- Aes begins to prepare it's military incase of tension between the factions.

- "In the last three-months, heat between the factions grew. It was the paranoia, the fear for what might happen if a faction was to consume all the seats of the throne. Groups with elected court positions from each of the factions intuitively set out west where land, compromised by beasts stood a barrier between the factions and arrival in Callium. Renegades from the factions and pirates from outside of Ater Nox also collected and pushed west.

Accusation: A Lucidas Magas citizen returns injured, stuck in a constant state of twitching. Sharp pains erode throughout his body and he swears he's going to die. A finger is pointed at dark magic and Ater Nox becomes a sudden enemy. Peaceful Lucidas Magas enraged - who would have imagined?

Tension: No factions are more technologically advanced than Aes and Novum Fulgar and each of the factions know this. Soon a head-to-head competition between the two factions comes up. Each day, the weapons and machines made are more dangerous and threatening than the day before and the other factions become concerned and work to strengthen their defenses.

Aggression: In Thesaurum Oppidum a man from Armatus does not like the attitude of a stranger from Novum Fulgar and a fight breaks out. The man from Novum Fulgar is stabbed in the neck and the man from Armatus is blind from a spell with a mystery concoction that no one can figure out." - Arcine - Aiden Hymns

- It is settled between several councilors that Maeried will act as an ambassador for Armatus.

- Vossler offers to sponsor Aiden's trek west as well as escort her as long as she uses her name as a cover for Aes's transportation of heavy machinery across land. Aiden agrees.

- In a restaurant, not long after the first meeting between Vossler and Aiden, the characters Moa and Aziz come into the picture. When it is revealed that a pirate ship has descended down into Aes due to the impassable weather, Vossler collects everyone onto his ship. Aiden who is outside at the time brings the new character Manson onto the ship.

Unable to balance herself, Moa unconsciously reveals part of her other wolf-form.

- Approaching the pirate ship in Vossler's ship, Aiden recognizes that the ship belongs to Red, an infamous pirate noted for fearsomeness and a reason for uneasiness

- Vossler, Aiden, and Aziz descend down by the ship's cage onto Red's ship. There, on the deck, the two leaders confront each other. Friction is evident and before things can become further aggressive, a frigate of Vossler's crashes due to the current weather. Survivors of the crash scatter as a mechanical beast prototype of Vossler's military is release. The character Bonny is injured.

- Aiden proceeds to find any survivors while Vossler and Aziz who are eventually accompanied by Moa and Manson attempt to take down the beast which is magic-proof.

Aiden meets the character Lucy, an ambassador for a Lucidus Magus peace group, and the two look for survivors. Eventually, the two find the injured Bonny. A mysterious man, Veazka also joins the group, offering his help. Lucy is able to heal Bonny's leg leaving the broken ribs for later so that the group may become mobile and use the route of climbing up Red's ship and then making way to Vossler's.

- In Novum Fulgar, Arcana, the Novum Fulgar leader, and Obsidian, the Novum Fulgar military leader communicate that a faction "won't even know what hit them." Meanwhile, K.A.I., a man-made technological weapon in the form of a man, collects information.

- Red finally takes action after the beast has been torn. She uses her magic to incinerate the beast from inside out thusly conquering it. In the moments following, it is realized that Manson and Red know each other from years ago and the two proceed into the pirate ship after Red welcomes everyone except Vossler into the ship. Hesitant at first, Aiden who has made it onboard with the other's follows Manson and Red into the ship. Aziz does the same. Realizing that Manson and Red are about to have conversation perhaps too personal for Aiden's ears, Aiden turns and confronts Vossler who has come into ship as well. The two have a heated argument before resolving to stop and take care of Bonny.

- While the group is outside, Layla arrives knocking on Red's ship looking for shelter. Everyone except Aziz, Manson, and Red collect into Vossler's ship which releases a claw and picks up Red's ship underneath.

- The two ships arrive in a port in Eos where the character Ace, an engineer and mechanic turned mercenary, is in the process of selling pistols, but is also there on his way looking for Vossler. By chance, Aiden becomes a buyer and is able to bring Ace to Vossler who has arranged a carriage and a buggy to bring the group to his estate for a meal. Veazka leaves in the direction of Thesaurum Oppidum.

- Three months pass. Each of the characters have found his or her own way in the time, some have found their ways into the other factions while some prepare for the annual Festival of Peace held at Lucidus Magus for two weeks.

- Characters arrive for the Festival of Peace. Mention of a formal event for high-scale guests such as faction leaders spread.

- Chance rents out the entire fifth floor of the Aureus Laus, a hotel known to answer to those with the most income. He allows Aiden to stay in room 519. Also staying in the Aureus Laus is Vossler, Layla, and Moa.

- Aziz and Malhi meet up with Manson in the Pluma Inn. There, a ritual is performed and Manson is left alone unconscious after accepting dark magic into his body. Manson awakes. He fluctuates between a weakened state and one in which his sight and strength are abnormal even for him. Eventually, Manson's strengthened state become consistent and he impulsively leaves the Inn.

- The ball starts and each character has made his or her way over to it.

- Manson with no warning attacks at the ball. Judith follows up this move and chaos erupts. People die. The ballroom is ruined. Judith uses a spell and takes herself, her three men, Lady Aaren, Sir Emer, Maliarc, Benjamin Black, Asher, and Layla to a well hidden area on the Island of Ater Nox.

- Chance kills Vossler. Only Aiden and Mairead/Ceron know this. The three make it to a hotel room where after watching a news report, they find out that the Armatus faction leader has also been killed.

- Aes closes its borders and prepares a response to the death of their leader. A new High Commander is yet to be chosen
