Not really much to discuss. I fail to see what the problem was. Everyone knew this ending would come so why is such a problem?

I'm not being snarky, I genuinely don't see what everyone is so upset about.

The entire point of the game was the ability to shape your universe with your different choices. Bioware literally promised this on several occasions... Then when it comes down to it, the ONLY real difference in endings is which color screws up the universe? :/

THANK YOU. The point of Bioware games was to meld with the universe you're in. Mass Effect 3's ending was an insult to the Shepard I made and became over the years.

MassEffect3 was a total derpfest anyway. I enjoyed the first one but the second one was meh, and the third was just trying to milk the cash cow.

AU crossover, okay. >.<

I'm not too familiar with the Deus Ex story though.
This story seems interesting though.

If you're interested in opinions:
Maybe a bit more background for those of us unfamiliar with what you're writing about.
It was a little off putting to me that you threw all of these big characters together so soon, but I guess that's what a fanfic is for. I'm a little canon-minded myself, so this is probably just me.
Cuddly Wrex seems a little odd without an explanation. xD Even though we start to see this through the games, we don't know his background in the AU, so maybe a little bit of background on Wrex would be nice.

I am a little biased towards more canon interpretations of things, and of course, having my own idea of Shepard, but it seems pretty good to me. Definitely makes me want to keep reading.

I had started writing an alternate ending, myself, starting at about the three colored paths to the same ending and going in a different direction... My main copy got deleted, but I think I have a copy... Makes me want to start on that again...
