Clyde was freshly showered, and just getting in his uniform for the mission he had today. Hopefully, if things went his way, today would be great. He was practically humming to himself a merry tune as he pulled on the gloves that completed his uniform. Today he would be trekking to the Howling Forest with the Trainee Saya. The little girl had gotten the best of his nerves at the Trainee welcome party the day before.

However, a damper was put on the thought of failing Saya out of Team Rocket. His Communicator buzzed with new information. The Grunts Genesis and Doyle would be joining him today. The text didn't say it, but it was basically to make sure he graded Saya fairly. He kicked over his desk chair in frustration. This wouldn't be a fun day after all.

The Executive sent a message to the three that would be journeying with him to the Howling Forest today. "" At least he didn't have to walk all the way to the damn forest.

Doyle had gone to bed late last night. It took forever to clean up the 'party' as he and Gen had basically goofed off and made a giant mess. They had finally cleaned it up.... after being yelled at by some passing by agent. After that they had messed around, or rather Gen had by somehow getting paper toilet seat covers to rain down on him. He still wasn't sure how she did that.

His communicator woke him up. One of the higher ups sent him a message saying that he and Genesis were to accompany Clyde and Saya on the evaluation test. He groaned as he rolled out of bed. Apparently someone had heard and taken him seriously when he volunteered to help. He slowly made his way to the bathroom to shower.

Once his shower was done he got dressed in his uniform and gathered his stuff. His communicator vibrated again and he saw a message from Clyde. "" Doyle sent back. He put his belt on and added his little pouches. He then added his pokeballs to one of his pouches leaving one hidden away in his room. Basically left a guard pokemon in his room in case Genesis tried to do anything before he got back. Then his back pack with his normal clothes was added and he was ready to go.

He quickly made his way to the garage on the second floor. He apparently was first to arrive and he rested against a wall. His Xtransceiver rang and he answered it. His screen remained blank but his sister Gormlaith could be heard. He chatted with her for a moment, basically shooting down any attempt she made to 'hang out' with him.

Genesis was woken by an incessant ringing, and she blindly searched for the source of the sound with a hand. Her eyes were still sleepily and stubbornly shut, and between her grumbling and curses, she prayed with all her might that the cause of the noise found himself trapped in a Stunky's nest before long.

When her hand finally fell onto her Communicator, she blinked herself awake slowly, eyes straining at first to catch the message with her bleary vision. Ugh. She had to oversee another Trainee. At least she wouldn't be alone this time.

She rolled out of bed and onto the floor, glad for the pile of clothes beneath to cushion her fall. Unfortunately, they were so comfortable that she was once again lulled into sleep, and it was only with the help of Erebos' cold wet nose that she was roused back to wakefulness.

Despite her slow start, she managed to get dressed just in time to receive Clyde's message, and was the second to arrive at the garage. She smiled deviously when she saw Doyle was on the phone and snuck closer to him. Then, lowering the pitch of her voice to a deep, masculine drawl, she called out, loud enough for whoever was on the phone to hear, "Come back to bed, Doyle. It's so cold without you~."

Saya was deep in slumber when the communicator she left on the floor vibrated, jolting her awake. She crouched into a child's pose under her covers and peeked over the edge of it at the communicator. The bright screen told her she had received a message. The girl fished the object off the ground and read what it said.

Second floor. That's where there was food! The mere thought of bacon got her mouth watering. She scrambled to get her normal clothes on and dashed to the second floor as fast as she could.

Saya appeared at the garage, apparently taking her time. She had actually gotten her shoes on today, as well. She had made a stop at the dining hall, grabbed all the bacon she could carry on a plate and was munching on one as she made her way over. She wasn't really sure which was it was, but remembered the text said second floor, so she walked around the entire floor until she found it.

When she saw familiar faces, she walked over. "Bacon?" She offered to Doyle, recalling that he had given her a cookie yesterday.

Clyde arrived last, having stopped for breakfast on the way, too. Unlike Saya, all his bacon was in his stomach. He glared at her plate, both wishing he had more, and in annoyance. Bringing a plate of bacon to an exam situation? He could probably dock some points for that. He turned his attention to the objects in his hands. There three clipboards, each with an official-looking document on it. One for Clyde, and one for Genesis and Doyle respectively, and much to his displeasure.

"Alright. Gen, Doyle, these clipboards are for you. You guys won't exactly be deciding her final score, but your opinions will be taken into account," He handed them the clipboards. "We'll be taking one of the jeeps to the Howling Forest. I'll drive," He spoke, and started towards one of the parked vehicles.

Doyle could only stare in outraged horror when Gen spoke up right next to him. A shrill voice could be heard from the other head of his phone shrieking about how Doyle best not keep any details out and that they wanted an explanation and was Doyle sleeping with a guy?! and just about freaking out in general. "Eliza will you wait a minute..... Okay Gormlaith I gotta go talk to you later." He then clicked off the Xtransceiver making sure that he wouldn't get anymore calls.

When Saya appeared and offered bacon he took some from her. It only served to remind him he hadn't eaten anything at all for breakfast. So he reached inside one of his pouches and got out a granola bar to help supplement his first meal of the day. "Thanks Saya." He said.

It wasn't long before Clyde showed up and he took the clipboard that was handed to him. He looked at the document on it and nodded at what Clyde said. Opinions mattered even if they didn't give the final score. Apparently this was a bit more than just him volunteering to help. Perhaps the higher ups thought that Clyde would unfairly grade Saya or give her a really hard test or something. He thought about that for a moment and basically shrugged it off. If Saya couldn't fight her way or talk her way out of a bad grade then that was her own problem.

"Sounds good to me... I call shot gun!" He said heading for the same vehicle but for the front passenger seat instead of the back. Normally he'd sit near Genesis so he could pester her but he didn't think it was a good idea to have Saya up front with Clyde, not after the welcoming party 'incident'.

Genesis snickered as Doyle hung up, and looked over her shoulder to see the others approaching. Ah, she hadn't known it was Saya they would be overseeing. Perhaps this wouldn't be such a bad day after all.

"Thank you," she said as she was given the clipboard, trying to be respectful towards the Executive. She wasn't too suspicious -- she simply considered this to be some sort of review everyone had to go through. Nothing like grading others to grade yourself, too, right?

She wanted to look presentable for this, but she hadn't had time for breakfast herself, and everything looked so appealing... She didn't want to take anything from Saya, but Doyle was fair game.

"Thanks," she repeated, although this time she was speaking to Doyle. She'd taken the granola bar he'd taken out as they headed towards the car. After taking a bite, she sighed dramatically. "Is this all you ever bring?"

Saya bit into a piece of bacon, and eyed Clyde cautiously when he arrived. He didn't speak to her, so she remained silent. It was better this way, since she wouldn't be distracted with having to think of words to say, and could focus on keeping an eye out for any sign of danger.

Saya didn't let the other girl she didn't know slip her mind, either. She quietly surveyed them both. It was going to be a difficult task, keeping track of the two of them.

The girl nearly dropped her plate of bacon when Clyde started towards one of the vehicles, with Doyle close behind. Not again. Her cheeks paled as she thought about traveling in one of those things again. She felt nauseous. They weren't even going anywhere yet. She stayed rooted to the spot.

Clyde eyed Saya back as he handed out the clipboards. After his comrades took theirs, he started for the car. The Executive swung into one of the front seats. The car was their standard mode of transportation; sleek black, with a smallish red "R" painted on the flank. Removable doors and roof made it good for all weather conditions, though it tended to get chilly. Orders for better heating parts had gone through recently. They were great for this region in general, their off-roading abilities being a useful feature. The cars had higher ground clearance and excellent suspension, necessary for creating even traction on all four wheels. Being a young contient still, Zatao didn't have a large amount of developed route roads. Plus, most places Team Rocket needed to go tended to be undeveloped areas of the region. Keys in hand, he started the vehicle. He saw Doyle was going to ride shotgun, Genesis somewhere in the back...Saya was rooted to the spot, still a little ways away from the jeep.

"C'mon kid, we're heading out. Never been in a car before?" He arched an eyebrow slightly. She definitely wasn't from a rich Rocket philanthropist family, like he was. Maybe she would chicken out and he wouldn't have to deal with this afterall, or even her ever again.

Before Doyle reached the car his granola bar was taken by Genesis. He scowled at her and then snatched it back. "Got a problem with my traveling food? Don't eat it then." He reached into another pouch and tossed a cookie at her. He had other food randomly shoved into either his bag or pouches but wasn't going to give it up so easily. He finished off his bacon and the granola bar before Gen could take it.

He hopped up into the passenger seat of the car and buckled up. He looked out the window to see Saya still back where they had started. He basically scowled as he looked at her thinking hard. Apparently she either hasn't been in a car or doesn't like riding in them. He might have offered for her to ride Archie to the meeting spot, surely she could handle flying, but didn't want to seem like he was favoring her. Plus him trying to help her out would only make things worse between her and Clyde or make Clyde angry at him. No sense in angering his superiors.

Genesis smiled back brightly at Doyle's scowl, and accepted the cookie graciously. Not exactly the best breakfast, but she'd had worse. She finished it off in a few bites as she headed towards the car, certain Clyde wouldn't appreciate crumbs in the vehicle. She looked back as she did so, only to see that Saya had frozen in place.

"What's wrong?" she asked, her pace slowing to a stop. It wasn't the car, was it? She hadn't ridden in one for a while, but you could barely tell you were moving from what she recalled. It did have a weird smell, though, she'd admit.

"N-nothing," she spoke quietly. Her mind flashed back to the other two times she had been transported long distances. During both times, she had gotten terribly carsick. She hoped this ride wasn't going to be a long one.

Saya shuffled slowly to the last remaining seat. At least she still had her bacon. The delicious aroma filled the small space of the vehicle making Gen sob as she bit into another piece.

Clyde ignored Saya's reluctance to get in the vehicle once she actually got in. If it was carsickness she was worried about, there was probably an empty bag in the pouch on the back of one of the front seats. Not that he'd help her find it, though. He wouldn't be the one cleaning the jeep then. Starting the car, he drove for the tunnel exit situated at the end of the garage-like storage area. Though it was packed with cars and other vehicles, there was a perfect lane down the middle for them to reach the exit. The end of the room was closed off by a rising door, which started it's ascent as they drove toward it. A simple and boring job for many grunts was to stay in the little booth by the door all day, letting Rockets in and out.

The jeep rose gracefully out of the tunnel into the snowy climate of the Moteore Freezeland. It's large tires handled the terrain easily. They'd be out of the snow soon enough anyway. The Grasslands weren't far, though the Howling forest was about an hour or two away from the base (excluding stops and any other incidents). They were in for a bit of a drive. The weather seemed calm, at least.

Doyle settled back into his seat. He remembered doing the gate duty when he first arrived. It was such a boring job to have. He was glad he hadn't been assigned that job again so far.

His stomach rolled a bit after they got going, hinting at a slight case of carsickness. He ignored it thinking it wouldn't be as bad as when he gets seasick. He hoped they would reach their destination quickly. He didn't want to stay in the vehicle for too long otherwise he might fall asleep.

Genesis watched with a frown as the Trainee went inside the car. Shrugging, she followed after and took an unoccupied back seat, tucking her jacket tighter as she did so to prepare for the coming cold. It was interesting being in a car again: you could see the land passing swiftly out the window, yet feel nothing. Genesis didn't even have to make any effort to stay on -- it was as if they were merely sitting in a room. The windows and the low hum were the only signs that showed the car was in motion, but they were too faint. Before long, Genesis found herself falling into a light doze.
