Name: Felix S. Lowenthal Age: 27 Gender: Male Position: Knight Leader Roleplay Example: Felix sat across from his most trusted generals, each one having equal faith in their leader. His eyes were closed as he ran over the countless possibilities of the next move in his head. It was like a game of chess, and Felix was determined not to lose. Although he commanded from the farthest reaches of the battle, his armor was shined until it seemed as if Felix glew, and although his skills lied within commanding armies, he had also brought his own weapon so his generals saw him as a warrior, not a coward who wished to hide behind them. As the leader, he had already proven himself able and willing to kill those who did not fall in to his plans, and although he was ruthless in his leadership, his charismatic presence inspired loyalty wherever he chose to tread. There was nothing he feared, and that calm demeanor allowed for him to think under the stress he was enduring...the stress of trying to bring everybody back to their loved ones alive, all while slaughtering every unnatural being they came across.
"What do you think, Sir?" The sound snapped him out of his focus, and his cold emerald green eyes rested upon the man who spoke. "You believe your men to be in a constantly traversed position, correct? I assume fortifying the area will not protect you, not from a dragon." Felix examined the map before him, and as expected, there was no real way to move without arousing suspicions, nor would remaining in the same area do the forces any good, as they were sandwiched between both the territories of demons and dragons. It was a difficult call to make, but Felix believed he had a perfect plan for the marching forces. "I want all your men to scatter themselves around the area...look here. These are hills, and holding the high ground will assist in the destruction of half the enemy forces by what I've observed, but standing so high will not be enough to deal with dragons." Felix thought for a moment...what else did they have besides countless hills? Nothing, that's what, the area was filled with plains and forests, and neither one of those was useful. Felix was determined to make due with what they had, despite the obvious flaws in the tactic.
Felix continued off of what he previously stated. "Instead, we'll use the crevices in the hills to our advantage. The high ground is useless when your enemy is invisible. All the while, we'll maintain our height advantage over the third force." Felix could sense the overall feeling from the room, they lacked confidence in his ability to lead. When he saw their downcast looks, he stood up and raised his voice so all of them would hear him speak. "All of you, look at me! I can tell you're concerned about the effects this plan will have on the flow of battle if one were to break out, but I assure you, your men will live! As long as we control this set of hills, we set the pace with the dragons, as long as we control the high ground, demons will not climb high enough to stop us! The only thing holding us back and keeping your men in danger is your cowardice, not your humanity! We WILL survive should battle break out! Am I understood?" There it was, Felix's ability to lead was backed by his commanding presence, and charismatic aura. He inspired the loyalty of those around him, and as he did, he went back to speaking of battle.
"While that was...inspirational, milord, I must remind you this battle is fought on multiple fronts!" A voice cried from the end of the table. Felix blankly stared at the man, and leaned back in to his seat. "You must believe I've forgotten to supply our troops, but you'd be wrong. As per the usual, I contracted assistance weeks earlier, and all troops will be fully armored by this time tomorrow. You may be seated." Felix's reply was swift, and like a sword wound, it did as much damage as it held finesse. Felix was no fool, he had already planned to supply his troops, and it didn't require any personal sacrifice on his part either. A fool was a man who did not supply his troops, a general was a man who supplied his troops, but a leader was a man who supplied his trrops with his enemy's supplies. His resources grew, while his enemy's were drained, but there was still much to do. His war upon the unnatural would be long fought, but the young leader would prove himself...not even gods would stand in the way of his knights!
