Dana hadn't done much with her contraband pen. It was a stupid pen anyway. Gaudy, big, and it didn't even write. What a rip off.
But it was weird and shiny and she kept it anyway, actually hoping to figure out how to take it apart like all her other gadgets and maybe use the pieces for something else. These big pens usually had a tiny spring in them or something, right? That could be useful. Or maybe she could just replace the ink and then it wouldn't be the stupidest most useless pen on the planet!
But she couldn't seem to find where it opened up. For being a pen that couldn't even write, it was made out of some magical whatsit because she had been sitting on the grass in the park for an hour fiddling with it, and nothing. Of course its indestructibility only made her curious about it. Which was good because she'd been sitting here ignoring it while she had other drama going on for a week, which was terrible treatment for one's henshin pen. Except she had no idea what the hell a henshin pen even was.

Sheena had been watching the girl for a little bit, well since she showed up in the park. She had been up in a tree having chased a youma up it, but the thing lost it footing and was dusted. It was a weak thing even if it was technically bigger than Sheena.
She jumped down from the tree and trotted over to the girl. "You know," she said not even bothering to introduce herself, "surely that it will do you more good if you use it to actually power up. Really you shouldn't fiddle with it. Surely you're cat has explained all of this too you."
Sheena sat, everything she said was in a matter of fact tone, calm and even, as opposed to rude and pushy, but certainly could have been taken as such. "So my question to you is why are you just fiddling with it instead of using it?"

When Dana heard someone speak, she jumped a bit. She had, after all, found this pen while in the course of illegal activities.
She she looked over and noticed the speaker was a small cat with a star on it's head, her eyes almost bulged out of her head. And she jumped up to her feet and darted away with a scream like she was being chased by a serial killer.
Except she got about ten feet away before she tripped on a rock and fell face first in the grass so obviously if the cat was a serial killer, she wouldn't have lasted very long.
But Dana was still freaking out.
She had been introduced to a world of senshi and youma and agents of darkness a long time ago, but the entire time everyone neglected to mention the fact there were cats that could talk. Every single one of them.

Sheena rolled her eyes when the girl jumped up, screamed and bolted, she really didn't have much desire to chase the girl. Not only that the reaction was really strange to Sheena considering the girl got the pen, but when she thought about it probably not, especially if the girl did that to whoever gave her the pen.
She gave chase and smirked with the girl fell running up to her and sitting in front of her. "It's a little dark to be running out like that and not watching where you are going," she said pointing to the rock Dana tripped over.
She came right up to the girl, right in her face and grinned, "Don't worry we will get this all worked out chibi senshi. Just don't run off again okay," she said giving the girl a pet on the head.
"Okay, since you obviously don't know what going on as you probably ran away from the cat that gave you the pen, I'm going to help you out. I just need to look over your pen to find out who you are and then you can use it."

Dana pushed herself up and sputtered. "What?!" Her voice cracking to a higher pitch as the cat just strut around and kept talking.
And then she was slightly offended as she flopped back on her butt and held up the silver pen with a bird etching on it. "I didn't get this from a cat, I found it," She announced, completely leaving out the fact she 'found' it while leaving the scene of a crime.
"There wasn't a cat." At least, she hadn't seen one.
The mention of the word senshi made her frown and worry that she had actually been mistaken for her sister, but if she was she would keep quiet and not announce that indignity just yet.

Sheena shook her head frowning, she was pretty sure a cat wouldn't be so careless as to just leave a henshin pen lying around, more so why would one even be carrying one unless they sensed a senshi nearby.
"You can't find them, they have to be given, but that's a matter for another time," she sat sort of just staring at the girl for several moment making the situation far stranger than it already was. "If it isn't your's than it won't work for you and I've got a feeling it will work just fine."
She looked over the pen, getting right up on it, nose probably uncomfortable close to Dana's hand and grinned up a Dana, she was Columba.
"Alright chibi senshi, time for you to try it out. Okay. Just stand up and say Columba Power, Make Up!, like you mean please."
Retrospectively she probably should have given more explanation, but Sheena was the type to run head long into things and could be rather blunt.

Dana looked comically skeptical as she stared down at the pen and then to the cat before she got up to her feet. She'd seen a senshi power up before, so she kind of knew the move, and suddenly her stomach knit in excitement that this was actually going to be her moment.
Evie was going to regret giving her the brush off and going to discuss senshi stuff with her senshi friends because she didn't trust her. Now it was Dana's time!
"Columbia Power, Make Up!" If only she could get her senshi name right. Nothing happened, and she went back to frowning at the pen, entirely unpowered still. "What gives?"

Sheena was happy to see the chibi senshi was no longer putting up a fuss, but her happy smirk when from that to a flabbergasted look of exasperation when the girl pronounced her own name wrong. Granted Dana hadn't even know she was was a senshi until just a few moments ago, still Sheena always had rather high expectation one of which included pronouncing your name correctly.
Her kitty jaw snapped shut after a moment and she fixed the girl with a look, "well if you pronounced it right ..." she mumbled lightly, but decided not to finish the thought. She definitely didn't want to discourage the girl.
"No matter, try again, but this time its CO-LUM-BA, not CO-LUM-BI-A, drop the I," she said sounding both words out care before grinning expectantly at Dana. Clearly she expecting the girl to get it right this go around. "Like you mean please."

"What the heck is a Columa?" Dana asked defensively. Everyone knows what Columbia is. A country, a type of coffee, probably... other things.
Columba made no sense. But then, Eunomia was a pretty weird senshi name too! she had no idea what a Eunomia was.
"Colum--... Columba. Baaaa. Ba. Okay," She cleared her throat. "ColumBA power, make-up!"
This time something happened. Her knight uniform was gone and in it's place, a pretty distinct fuku. Shorts, belt, bodice, hat. It definitely wasn't like her sister's.
"Holy s**t!" She practically squawked as she jumped up and down. "I could do that the whole time? The whole time?!" She darted about in circles in her winged running shoes before dashing back in front of Sheen. "Holy crap!"

She wanted to rolled her eyes at the second mispronunciation, but after a few moments Dana got it right and Sheena grinned brightly at chibi senshi. "Welcome Chibi Senshi Columba," she said very enthusiastically watching the girl running about in her fuku clearly excited about the whole situation.
The exclamation of Holy Crap had Sheena laughing, but she nodded anyway, "Holy crap indeed, as you so put it. You are a warrior of justice, it a rather exciting thing and I think you will do well. You seem to have the right attitude for it despite our earlier mishap."
She hopped and grinning, "just one last thing chibi senshi. Did you perhaps find a phone with you henshin pen? You need your senshi phone, it's really the best way to keep track of the senshi you've met and you can even use a locator on them with it."

"Justice for what?" Columba wasn't exactly on the up and up about the Negaverse or anything of the sort. Mostly because when she asked, her sister gave her a speech about how she could never understand before running off with that Lydia chick who she totally talked about Negaverse stuff with while Dana stewed in jealousy.
"Cellphone? Nooo... I mean my dad says I'm too young for a phone so. And I didn't find one." She cleared her throat and bounced back on her heels in thought before deciding to leave out the fact she found her pen while fleeing the scene of a crime.
"It's important, huh?"

Sheena gave a grin at the question, "the earth, your constellation, the whole universe," she spouted exaggerating slightly seeing earth was the only place that had living breathing life forms left, sort of. "Against chaos and the negaverse," she continued," be careful with them little one, some are a bit crazy. If you can find a partner that would probably be good, but I think you'll do just fine."
Sheena frowned at the no cellphone comment and honestly didn't see why the girl was to young for a cellphone. She saw tons of little kids running around with them and every other kind a electronic device. She was a bit jealous because she honestly wanted to try them all, though she could try lots of them at Oberon's house.
"Is it important. Course it is silly. I just said it will help you track other's and hold everyone you meets senshi phone numbers." She didn't say exactly that put Sheena wasn't exactly a fan of repeating herself.
"No matter though, I can get it for you," she said hoping the cellphone hadn't just been summoned and the girl hadn't picked it up. After a moment though there it was and Sheena pushed it forward to Columba. "There you go, its all your's when you power down it will go away but when you become Columba again all you have to do is summon it to you, it will appear."

"Ugh, the whole universe?" That sounded like a lot. Columba let her shoulders slump as she thought about the enormity of that. "But alls I got was a fancy uniform, I can't fight crime and fly around like Supergir-- wait, can I?" Because if she could fly then that changed some things.
She didn't feel like she could fly, though.
She looked like she was energized for an explosion, though, when the cat pushed a cellphone towards her. Her cellphone. Something special of her own and she picked it up and repressed a squeal.
"So... 'my' constellation... does that mean I own it? The whole thing?"

Sheena nodded, but gave a small sigh, "It sound like a lot, but it's mostly just earth because there isn't really anything out there right now. Hence why you Columba are on earth instead of on Columba," she said before her face took on a serious frown and she shook her head.
"Of course you can't fly. You've got a magical attack to help you fight chaos," she said with a quick no no sense nod.
At the next question she gave a pleased smile and nodded once more, "Yes Columba is all your and you can even go there if you like. There is a button on your phone to take you there. No one is there anymore, but I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing it."
Sheena sat back watching the chibi with keen interest. Despite there earlier mishaps, she decided that she really like the girl and would have to sneak up on her from time to time.

Columba listened with her mouth agape. She could go to space? And more importantly, she had her very own cellphone? Yes, this fascination had already been covered, but she was thirteen and really, it was just magical.
She closed her mouth and had trouble containing what sounded like the repressed bit of a very goofy laugh.
"Ohmygodthisisallsocool." So very cool.
"Do you have a name? Do cats have names like people have names?" She would like to know who to be grateful for for telling her about her senshi name, after all! And then she put way too much thought into it. "And not the names people give them because I don't know, if I was able to talk and name myself I wouldn't want to be called Cupcake, or Fluffy, or Mister Boots or all the other stupid names people give to cats."
