Bio: Kaoru was born into a poor family and raised poorly as he was beaten by his alcoholic father almost daily. His mother died a year after giving birth to him and Kaoru’s brother, Xerxes, was also a weapon and they trained and learned everything together. However, Xerxes protected Kaoru from their father’s beatings one day and lost control and killed their father. Ashamed of his actions and believing Kaoru was mad at him, Xerxes left Kaoru 5 years ago and was never seen since. Kaoru hopes to find Xerxes one day and convince him to come back home with him. Kaoru’s sister, Emilia, was a meister at DWMA and was training there to help support the family. When she came back home, however, she saw what had happened and how Xerxes had left leaving Kaoru alone and her parents dead. Instead of hating Kaoru for bringing misfortune to the family she continued to care and love Kaoru. She decided to bring him to DWMA to have proper training and so that he could live with her. It is because of this that Kaoru deeply respects and cares for his sister. However, when coming back from an assignment one day, Emilia fell seriously ill. Frantic, Kaoru searched for a cure for his sister’s illness. He eventually found a cure but, to his dismay, discovered it said to be a rare and foreign medicine found only on the black market for a huge amount of money. His only other option is to obtain an even harder to find, endangered and elusive herb to cure his sister. Thus, Kaoru continues to tend to his sister’s disease while trying to find the cure for her.
1-Year Jump: Having fought in the Demonic Strike Expedition, Kaoru has continued to train himself and push his limits. Witnessing death and bloodshed he is just slightly more mature, but only SLIGHTLY, and continues to search for his family and bring them back together. Furthermore, having spent more time playing rather than studying Kaoru tried to wing the final exams and failed causing him to stay in the 1st year class. Never one to stay disappointed, Kaoru coerced his meister, Rei, to enroll into DWMA not only for her to help him with academics, but also to try and help her have fun.
Abilities:
+ Ascension: Kaoru gathers energy and is thrust into the ground creating a pillar of light around him and his meister 10 feet in diameter. Nothing is allowed in or out of the pillar until the move is cancelled. In addition, the pillar is sound proof and can reflect any move and bounce it back at 50% of the original attack power.
+ Cross Shield: Kaoru creates a copy of himself and then he and his copy spin rapidly and fly around the meister in weapon form to deflect attacks and can deal damage at close range. The copy returns to Kaoru after the move and can also block and attack during this move.
+ Partial Form: Allows Kaoru to turn part of his arm(s) into a blade as long as his arm. Kaoru can also create a double of himself and they can both use partial form, however, when this happens he cannot go into full weapon form until the copy goes back to Kaoru.
+ Speed Transfusion: Kaoru converts any and all damage and pain that he and his meister feel and uses it to increase their speeds respective to the amount of damage. At a near death state, it is possible to achieve the speed of light. However, this move does not relieve or heal pain and injuries, but only uses it to increase its effectiveness.
+ Insanity Storm (Must be in Weapon form): Kaoru is tossed in the air where he makes hundreds of solid copies of himself while in the air and then each blade flies around and swarms the enemy at once. Each blade does the same damage as he normally would, but considering how this attack can come from all sides and angles it is a devastating and destructive move. After the move, all of the aforementioned blades except Kaoru turn into a Butterfly Flame. Kaoru reverts back to his Human form, exhausted, until another 5 posts.
+ Butterfly Flame: Kaoru coats himself in a light blue flame-like substance that is loosely attached to him. The blue flame sticks itself to whatever he touches, even inanimate objects, but not to whoever is wielding him. Though the flames do no harm they gradually spread and cannot be put out. If the flames come in contact with anything alive, Kaoru can slowly sap their life force and transfer it to himself or his meister.
+ Raven Heart: Kaoru turns into a pitch black blade and coats the meister in a thin black flame-like substance. This causes a reaction in any Butterfly Flame in the area and causes them to erupt into a pitch black flames that burn and spread rapidly and can cause serious burn damage. These flames do cause harm, however, these flames can be put out and also use the life force of the meister and Kaoru to activate and maintain. The flame-like substance around the meister works the same as the other flames and will burn and attach to whatever it comes in contact with, minus the user.
