Lily was finally back in DCU. It had been a long time coming, so much had happened since she'd had to drop all her classes in her first semester. She was determined that this time she would not allow anything to get in the way of her schooling, not even her night life. Once the war was over she would have a life to live and that would require a good education. This time however she decided to focus on music and not be a double major. She of course kept her ballet class, but she decided to leave all the sciences of veterinary science until she finished her music major.
Currently she sat in the music room, fingers on the keys poised to start practicing, mostly just to get back into the groove of things. She already knew what she wanted to play and after of moment of refocusing her attention she started to play and sing loosing herself in the music and not realizing she'd left the door to the music room open enough to look in not paying attention when she went to shut it.
The music floated out of the room, the words to Rob Stevens 'Little Wonders' filling the hallway, and causing students who passed by to briefly look into the room.

Trevor was walking out of the DCU gymnasium after deciding to practice some of his soccer skills indoors and then changing into a new set of clothes, or at least what skill could be practiced indoors. He had wrapped his sweat towel around his neck so if he needed to wipe it off it would be close to his grasp. He shifted and hiked up his gym back higher onto his shoulder. He wondered what else to do today, he could practice track and field but then again he wouldn't know what the weather was like outdoors. So he would save it for another time. He shook his head, at himself he needed to bring more changes of clothes if he was going to do his during his years at DCU. He pulled out his water bottle and took a gulp of it before replacing it back in his bag, as he walked down the halls, he heard a familiar sing song voice. The only person he knew who had that lovely of a singing voice was Lily, there was someone he hadn't seen in awhile. He thought for a moment before walking down the hallway and into the music room quietly, sneaking up behind his friend and covering her eyes with his hands "guess who?" he asked her.

Lily jumped slightly at the hand that covered her eyes, fighting the urge to fight the person off. She stopped playing as she couldn't see and stopped singing as well, her hands going to to remove the hands that covered her eyes.
"I don't know," she said softly, pulling the hands away, "I will have to take a look."
She turned, to see Trevor standing behind her and smiled brightly. She hadn't seen or talked to the boy in forever, but her senshi life sort of had that effect, most of her friends now were senshi like her or people she had know her whole life.
"Wow, I haven't see you in forever," she spouted excitedly her grin still in place. She slid over on the bench and patted the seat beside her motioning him to sit and started with questions before the boy even got the chance to move.
"How have you been? It's been too long really. What brings you to the music department and did you get your scholarship?"
It was really the last thing that they had talked about and probably why Lily still remembered, but she did have an extremely efficient memory.

Trevor chuckles lightly "sorry, didn't mean to startle you" he told her before sliding into the spot she freed up for him on the piano bench. He set down his bag on the floor near the bench and ran a hand through his hair briefly. Last he saw her, she had longer hair and it was mostly down but she now has a new hairstyle and he couldn't recognize her from behind but the singing struck a bell in his memory. He nodded his head "yes it has been a quite awhile since we last saw and talked to each other" he put in politely. He blew out a breath he was glad to see her again and be able to catch up with her after all these years, she seemed the same but in some instance she seemed different. He chuckled once again "whoa! slow down Lil' " he told her with a smile before answering her questions "I've been good, and yes it has been too long. As for what brings me to the music room, well I was just leaving the school gymnasium and walking down the hall when I heard a familiar singing voice, since you did leave the music door open" he told her gesturing to the open music room door. "as for whether or not I got my scholarship, if I didn't I wouldn't be here now would I? " he told her gesturing around the DCU music room, when really he was gesturing at the entire school.

"It's okay," she said softly. It really wasn't his fault she startled, her nerves weren't the best right now, she probably should have spent more time sleeping and resolved to do so that week.
She giggled at his telling her to slow down, she could get rather excited when she hadn't seen a friend in a long time. While she'd changed a lot, shorter hair, being taller, older, her excitableness was something that hadn't changed at all.
Lily flushed slightly at the mention of leaving the door open, "oh," she said looking at the door, "whoops. I didn't mean to leave it open. I didn't even know. I thought I closed it, but I was rushing so I guess it didn't close all the way."
"I guess I shouldn't rush so much, but it's great about your scholarship though. You must be really good. When you have a game you have to let me know. I can come and cheer you on. It would be really fun to watch you play."

Trevor lightly placed a hand on her shoulder "everything alright? Lil' you seem a lot more edgy and jumpy" he told her tilting his head to the side, when they first met Lily wasn't too jumpy but now that they have met up after awhile she was a lot more edgy. In some instances, she had changed but in others not much and he could understand as friends got older there were two options, to keep in contact or just grow further apart. He tapped his chin lightly with a finger as far as he knew, Lily was the only friend he had met up with again after a long time. Like the saying goes 'some friends are for a lifetimes, others are for a season'. He would assume Lily was one of those friends who were considered a lifetime friend. He lightly smiled to himself before lightly placing his hands on her shoulders "lil' calm down..you need to stop rushing, I can't understand half of what you said" he told her, her words seemed rushed and he wasn't sure why. He was hoping he wasn't keeping her from something important, if he was then he would feel bad. "yes, i would like it if you didn't rush so much. I haven't seen you in awhile" he told her frowning slightly, "well..i'm only really in soccer and track & field" he told her before blowing our a light breath " I'll keep that in mind" he said with a light nod.

Lily frowned not liking that she came off as jumpy and on edge, she was; she couldn't help it and her lack of getting a good eight hours of sleep wasn't helping. "Uh it nothing . I'm just fine, probably really just need to get more sleep at night, but I'm just so busy. I spent six months in England and I'm still adjusting to life back here."
She smiled and took a breath releasing it to calm her nerves a bit. His hands placed lightly on her shoulder helped a bit, making her think of her best friend, Alex, and how they always found it so easy to calm each other. "Sorry about that," she said, much more normally in her happy sing songy voice. "I get a little two excited when I haven't seen someone is a very long time. I really can't help it sometimes."
She smiled, blue green eyes a lite, "don't worry I'm usually much calmer and don't really rush to much. Today is just one of those days. It's really good to see you and I'm really glad you got your scholarship. Since we are both a DCU, that means we'll get to see each other more often. It's no fun having a friend you never see right?"
She grinned for a second, but frowned when her stomach growled lightly. She gave a small laugh, "looks like I'm a little hungry. Maybe we could finish catching up over a late lunch?"

Trevor also frowning "sorry..if that came off as hurtful, that was not my intention" he said with a light smile. He tilted his head to the side "well..whatever it is,I'm sure you'll tell me when you need help with it" he told her. He tilted his head to the side again "why were you in England, if you don't mind me asking you" he told her. He shook his head "its no problem" he told her with a small smile, he felt he was keeping her from something important, but she didn't seem to mind. He stretched before chuckling lightly "That is one thing that hasn't change about you, lil' but I'm not saying I dislike it" he told her nodding his head. He nodded his head "that is very understandable, everyone has those days I have them too sometimes, but not as often as others do" he said thinking about it. But, he shrugged it off before nodding his head once again "indeed we will be" he told her with a smile. He pondered over it for a second before answering her question " I think that sounds like a good idea, I haven't had lunch either to be honest" he admitted sheepishly. He got too caught up in practicing that he forgot to get a break and have lunch.

Lily shook her head, "Its okay. Don't worry about it. It takes a lot to hurt my feelings. Really I've got a friend who can be a buttface sometimes, but he means well." She gave a small chuckle, then tried to keep from frowning at the question of England.
She gave somewhat forced smile, "my dad got a promotion and it involved moving to England, so we went on vacation then we all stayed for a while as a show of support."
Her words were only have true, but she couldn't tell Trevor about being a senshi and her parents finding out and them using the promotion to essentially kidnap their own daughter. It was just two much. It wasn't even safe for her to tell him something like that.
Her grin came back when he agreed they would be seeing each other more often and we he understood about her rushed day, but when he agreed to the late lunch, she slowly put away her music sheets in her bag and gather her coat. "There are a few good places on campus and a few nice places close by. Have any idea what you'd like to eat?"
She headed for the open door pushing it open and waiting a moment to make sure Trevor was following.

Trevor glanced at her "if you're certain, well if anything is bothering you, I'm all ears" he told her before picking up his bag. He closed the piano cover before standing up and stretching a bit and stood upright to his full height. "I suppose, that works in some way" he said unsure if that made any sense. He shook his head at himself before smiling lightly at her. He nodded his head "ah..I see.." he told her. "It must have been nice there I presume, its a change in scenery from Destiny City" he put in politely. He tapped his chin lightly before answering her question "to be honest, i'm not sure where to go nor do I have a place in mind. I don't eat out for lunch as much as a typical college student. Its just a waste of money at some restaurants anyway." he explained. He followed her towards the music room door and paused before stepping to the side a bit "after you" he told her with a light gesture. He wasn't entirely sure where to go for lunch, he hadn't actually taken time to explore the places to eat on campus.

As she walked she she nodded, "Yes it was quite beautiful and we we're there for the Olympics which was a lot of fun. I bet you would have loved it. We saw so many of the events. I went to the London Zoo too and bought so many souvenirs. I think bought more stuff for other people than myself." She had to admit, even if it had been a bad situation, it wasn't all bad.
Lily wasn't really shocked at his saying he didn't eat out much, she just shook her head. "I can understand that, one of my roommates always cooks and makes lunches and stuff for me and Alex, so I really don't eat out as much as most, but I did more the first semester I was here. I really like the wrap places toward the middle of campus."
She headed there leading the way, she hadn't been there this semester, but she still remembered the way. She realized her day was a bit more rushed that she had thought, realizing she'd forgotten her lunch. She hadn't even thought about to until just then, but she left it at home on the counter.
When the place came into view, she pointed, "It's just in that building. They got a nice little lounge to eat in too."

Trevor listened to her tell him her adventures in England "sounds like you had a blast there, but didn't you miss Destiny City while you were there?" he asked her politely. He was the type to not travel around as much, travelling just didn't interest him. He was more of a sports loving guy, then a traveler. Then again each person at their own, likes, dislikes and interests. He smiled to himself "I try to cook myself, but usually it fails. so I need to find a roommate who does, he was currently the only one residing in his dorm room on campus and it did get lonely at times, but there were also times where he enjoyed the quiet. It gave him time to do his homework and relax afterwards, without the fear that someone might destroy it. He glanced over in the direction she was pointing it at studied the building for a few seconds "looks..quaint" he put in, or at least that's what he could tell from the outside, but he would wait to find out what it looks like inside "I've never actually tried this place, since coming to DCU" he told her.

"I did have fun, but yes I missed Destiny City a lot. I missed my best friend so much, eventually even though my parents didn't really want me to, I came back. England's just not my home, sure my parents have a house there, but its just not the same. I miss them, but I want to be here."
She gave a small giggle at the cooking statement. "I was the same way, but Johnny has taught me a bunch of things. I can show you if you like. I can makes a bunch of different pasta's now and I'm pretty good a breakfast. I'm still learning though, both Alex and Johnny cook better than I do." That's what happened when you had a cook all your life, you never had a reason to learn.
She walked up the counter of the and ordered a chicken cesar wrap before turning back to Trevor. "It is quaint and I like it."
"So," she said while waiting for her wrap,"What have you been up to? I mean I haven't seen you and forever. We can't just talk about me. Come on, other than the scholarship, what's up in your life? Surely you must have much to tell."

Trevor walked up to the counter and ordered a chicken Caesar wrap as well, he paid the cashier and stood the side before speaking up " I haven't actually traveled anywhere, mainly because I'm still adjusting to living in Destiny City, but I would like to go to Hawaii" he told her before nodding his head. "though I could use the help, mainly because I'm the only one residing in my dorm room on campus" he told her "I would actually prefer to cook my own meals rather then buy them" he told her, with all the time he spends playing soccer and participating in track meets he never actually had time to eat healthy and some times eat nothing. He thought for a moment before answering her questions "to be honest, Nothing much. Just school and sports mostly" he told her. "Nothing really is new with me in my life, right now my life is fairly focused on sports and my academic life" he said "though I am thinking about getting a dog so I have a companion for my active lifestyle I have out of school" he told her nodding his head.

Lily nodded, "Hawaii sounds very nice. I've never been there before, but I would like to go. It won't happy any time soon as I've barely a month back from Paris. Alex wanted to go for the holiday, so he, Johnny and I spent Christmas there. Definitely no so warm as Hawaii would be."
"Well then I will definitely help you. Just remind me to give you my phone number," she said as she took her food that was now ready and waited for Trevor to get his. "Cooking your owns meals is really the best way to go money wise. With three people in the house, it would get rather costly for us to eat out all the time, so I can imagine how you feel."
She pointed out a table to eat at and lead the way over, "You know what they say about all work in no play. You should try to get out more. You know go the movies, the park. Remember when we flew that kite. That was a lot of fun."
She sat putting her things down, "a dog sound like a great idea. There a lots of breeds that are great for active lifestyles. Collies, Shepards, Retrievers, Terriers, even some Spaniels. Oh and also Dalmations, they are pretty energetic dogs. I use to volunteer, for years, at one of the shelters in town. You should check some of them out, but don't forget to check the campus' pet policy."
