hey. i've been wanting to write something but i have no influence or good ideas confused care to give any ideas on what to write about or a overall theme of some sort??

Maybe you could try something humorous like an ode to barfing or a haiku about how ugly your ex was? Limericks are also a lot of fun. Just think of them as little brain teasers, the kind of exercises that help you think and write a little faster/ better. They're also good for Valentine's day!

Japanese light novels and manga have some unique settings. Unfortunately they kinda overdone them, but I think a western perspective on those same tropes could be pretty fresh especially for those who don't read those kind of things. I recently had an idea for a transported to another world kind of story. You could try that or maybe even flip it.
