspected by Gardina. - quote taken out-

The whole scenery seemed to her as if thou it had been on a ripped out page of an odd storybook. Stranded by the sea, examined by the birds above, right next to a charming prince, it's a recipe to fall in... Just the thought made her blush ever more. She couldn't fall. Not her. Not like this. Those were fairy tales. Gardina blinked and shook her head lightly. She could not let these silly little thoughts get to her. We're mere adults, having a picnic at the beach, as adults do. And there's nothing else to it. Aside from his magic eyes... And the way that he... No. NOTHING.While she was in deep argument with her own mind, Uller had set out the food before them, and it all looked perfect. Like in a dream. A daydream... She blinked again, forcing herself to see at least one thing not entirely perfect before she ate. All her eyes could spot was an olive that had nearly fallen off the toothpick on top of one of the sandwiches. ...close enough."You didn't have to go through all this trouble... It looks lovely, though. All of it..."She looked up for a moment, and their eyes met. And thou they looked so cold, they made her feel warmer than she ever had felt before. Gardina looked down again, quickly picked up a sandwich, acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. Perhaps it was only ordinary to him, anyway...

Uller was more than happy to watch her, glancing up every now and then as he laid out the food upon the blanket. She surely was a beautiful sight, something so green in this vast see of blue. And blue and green often complimented each other, so he heard~. "This is nothing, do not worry. Some day I will treat you to an even better meal. I thought these would transport better." He laughed, smiling as their eyes met. The shy glance away she gave made him even more curious, though the two fell into silence as they finally ate. Or it would have been, had it not been for the bickering birds.
