Abilities:
When his abilities are being used, Kino's tattoos glow a deep, dark red.
To cover the scope of his capabilities, Kino has the power to manipulate a crimson colored, raw form of his own mako that is channeled through these tattoos. The mako has good destructive power, but its range beyond Kino's arm is only about 4-15 ft, depending on the concentration of energy and its spread. Longer ranged attacks are usually immense and require a very large amount of his stamina. Because of the destructive power, Kino gives the impression of super strength in that left arm as he is able to crush objects in his grasp and throw punches impressive force. In addition to the mako emanating from his markings, Kino shows an affinity only for dark magic which he can only manipulate using his unmarked right hand, which means he must choose between the dark magic and a weapon.
When used in tandem with Reap, the sword is surrounded in a crimson aura and is able to release shockwaves of the energy.
