The pale cub kneaded her paws into the dirt with a frown. The sun had just started to peek its head over the horizon, the first sprays of light making their way into their den. It was unusually early for her to wake up, but Na'an seemed distressed. Their mother seemed to be away temporarily; it wasn't a surprise, at this point, and the little cub didn't seem to worked up about Uuni's absence.
No, something else seemed to be wrong.
The small figure was curled up against the wall of the den, front lets stretched out far in front of her as she lay. Not quite a graceful sleeping position, but she was but a cub. That hollow elegance, that was something that came later. A soft noise left the back of the cub's throat. It sounded like a faint whine. The sound itself seemed uneasy.

The cub's brother was awake, he had been since their mother left. He always noticed when his mom left, there was always this uneasy feeling. He knew that she wouldn't let them get hurt but yet at the same time he always felt a little uncomfortable. Not only that but he always felt like he had to watch his sister, he had to make sure that they were going to be safe even though his mother wasn't there. He was very much a goody-two-shoes that was for sure but he was dedicated and that included dedicated to situations that included making sure that his loved ones were safe.
He stretched himself out that was until he heard a noise, he wasn't sure what to think about it. It wasn't a noise that he was expecting. It was worrisome. His head lifted off of his paws as he scooted forward. Was his sister awake? What was she doing? He wasn't that sure but either way he watched with concern. He stood and started to wander closer to her. "Na'a?" He called out very quietly, if she was sleeping he didn't want to be loud. He moved a even closer pausing with his tail dangling behind him. "Na'?" He asked again wondering if she could hear her. What was going on? He really hoped that she was oaky or for that matter she would answer him.

Na'an didn't seem to hear her brother. At least, not at first. In fact, the cub still seemed to be fast asleep, though her brow knit together ever so slightly and her paws tensed and flexed as her breathes grew heavy. She was dreaming. The whine continued to be heard every once in a while until, in a very quick motion, her peach colored eyes snapped open. The youth tensed, pulling in a quick, deep breath as she awoke. It took a moment until she was cognizant again; it didn't seem as though she knew quite where she was.
"I.." She furrowed her brow, curling tight and rubbing her face with a paw. Na'an's eyes traced the landscape around her. The den. The opening, where the light was growing. Her brother. "Min..." She frowned, setting her chin on the ground. The dreams. The cub had dreamed, before, but not like this. This was so vivid. So real...Yin-Bug Tag! I'm not at home right now, but I'll check on the other RP when I am c:

Minkah looked at his sister, his own brow knitted tightly in concern. He loved his sister and the noises that she made concerned him. His ears flicked as he listened quietly and watched as carefully as he could. He was making sure that nothing was wrong with her. Was she going to wake up. As she did he relaxed a little and he flopped down on his belly next to him. He stretched his legs out as he laid next to her. He was wondering what was going through her lioness's mind. He was concerned and he couldn't help but to think.
He thought about what to say to the lioness he was waiting for her to wake up some. "I'm here Na'a." He half purred as he talked to her. He didn't want to scare her, he knew that his sister was strong, but at the same time he knew that his sister didn't make noises like this often. "Are you okay Na'a?" He asked curiously making sure to use the nickname that he gave his sister, not really that creative but no one else called her that, their mother used their full names, and Minkah having a soft spot for her sister always called her the nickname he gave her. He waited his tail flopping around behind him waiting to see what she said. He was hoping that everything was okay.
