Personality: Ella comes across as enthusiastic about everyone and everything. Very sociable, she likes to make new friends if she can, though she hasn't quite learned that not everyone will be so eager to make her acquiantance and takes snubs at her friendly overtures to heart, and will likely not speak to that person again, believing them not worth her time anymore.
Ella will attempt to strike up conversation first, but will find great enjoyment and get on the most with anyone winged or birdlike. Even if you are neither, she could happily talk about her collections with anyone who has a similar sort of hobby. She also enjoys what she calls writing, she scribbles in a notebook using one of her own feathers as a quill, though they are mostly made-up, quite nonsensical stories, so if you are of a literary mind, she'll try and get you to read said nonsense.
If she succeeds in becoming your friend though, you'll find her loyal and liking nothing more than to spend time with you. Outings, clubs, homework, school lessons or even just aimless hanging out - these are all chances to chat with and be in her friends company.
She is a great hoarder of things that catch the light, and can be a little light fingered to get them, though she'll try her hardest not to steal from a friend. Shiny things include but are not limited to; candy wrappers, mirrors, glass, or polished glass bits, gems, glitter or anything glitter-adjacent. Tinsel is her absolute favourite and it adorns her room all year round.
She will rarely wear the shiny items she collects, she worries about losing them and prefers to safely hoard them in her 'nest'.
She has a singular vanity about herself, she thinks her nose is her greatest attribute and wishes it were bigger and more beak like (like her ancestors). She will fly into a terrible temper with anyone who disagrees or makes fun of her nose, and even attempt to claw at them.
She will also become cross with anyone who attempts to tweak her nose, even if they are only teasing.
Although she can be a loyal friend, she does as mentioned get easily distracted, and can therefore be unreliable. If you ask her for a favour, and in the middle of said favour or on the way to do it she spies something for her collection she will forget all about what she was meant to be doing. Getting into a conversation with someone else has the same effect.
She can become clingy, and that can lead her to being a nuisance ie: she doesn't take hints and leaves when asked, or will turn up un-invited to dorm rooms
Ella is also ignorant/unaware that she is clingy, distractable and unreliable. If these traits are actually pointed out to her, she will be confused, apologetic intially but then lapse into her usual ways.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Basically she's there to learn some focus, her obsession with shiny, glittery things means she is easily distracted.
She also lacks any sort of leadership skills, being happy to always follow the leader.
She also lacks awareness of her deficiencies and will need some hard learned lessons to work those out
