User ImageWatching the boarder of his wood that vile black had become more active again from her age of silence, she had slipped into his wood with such ill intent to scar or maim his guest, he had let his guard down in her silence, it would not happen again, he frequented the edge of his wood the black would always come from, the side with her swamp. While marshes and swamps filtered water, when a black lived there it became a nest for all sorts of evil.

He wouldn't have it that evil corrupting his forest, the balance here was perfect, the forest thrived. Everything was as it should be as he had been tasked to maintain the magnificence of this forest and protect it like his well hidden hoard.

A humming bird buzzed by his ear whispering of a stranger approaching from the swamp. It was a very strange stranger, the bird had never seen another like it in this area, but as it continued to speak to Gildenfire the bird made less sense.

A walking plant?

The dragon wondered it knew of many creatures that could very well be a dryad, but why would such a fair creature come from the swamp had the black stolen the dryad from her tree? The dragon looked to the sky and opening his wings took off to the edge of his wood he would at least greet the lost creature, provided there was no evil withing their heart...

Far ahead of her a white stag ran through Gildenfire's wood.

Neva emerged from the dark swamp, it was not unlike the swamp the heket lived in, it was pleasant to see the fireflies above the marshes at the edge, though further in it felt like a sickness was growing, she dare not go to far in she'd rather not stumble upon some Risen hive when she can't use her elemental magiks, it would make her a sitting duck, though she had her staff it would only last her so long, she'd easily be over run. She would have to come back here and cleanse this marsh of whatever evil lay at it's heart.

Which is why when she emerged it felt as though a weight had lifted, that dark feeling melted away into awe as she saw the forest before her, it was like a dream, like home. She'd almost expected the mother tree at it's center. Carefree, she picked up speed and ran into the woods, pausing only to hear the voices of the trees and other plants. They were so happy, she could hear them, though she knew this was not her grove it was a masterpiece of nature just the same.

It was nice to be surrounded by nature so filled with life, as much as she now longed for the comforts of the grove.

But she had her wyldhunt to complete, and couldn't return until it was complete, once done she would find her true place in the world.

The Gold watched her for a time less and less thinking she meant to do his wood harm, she indeed seemed like some sort of dryad creature a gentle forest spirit, though they could be mischievous at times most never meant any harm unless in the protection of their tree.

Gildenfire landed heavily in front blocking the mare's path, he was large, heavy and all muscle and very intimidating, though he didn't mean to scare her, she seemed innocent enough. She seemed lost in awe as she marveled at his woods. She had no taint of evil despite traveling though the blacks swamp. His golden scales shimmered in the light as he folded his massive wings against his side, his being fan like it was always a trick but he did so elegantly for such a large creature.

"I apologize for startling you, if I did I am Gildenfire, the gold." he gave the mare a bow. "you are a very peculiar dryad, if I might ask where is your tree?" Most couldn't venture far from their trees, so her being away from such a thing was strange even her color was odd, it must be a very unique tree that shared her bond.

She did indeed jump when a deep voice addressed her causing her to whirl around quite stunned what was a creature like him doing here of all places was? this causing her to worry, though her brow raised in confusion, a dryad? What was this thing he spoke of? Dragons were dangerous they wanted to destroy her home the mother tree all of them Except Glint, she tried to help, only to end up slain. But the rest of the elder dragons were dangerous. Perhaps he was like Glint? She still had to step carefully, he seemed polite and she seemed Naive.

Her wyld hunt temporarily forgotten the mare wasn't sure of the danger she was in. Neva smiled greeting him in return "How do you do, I'm Neva," she smiled innocently "I come from a land far from here, I'm not quite sure what a dryad is but I'm sylvari." she began to explain "We all come from the mother tree." she was certain he didn't mean the same tree. Perhaps these dryads he spoke of were similar?

"This is a beautiful wood very healthy." the mare commented to the dragon admiring the lush growth and strong trees. She could sense many of the animals that existed here.

Ah but she had forgotten, "Are you an elder dragon?" she asked.
