Mairin wandered around the edge of the group of Stars that had come together under the young kings leadership, guided by Dinas to a special place, but she kept glancing to he horizon, it had been so long since she'd seen her elder brother, he was always hiding himself and getting lost surrounded by his work. She wished he would come out and see father once in a while as she came to see him, she sighed inwardly. He'd become such a hermit, I'll get him to come out! she decided adamantly.
But she had no Idea how, the only way he'd ever leave is if he found something intriguing that he'd want to study.
"Oh maybe he'll help me with my fire flowers?" she asked herself cheerfully Nudging the ingredients she's just finished gathering. the grinned mischievously "If I bug him enough I bet I can get him to come and help."
With her course decided she went off to find her father to tell him she was leaving for a while, she'd return in good time she was certain after all Holden's cave never went anywhere, and neither did he though she laughed a bit at the thought, she was sure she could think up a reason to bring him here even for a little while, her papa did want to meet him he just had a hard time while mom was training no one was allowed to see them which really wasn't that much fun, she wanted to share her talents with others and make them smile. She didn't like how her mother did things, but she still learned so much from her, she should stop by and see her mom too maybe on the way there.
"Papa!" she called as she saw the stallion emerging, he looked to be in a sparing match wit another of the knights, it looked like she'd have to wait her turn.

 "Papa"
He heard the little voice in the background he had been looking for his daughter earlier before his sparing match. The stallion ducked out of the other stallion's attack quickly jumping back "I think that's enough for now you've improved quite a bit." He smiled and bid the other stallion good bye.
Gawain turned and faced Mairin, with a smile. She was always optimistic despite the accident that lead to her and her brother's birth, He'd always been a bit flirtatious around pretty mares. He really hadn't meant for things to get... "Ahem" he cleared his throat. But honestly seeing his, His Daughter all grown up made him very proud. Though he still wished to see his son more often, Chena their mother had taken the boy as an apprentice... He sighed.
The mare watched as the rest of the party left, and her father came to greet her.
Mairin grinned right back as her father smiled at her then tilited her head slightly confused as he displayed other emotions. The young mare her head "Is there something in your throat Papa?" she asked instead of 'Is something wrong?' She wasn't sure she could ask that. She lowered her ears Slightly maybe she had done something?
Mainin seemingly worried all of a sudden with Gawain's Silence, Gawain Shook his head, "First You didn't do anything you are the sweetest Daughter I ever had" as though reading her mind, "and second I was looking for you earlier," he paused "I have something for you."
A grin from ear to ear appeared on the mare's face as she rushed to nuzzle her father. Oh right she had been looking for him to! The thought returned to her. Mairin bounced back from her father to a comfortable talking distance, he had something for her? The sciencey mare was instantly curious to what it was.
"Papa! I'm Going to see Holden!" she blurted happily. There wasn't much this mare had that brought her down. "I was going to get him to help me with my fire flowers!" and bring him back so you can talk to him, she added silently in her head.
