Alomolantine is one of the most beloved holidays of Armonia. The bright and powerful love that comes from this time of the year has transformed the idea into more than just a day of celebration; instead of celebrating for just one day, the entire village has a festival for an entire month! Everything from banners to the inventory in shops change to reflect the love and kindness that envelops the Pokemon. No one is allowed to fight, steal, or bicker during this event.
So as the sun shines bright down upon its citizens, there is some commotion going over at Armonia's Special Delivery Service! Pokemon from all guilds pop in every second, bombarding Otto and Florence with a dozen letters and more.
The bird Pokemon coos quickly, putting each letter carefully into the pockets of his bag. While the dragon type Pokemon laughs and snorts while shoving them into his own. No one seems to mind though, as they pay the two messengers and hurriedly run out to enjoy the rest of the festival.
Looking away from the Delivery Service, the Bluk Tattoo parlor seems to be closed for the day... Gil is nowhere to be seen. But for some reason Delter is standing in front of the shop with a vacant stare in his eyes.... there's nothing really unusual about this, however.
On the other side of the town square a Crawdaunt is lazily lounging while two Joltiks jump around and spin red accessories -- it seems even they have supported this event. The items they are selling are one of a kind Alomolantine accessories and trinkets. There are so many Pokemon around the shop it's even harder to approach than normal. There's no way to even get close to the shop.
Just as popular is the general store. Kasimira the Honchrkrow is squawking loudly about the new wares available for sale. Sparkling Heart Scales and tasty Luvdisc candy. Even special colored evolution stones, each one of them varying shades of pink and red. They're said to evolve your Pokemon with the power of love. One special stone is being showcased in a very thick protective glass. It's round with a pinkish-gray shade. Red speckles the stone. There's no way to inspect the stone more closely as Kasimira slaps Pokemon out of the way and screeches loudly. It appears that this stone is a very rare version of the Everstone. No one knows what it does...
The only shop that seems to finally settle down is the Delivery Service. Otto and Florence are now chattering away as they put the letters safely into their pouches.
"So that last letter? Yeah! It said, 'To my dear Gordon, how brightly your petals shine in my glowing amber tail!'" Florence holds up a green letter in his claws; he's snickering loudly at the letter he had opened and read to Otto. The bird Pokemon just shakes his head reprimandingly.
"You shooouldn't open other Pokemon's letter's Floooorence. It's nooot right. " His wings ruffle with each coo he makes.
"Right shmite! I don't give a conkledurr about that. Besides, I can get more poke out of reading these things to the recievers. They'll find it romaaaantive~" Despite saying this, he does put the letter back into its torn envelope. "Seriously. I think I'm actually going to make this into a service. "
(( For those of you joining the rp, please feel free to interact with Otto and Florence !))

Armonia was all a twitter with the holiday festivities, and a certain little Smoochum couldn't help but feel a natural high from all of the buzz, herself. Alomolantine had finally rolled around, and Kamea couldn't be more happy. It was, in her opinion, the best holiday of the year. The power of love was around everywhere, pokemon were nicer to each other, and one got to express their feelings to their friends and those that they cared about. What was not to love about such a day? Kamea beamed as she got ready at the Gracidea Trading Association to head out into town. Her favorite holiday had arrived.
With her backpack strapped over her shoulders, the Smoochum left the relatively quiet Association and found herself skipping off into town. Everyone seemed to be in the square that morning, and it made her happy to see all the different pokemon. Clearly, they all loved the holiday as much as she did. The mood of the town was rather infectious, Kamea noted to herself as she went along her way. The sun was shining and the sky was blue, so even the weather was good for them on that day.
As Kamea past the Seaside Company, the dual Ice and Psychic type couldn't help but want to go over. Unfortunately, there was a very large crowd. While she was smaller than the average pokemon, being a baby and all, she probably could have weaved her way in and out of the others there until she got to the front. However, she decided not to risk it. The general store, from what she could see, seemed just as abuzz with pokemon out front. As Kamea continued along her way, she couldn't help but overhear some of the other pokemon. They were chattering about some of the special stores that Kasimir had for the holidays. There was something about a special everstone that everyone kept talking about. It was very rare, and no one knew what it did, but it certainly peaked Kamea's interest.
Regardless of her interest in the stone, the Smoochum kept on walking. With all of the hubbub about the town, Kamea was surprised to see that the Delivery Service was relatively quiet. Curious, the little pokemon found herself drawn to the building, and stepped inside, only to pause in the door and look around. "Happy Alomolantine," she greeted initially with an enthusiastic smile. It was after that when she noticed the two pokemon putting letters in their bags. There were quite a few of them. Perhaps they could use some help?
"The whole town is excited about the holiday! It's quite busy with all the other pokemon, and those are a lot of letters," Kamea went on to comment. As she stepped further into the Delivery Service to get out of the doorway, she smiled and extended out her arm to the two pokemon. "My name is Kamea, and I'd be more than willing to help you guys, if you need it or would like an extra hand!" It was a heartfelt statement that she made, and as she stood there with her arm extended, the Smoochum beamed. She was honestly willing and eager to help, and why not? This was her favorite time of year, and with the town as busy as it was, the Delivery Service might want some help. It was also the least that she could do, but ultimately, it was up to them, so the baby pokemon patiently waited to see what they would say.

The two winged pokemon continue bickering over Florence's new idea. It seems practical on his side, however Otto was right. There wouldn't be too many Pokemon out there that would appreciate their letter being read allowed. In public. Instead of to the one they wanted their letter to go to.
Florence was adamant though. And he opened another letter to read right before Kamea comes into the establishment. Otto squawks loudly and hurries over to the Baby Pokemon while Florence snickers over the letter. Not even hiding the fact that he's reading it.
" W-well hellooo there little one." His head cocks quickly as he locks over the smoochum. Kameaa! I haven't seen you arooound. Are you new here? " This is when Florence finally pays attention. He crumples the letter into his bag and hovers closely next to her.
" Help huh? We could use some help. Couldn't we Otto. " He snickers and nudges the Pidgeot.
"We cooould. But I'm afraid we dooon't have the funds to repay you foooor this service right now!" His eyes glance up at the broken roof top. " An accident with a snoorlax this Arceusmus caused soooome trooooble fooor us. We are trying tooo save up oooon oooour poke..."
" Pshh, shuddup Otto. We can repay her in berries. We have lots of those from the 'missing' gifts during Arceusmus." His claws go up to his mouth as he snickers. "Would you mind berries, Kamo?"

Kamea's eyes widened when Otto squawked as she entered, but she smiled when he hurried right over to her. It was nice of him to come to her side so quickly, even though she had just arrived. "I guess I'm new," she explained, unable to keep from eyeing Florence who was reading the letters. There were lots and lots of them, but despite them all, the Flygon still seemed really interested in them. Letters were often personal, intimate things, so who could blame him? "I just got accepted to the Gracidea Trading Association not too long ago. It's wonderful!"
As the two larger pokemon hovered over her, the baby pokemon listened intently to the words that they were saying. When they mentioned that they could use the help, the Smoochum couldn't help but grin widely. How wonderful -- she'd be able to help on her favorite holiday of the year! Her smile then faded, however, at the mention of the Snorlax at Arceusmus. She remembered all that ruckus, and she shook her head sadly at the sight of the broken roof. Arceusmus seemed to be a rather hectic time all around, in comparison to Alomolantine, which seemed a lot more happy and laid back. How much trouble could happen on a day like today?
When the mention of pay came up, Kamea flapped her arms and shook her head from side to side vigorously. Florence and Otto didn't have to pay her anything. They were trying to save their poke after the accident, which was totally understandable. Saving their berries, too, would probably be more beneficial to them. The more berries they saved, the more poke they could get from selling them later. "I don't need payment!" she told them with a definite nod. "I just want to help out on my favorite holiday -- that's all! Anything I can do to spread some love and give back, that's what I want to do." As she said this, the Smoochum couldn't help but wiggle happily. She then blew the two pokemon a kiss in the air, a habit of hers when she got excited about something. Just knowing she was doing some good for Armonia was more than enough for her.

It was Alomolantine and love was in the air. There was nothing at all wrong with this time of the year. Bubba just felt a little awkward during this holiday. He just had a hard time finding ways to express himself. The little azurill was not one for many words and if he could help it, no words at all. Sometimes he felt like he was incapable of explaining things verbally. Possibly the only positive thing was that he had no one he needed to write a letter to or buy a present for. Perhaps that wasn't that positive though. He frowned to himself as he smoothed the fur atop his head.
Despite his tendency to avoid big crowds, he couldn't help but want to peek at everything in the general store. His eyes were big as they looked at all the stones, particularly the one that Kasimira guarded so closely. Bubba wanted a closer look but that would be one too many 'excuse me's and 'sorry's for him. Instead he stepped back and looked around the rest of the town. He saw a little smoochum talking to Florence and Otto.
The thought of Florence and Otto frightened him. There was a good reason why he never sent any letters through them. Florence had a reputation and from what he could hear as he got closer to them, it was probably very true. He walked along at an unhurried pace with the hopes that they would not notice him. Unfortunately, his small stature ensured that he would be noticed as he tripped over something on the ground. His mouth opened into an 'o' shape as he fell over and landed on his face. If it were possible, his whole body would have turned a bright shade of red out of embarrassment.

On the morning of Alomolantine, Cecil the Turtwig woke up just as he always did every other morning: with the sun. A beam of warm light fell in on him while he was in bed and woke him from his slumber. A yawn escaped him, and slowly, the Grass-type pokemon found himself stumbling out of bed and beginning his day as if it were any other. A light breakfast of berries, a few stretches to help wake up, and after splashing some water on his face, Cecil was on his way. "I'll be back later..." he called out slowly to the other pokemon at the Butter Biscuit Rescuing Group. It's not as if he had to address the fact that he was leaving. Heck -- most pokemon probably didn't even care one way or the other, but he did it all the same. It was how he left every day, since after all: better to know he left in case he didn't come back, then not know at all.
Throngs of pokemon congregated in the town square of Armonia, and yet Cecil didn't pay them any mind. He was off in his own little world, pondering where he could relax today on the edges of Caterpie's Forest. The forest was always a nice place to relax, what with the trees and the soft grass. Certainly, the last thing on his mind was Alomolantine. In fact -- Cecil didn't even know that it was a holiday it all. The Turtwig didn't keep up with such thing; not really. Sure, he loved the holidays well enough, but he never personally kept track of when they were. When they happened, they happened, and while he was always eager for them, he was usually happy after finding out a few hours after the festivities had gotten underway.
"Lookit all...the pokemon..." Cecil murmured to himself, pausing to take a glimpse at the town square around him. He couldn't even see the inside of the General Store or the Accessory shop. There were waaaay too many pokemon. Cecil couldn't even remember the last time he had seen so many all together. Blinking, the Turtwig tilted his head, trying to think of the best possible explanation for all the pokemon to be around. "...Must be a big sale...or maybe a movie star came to town...pokemon always get excited when movie stars are around...hee~" At this, Cecil couldn't help but smile. A movie-star: that had to be it! Everyone loved movie-stars, especially if they were really pretty and in good movies.
Cecil continued on his way after contemplating why so many others were out and about. It would be better to get out of the crowded town square and off to somewhere much quieter. It was often difficult to relax in loud, packed places, so heading off in the direction of the Delivery Service seemed best. In passing the broken-roofed building, Cecil couldn't help but notice the other pokemon that were already inside. There was a Smoochum talking with the two delivery-pokemon, as well as a Azurill that had tripped over something. Ouch! That looked painful. Mentally, Cecil was sympathizing. He tripped over things, too. Whether intentionally meaning to or not, the Grass-type found himself walking in the direction of the Delivery Service, until he was inside the doorframe of the building.
He blinked once again, and then moved over to Bubba's side. Without saying a word, he opened his mouth, bent his head down, and went to help the baby pokemon up. Falling often hurt, and someone had to help him. Why not Cecil? "...I'm like you.." he murmured quietly. "I fall all the time. Sometimes others laugh, but that's okay," he went on to say. He always picked himself back up again, after. Perhaps these words would make the Azurill feel better.

"Well look at that. A Kind Pokemon, such a change for once. "Florence's eyes narrow and he peers closely at the Smoochum. Then he stares at the kisses and snorts. The flygon laughs loudly before handing her and opened letter. "There you go. You have to hand this over to a certain Leafeon. The only Lefeaon in this area. " Otto coos at seeing the Guild master's letter opened, but he doesn't say much. Instead he smiles weakly at the Smoochum and bows lightly.
"Thank you for doooing this. It really will help us!" He pulls back up and pulls a letter out of his own bag. "This letter is for Idan. Please give this to him whenever you get the chance." He bows again before pushing the snickering Florence lightly. But once the Azurill takes a bumbling step in, his feathers ruffle and he heads over to him quickly.
"Are you alright?" He coos lightly. And then his eyes glance at the little Turtwig that arrives. "Did you twoooo need to send letters as well? "
Although not much commotion is in the store, there is some thing happening outside the delivery service area. A Group is wandering the open space. None of them look familiar at all.. and the Ampharos looks strangely suspicious. It's filled wiht scars, almost as much as Sal. And the jewel on it's tail is bashed up pretty roughly. Something about the Ampharos says 'Stay Away'. However.. that's nothing compared to the happy and peppy looking Phanpy. She's bouncing around eagerly, looking around at different items. A Silent special colored Aron is watching over the two and making small steps while the two others in the group Chat about the Town.
As the group comes closer to the middle of the town, Idan comes out and greets them. "You must be the traveling group... "
The Phanpy speaks up for the group with a giggle and a big nod. "Yes! We'reeee the famous Team Live! We've come to celebrate and enjoy Alomolantine with the wonder Armonia! We've heard many compliments about how your town has a WONDERFUL celebration for the GLORIOUS event!" Her little snouts waves with a yell before she finally stops bouncing and stares intently at Idan.
The Luxray chuckles out and nods. He points his head over at the many stores. "We do have a great festival. This town is built around the great Holiday. It's Inamorata's favorite holiday. So of course we have to celebrate as much as we can. Come we me Team Live, Let's get you settled in so you can enjoy the event with us."
He begins walking in the direction of the Buttery Biscuit Group. The other two pokemon trail behind Phanpy... and the Ampharos is taking a very long glance at the Everstone before finally walking forward and smiling to himself.

Kamea smiled brightly when she was called a kind pokemon. If it was one thing she liked to be called, it was kind. Kind was a compliment. When the Flygon laughed and handed her the letter, the Smoochum couldn't help but look down at it. It was already opened, but she didn't take a peek into the contents herself. Instead, she just put the letter straight into her backpack for safe-keeping. Hopefully the Leafeon, who she suspected was Lastera of the Museum of Performing Arts, didn't think it was her who opened it. She would never commit something like mail fraud -- she was only a baby! "Leafeon," she repeated, bobbing her head assuredly. "Got it."
When Otto spoke to her, the baby pokemon turned her head and looked directly at him as he spoke. He was thanking her for helping them, but it was no trouble, really. It was always nice to give back to others, especially on holidays such as Alomolantine. "It's no trouble at all." Upon receiving the letter from Otto, Kamea pocketed it in her backpack, just as she had did the first one. Both of the letters would be safe in there: safe from any wind, and safe from the throngs upon throngs of pokemon down in the town. Losing these letters was not an option, not when she was given a mission as important as this. They may had been just letters, but to Kamea a mission was a mission, even if it was delivery. ”I’ll make sure he gets it right away!” Before taking her leave of the Delivery Service, the Smoochum blew two last kisses to the Flygon and Pidgeot. One for each. Giving a nod to both the Azurill and the Turtwig that had wandered their way into the Postal Service as well, Kamea then took her leave and disappeared out to go back into town.
Unlike Kamea, who seemed eager to help out with delivering letters, the Turtwig blinked at Otto slowly. He then looked from the Azurill, to Florence, to where Kamea went, and then back to Otto once more. To be perfectly honest – he wasn’t really up to delivering letters. He’d probably forget who he’d have to give it to halfway to town, anyway. Instead, the small grass type just shook his head, and gave them a quiet, ”…Nope. Gonna go back to town…” Although initially he was going to head out to the forest to relax, the sudden festivities caught his attention. Cecil wanted to know what was going on in Armonia, and the only way to do that would actually be to go back there, himself. Without another word Cecil slowly lumbered out of the Delivery Service and began his walk back into town as well.
The Smoochum wasted no time. She checked around the town as quickly as she could to try and find the pokemon she was looking for. It took her a little bit, considering the crowds of other individuals about, but finally she was able to come across Idan, the Houndoom. By this point, she was out of breath, and she hadn’t even really noticed that Team Live was talking to the Butter Biscuit Group Leader. They were really out of place, to be honest, but Kamea wasn’t focused on that. She was focused on her mission. ”Mr. Idan,” she piped up, jumping in the air a ways so she would be more noticeable, ”I have something for you!” The letter from the Delivery Service was in her hand as she jumped up in the air, and once she was back on the ground, she held it out to him. Since she had no clue what it was about, she made no mention of it. What she did say, however, was a simple, ”It’s from the Delivery Service. They told me to bring it to you.” After she gave the team leader the gist of it, she then tilted her head at the Houndoom. ”Do you know where I can find Lastera? There is something for him, too!” Once her question was asked the Smoochum paused and waited. Waiting would give her time to catch her breath, which she desperately needed. Yet as she did, she didn’t take her eyes off the Houndoom for a moment. This mission required complete focus.
While Kamea was busy trying to complete her mission, Cecil had found his way back into town. Without causing much of a ruckus, he had managed to find his way over to where Team Live had now congregated themselves. To the little Turtwig, they were just any other pokemon. They could have been members of Armonia that he had just never seen. After all – Cecil hadn’t seen a lot of pokemon. As he settled in next to the Ampharos, he couldn’t help but give the electric pokemon a dopey smile. ”Nice stone, isn’t it…” he commented, picking up on the fact that he had taken a keen interest in it. ”I like it, too!”

Narci was extremely focused that morning.
She had woken up early, of course, and decided that she needed a new combination to perform. Her moves absolutely couldn't get stale! So with that, the Misdreavus headed out to town to possibly find some ideas.
Narci was so lost in thought that she didn't even realize there were some Alomolantine events going on until she practically floated right into a group of Pokemon passing by. Was that now? She blinked and looked around. There were so many Pokemon everywhere! The small ghost type rose a bit higher in the air to get a look around...and so she didn't get run into. Phasing through others wasn't in her list of things to do today, thanks.
From her vantage point, she had a pretty good view of the events. There appeared to be a strange group being led away from the shop area, which was incredibly crowded. Narci began to drift in that direction. Maybe there would be some interesting sales today?
