The hallway that connects the dormitories. Posting here to get to your character's dorm is not necessary. This is the transitioning space all students go through to get to different areas of the dormitory. It is a place for people to talk and meet to get to know their neighbors. Its also the place where a lot of fights tend to break out, but as most quickly learn they never last long with the landlady so near to break it up.

Elsbeth Norris  Passing under the arch, ratty backpack clutched in her right hand, room key in the other, Elsbeth made her way merrily down the corridor, humming quietly to herself, eyes roving over the door's as she walked.
It was quite nice here, pretty. After a while she saw a staircase and started to climb. the numbers so far on this floor had been between 1A and 020. She assumed her door would be on the next floor. She took the stairs slowly, running her palm along the banister as she climbed, the key dangling from her thumb.

xZeev grumbled slightly as he made his way up the stairs towards his dorm room. His pace was way slower then normal, as the pain his leg which he'd been previously ignoring was finally becoming overwhelming. He noticed a funny sounding noise coming down from higher up the stairs, It sounding like singing, but without words, and it appeared to be coming from a little girl. "Hey! What's that you're doin'?" Zeev shouted up at the little girl without thinking. x

Elsbeth Norris Elsbeth spun, slightly startled by the sudden noise from below. Once turned she giggled and bounded back down the stairs, stopping four steps above Zeev so she could look him in the eye. "I am humming silly, did you grow up in the caveman days?" She looked him over, head to toe. "You are really tall Mr, someone ate all their vegetables growing up!" She then proceeded to stick her tongue at at the man before her.

x Zeev gave the girl a quizzical look as he tried to think of what a caveman was. When the girl rushed down the stairs towards him, Zeev nearly leaped up at her, but he didn't see any aggression in the way she moved and stopped himself. Answering the girl's statement, Zeev said with a shrug, "I'm like my Pa. And I'm Zeev. You're very, very small." x

Elsbeth Norris "Was your Pa a giant?" She asked, smiling brightly. She twirled around on the spot on the tips of her toes before settling back to look him over again. "I am Elsbeth, Mr Zeev, and I am not short, I just look that way coz you are half giant!" She said this with conviction and a nod.

x"Nah, no bigger then me." Zeev replied as he crouched down a bit, coming closer Elsbeth's eye level. "You're still short." Zeev commented with a grin, as he was practically level with her now, only because he'd also moved down a step. x

Elsbeth Norris Elsbeth pouted a little. "Yeah Well I would rather be short than tall Mr, coz I can hide and if lightning was gonna strike, it would get you and not me!" She smiled triumphantly she looked down and remembered the reasons he had been going up the stairs. "Oh, Mr, can you help me find this?" She asked and thrust the key towards him. Though even fully outstretched her arm only covered half the distance between them.

x Zeev plucked the key out of her outreached hand and examined it. He recognized the numbers on the key, it was close to his own room, which was where he'd originally been headed. "It's close, follow me." He said as handed back the key, stood up and walked past Elsbeth with with a few long steps. By the time she would reach the top of the stair case, Zeev would be waiting just outside her door. x

Elsbeth Norris Elsbeth smiled and piped out a quick "Thankyou," as she took the key back and turned, watching him vanish up the steps rapidly. She jumped up the stairs one by one and when she reached the top, looked from left to right, and when she saw Zeev, ran over to him. "This one? She asked as she stuck the key into the lock and twisted, a soft click indicating that it was indeed the right one. She laughed loudly at her success, and shoved the door open, and peered inside. Satisfied with what she saw she turned and wrapped her arms arms, as far as they would go, around Zeevs waist, her head resting on his chest. "Thank you Mr Zeev!"

xZeev was flabbergasted, it'd been years since anyone had made physical contact without the intent to inflict pain. The action was familiar to him, but it'd been so long, he couldn't even remember the name for it. Zeev awkwardly wrapped his arms around Elsbeth, and said after remembering the right words, "Uh... You're welcome." x

Elsbeth Norris Elsbeth gently disentangled herself from the hug, still smiling brilliantly. "I Should, probably get settled in... I guess..." SHe said, glancing through the doorway to where someone sat inside. How strange. "I really appreciate your help, we should meet up after I get settled and hang out," She nodded slowly, eyes back on his face.

xZeev was reluctant to end the.... thing they were doing, and did his best to smile back at Elsbeth. He looked away for a moment and said, "My room is over there, and I will be there for a while. If you want to see me, come find me there." He then gestured at the door labeled "106" and added, "The thing they want you to take, it can change people a lot. Be sure you're ready, before you take it." x

Elsbeth Norris Elsbeth smiled as she backed into the room noting his room number. Though the fact he hadnt told her the number intrigued her. she would ask him later. "I will swing by in a little while Zeev, I owe you one!" She giggled softly before closing the door and turning to greet the boy behind her.

xHe nodded to himself as Elsbeth's door closed in front of him, and Zeev turned to his own room. He fished out his key from an inner pocket of his jacket and unlocked the door, after which he slid inside and closed the door with a click.
