It was so tempting to hole herself up in her room, surrounded by her - still - packed things that were trying to make herself feel a little more at home in this unfamiliar place. Finding the Not-Forbidden Forest again was also a tempting option, trees were always a welcoming sight to the little Witch.
But, Maple had gotten it into her mind that she should continue to get the layout of the school, as huge and busy as it was. Before she got really lost when it mattered and depended on her not to, because knowing her luck something would happen in a certain place and she would have no idea where to go. Not that it was helping now, as she wandered through the halls and a few corridors to figure out what was around her.
At least she hadn't found herself outside again for no reason. And she knew exactly where the Creepateria was, as food was important, and the library now too, books were too. Maple kept herself to the walls, making her way past a few students, trying not to have a concerned look on her face but failing all the way. A mental map, this was good for her. Right? Even though she wasn't exactly sure where it was leading her to.
LP Sorry, lame start is lame ;A;

Willow's tail flickered as she was following a peculiar looking student, she knew that walk. Willow was stalking her until they were alone in a hallway.
"That's not going to help." She piped up, with a chuckle. She was standing there looking at the little witch, "I tried that way when I first got here too." The byakko couldn't help but find it amusing, she must've looked this way when she was trying to make the same map.
"Really the school should hand out maps to new students. It's impossible to navigate without a proper map." She continued. "Name's Willow by the way."

A startled noise couldn't help but escape when the byakko made her presence known. There had been so many students passing her by without a care, that the little witch hadn't even thought someone might actually be following her, and in an amused fashion.
Maple turned around slowly, recovering her wits and gripping the loose ends of her the handkerchief tied around her head like a life line. "A m-map would be really n-nice," she had to agree. "T-there is s-so m-much here." So many places to get lost.
"D-does it g-get easier... to f-find where you're g-going?" She found herself asking, her eyes curious and hopeful. Because getting lost was not something she hoped to hold onto. Bad luck was one thing, constant misdirection was just annoying.
"I-I'm ... Maple," she smiled nervously, "i-it's n-nice to meet you..."

"It gets easier eventually." Willow answered as her tail twitched moving closer to the younger student. "Still takes some time though, specially when a new class crops up you didn't know existed." There was a small roll of her shoulders, "Where are you trying to get to?"
There was a smile when the little witch introduced herself, "Nice to meet you too." It was odd seeing someone more timid than her, granted Willow was really only a wreak when it came to large groups so this was nothing to her, she could pass by people since often she went unnoticed anyway.
