"GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!" Shouted Seth as he bounded into the kitchen. He slid against the floor tiles, narrowly avoiding the cabinets, and leaped up onto the counter top. With his black tail swaying happily he hurried to make a start on breakfast. It was something he thoroughly enjoyed, mostly because he had total control over whatever he put into the waffles he made, and nothing could put a damper on his mood while he was whipping up his favorite food.
While he stirred the batter, Kaiel padded into the kitchen and climbed up onto the table in the corner of the room. Though he was groggy, he wore his usual warm smile on his fuzzy features. A soft yawn escaped his mouth as he moved to set the table for the others. "It's sunny today!" He exclaimed, pulling the napkins into place with his teeth. "Maybe we could go to the beach! Would it be warm enough to go swimming?"
"No, Kaiel..." Seth sighed, eyeing his mixture. "There's still snow on the ground! Do you want to freeze to death?"
"No..." Kaiel replied, disheartened. "I wish the snow would just go away..."
"You and me both, Kai." Piped Shayden as he waltzed into the room. He hopped up onto the table and gave Kaiel a quick nuzzle on the head before leaping over to where Seth now stood pouring his batter into bowls. The pair exchanged a few nuzzles and a peck or two before Shayden turned to help Kaiel with the table. "Do you need me to fetch the plates for you?" He asked.
"Yes, please!" Kaiel replied, still busy adjusting the napkins. "These stupid napkins keep bunching up!"
"DAMN THOSE NAPKINS!" Seth screamed, flailing dramatically. "THEY'RE PLOTTING AGAINST YOU! BURN THEM AAAAALLL!" He wiggled his wooden mixing spoon around in the air, splattering batter all over the walls. "Aaaaagh! I got mix on the waaaaalls!"
"Think before you act and that won't happen any more!" Shouted Shayden, carrying a pile of paper plates in his mouth. He set each one down, counting each place mat as he went along, and smiled triumphantly to himself. "Well, that's done! When do we eat?"
"SOOOOON!" Seth exclaimed, closing the lid on the waffle maker. "Kaiel, go get your brother! He'll miss the WAFFFFLLLLEEEESSS!"
Kaiel scampered down the hall and into a room at the end of the hall. He poked his nose around the clothing, garbage and other items strewn upon the floor before meeting a fluffy black tail in the corner of the room. "Seb! Seb!" He chimed, nosing the sleeping male on the neck. "It's waffle time! Why're you still sleeping, silly?"
"Bwaaah, huuu-aah?" Sebastian mumbled as he rose out from the "debris" he had been nesting upon so comfortably. His eyes were slightly red and a little puffy, but they rested calmly upon Kaiel's smiling features. "Neeh, morning... Eh...?" He said, rubbing an eye. "Hmkay... I'm coming..." He stood, grimacing as his back cracked in response, and padded out of his bedroom.
The brothers entered the kitchen just as Seth had placed the final waffle on the table. Shayden smiled as they all sat down, but arched his eyebrow towards the corner of the table. "Why did I put three extra places out today...?" He mumbled. "There's only four of us, not seven..."
"OOOOOOO, maybe you're possessed!" Seth exclaimed, promptly shoving a wad of waffle into his mouth. "Orrp, mayffe yer OCFD"
"I am NOT!" Shayden whined. "And don't be ridiculous! There is no such thing as being "possessed." I don't know why I put them there, but it doesn't call for such a dramatic idea!" He waltzed over to the plates and began to fold the napkins up. "I'll just put these away. We won't be needing them..."

Kami clutched a small napkin with an address and a number scribbled on a corner. She couldn't remember asking for it, but then again, the alcohol only allowed her to recall parts of that one wild evening. Her cheeks flushed just thinking about it. She usually avoided people and tried not to be a bother, but this was too important to hide from. "Alright, loves. You ready to go?" Even though she couldn't understand the chimes and calls that came from the bowls, she still talked to them as if she could. "Okay, we're heading out now." Kaito clacked his chopsticks, "I've always been ready!" He wriggled excitedly next to his little sister. For the past few days, his mom had been fretting about what she should say to their father, or even if they should even go. But whenever she seemed like giving up, he would nuzzle her and tell her everything would be okay. It was obvious she never knew exactly what he said, but she would stroke his side and her voice sounded more confident when she started thinking out loud. Kami gathered up the two bowls and headed out. It was a beautiful day outside, perfect for walking. Being an eco-nut, she hated cars, but luckily the streets were mostly empty, which helped to ease her nerves. "You'll like your daddy," she told them happily, "he's a kind loving person. I just know he'll love you both very much." They finally came onto Sebastian's street and Kami walked slowly and glanced frequently between the piece of napkin and the addresses to make sure she got the right house. Kaito's excitement made him shake and rattle like crazy. The closer they got to his dad, the more he wanted to jump out of his bowl, bounce off all the walls, and hug his dad. When they reached the doorstep, Kami set them both down, mainly to avoid dropping Kaito with all his wriggling about. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" He chimed impatiently. He could hear sounds coming from inside the house. Shouts could be heard clearly, but Kami was too nervous to notice. Taking a deep breath, Kaito heard his mom ring the bell. Then, the three of them waited.

Kitteridge wasn't as hyperactive as her elder brother, but as the doorbell was pushed, her chopsticks began to rattle and chime. She couldn't believe that they were going to meet their daddy! Her chimes were as unintelligible to Kaito as they were to her mother, but she hoped that she was getting her point across.
"Whazzat?!" Seth squeaked, jumping up from his chair like a kangaroo. He lunged towards the kitchen door, only to collide with Kaiel who had leaped forward to do the very same thing. "Graaaa! Kaiel! Damn it!"
"Sorry, sorry, sorry!" Kaiel cried, flailing. "It's the door! Someone's at the door!"
Seth blinked, pausing. They had a visitor? This never happened! Red eyes lit up with fear and he began to shake. "AAAAAAAH!" He screamed, running around in a frenzy. "UNPREPARED! UNPREPAAAARRREEED!"
Sebastian, who had barely noticed the doorbell ring, rose slowly from his chair and wandered into the hallway. He observed Seth's freak out briefly before padding in front of him, rolling his eyes. He huffed at Kaiel, who had followed Seth's lead and begun to panic, and gave Shayden a look of doubt as the elder noodle resorted to hiding under the dining room table. "Jeeez, it's the god damn door bell, not a frigging bomb..." He muttered, waltzing calmly up to the door. He gave a final glance to his family and shook his head before opening the door.
"Good morning!" He greeted, smiling. "How are 'ya, neighbor?"

Kami jumped as she heard screaming inside the house. Terrified she'd somehow misread the napkin, she scooped up the two bowls and turned to leave when the door opened. "Sebastian!" She grinned with relief and flushed as more memories of that night returned. "Um...I..." The statement she'd spent days preparing was lost and all she could do was clutch tightly to the wriggling chiming bowls and blurt, "These are your children!"
This was it! This was the moment he'd been waiting for! "Mom, put me down! I wanna go inside! Something smells amazing!" Kaito chattered on not noticing how tense his mother had become.
Kami shifted the bowls to get a better grip and watched his reaction carefully. If he turned her and their children away, she would have to go back to her twin and tell him everything and hope that he would be more willing to help raise the two little ones. "This is Kaito," she adjusted her grip on the loud active male bowl and then carefully offered him the little female. "I thought you might like to name her..."

"Kami!" Sebastian exclaimed, gleaming. He was very happy to see her, even if he looked a little groggy. The night they had spent together was foggy, but still memorable for the young male, and he had hoped he would see her pretty face again... Or at least what he recalled of it. Red eyes fell upon the bowls she was carrying just as she blurted out the news, and his heart began to race with excitement. "Are you serious?!" He cried, squealing. "I'm a dad?! I'm a daaaad?!" His tail twitched about as he was handed the bowl, promptly nuzzling it. "Kaito, eh?" He said, his expression shifting to a pondering look. "Well..." He paused, gazing down at his daughter. "You are dubbed Kitteridge! Because... You... Will... Be a kit soon!" He snuggled the bowl close and motioned Kami inside. "Come in! Come in! My family will be over the moon when they meet you guys!"
"Daddy's snuggles feel warm!" Chimed Kitteridge as she snuggled up against Sebastian's chest. She tilted a little towards Kaito and wiggled her chopsticks at him. "I got the first hug from daddy! Haaaa haaa!"
As they made their way back into the hallway, Seth had assumed a very paranoid position in the middle of the room while Kaiel sat perplexed beside him. Shayden's tail could be seen flickering out from beneath the table cloth in the next room, to which Sebastian gave another eye roll. He set Kitteridge on the floor and nudged Seth, who promptly fell over and flailed as if in distress. "Oh, daaad..." He groaned. "Not while we have company..."
"NEEEEEEH!" Seth whined, swatting playfully at Sebastian. He hopped to his feet and shook himself like a wet dog before facing Seb, not seeming to notice Kami or the bowls just yet. "Why must I behave? It is not law, yes? Company is for the birds."
"But, they aren't birds..." Kaiel piped. He smiled at Kami and poked his nose at Kaito and then at Kitteridge. "They're a dragon lady and two pretty bowls!" He paused, observing both Kami and Sebastian before turning his face back to the bowls. "They kinda look like Sebbers! Are they more brothers and sisters?"
Shayden whipped out from underneath the table and peered wide eyed at Kaito and Kitteridge. Without a sound, he nudged Seth on the shoulder, obviously shaken. "Iway inkthay esethay owlsbay ightmay ebay ourway andchildrengray, Ethsay" He muttered.
"Whaaaat?" Seth asked, blinking.
"Iway inkthay esethay owlsbay ightmay ebay ourway andchildrengray!" Shayden repeated, slightly louder.
"I have no idea what you're saying, Shayden!" Seth cried, slinking backwards. "I think you have a demon inside of you..."
"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!" Growled Shayden. "YOU CANNOT BE POSSESSED! GAAAAAAAAAH!" He took a deep breath and turned to Sebastian and Kami, sighing. "These bowls are beautiful! Where did they come from?"
("I think these bowls might be our grandchildren, Seth")

Kami grinned and relaxed as Sebastian took their daughter and named her Kitterigde. Even though his reasoning seemed strange to her, she was still happy. She followed him into the house unaware of what she was walking into.
"No fair! That's cheating! Mom handed you to him!" Kaito clanged and rapped his chopsticks hard against his bowl. "Moooooooooom!!! He wriggled and fought to get to his daddy, but Kami just hushed him and set him on the ground.
Kami looked around, the place was warm and looked as though a tornado had swept through while someone was trying to make breakfast. She couldn't see anyone at first, then noticed the two men and one tail under the table. She was about to intoduce herself when Seb's parents started taking to one another and staring. She jumped as they began arguing, "Oh! They're Sebastian's and mine, sir." She bowed her head politely, "I am Kami by the way. The children are Kaito and Kitteridge. I guess that makes you their...andparentsgray?"

Shayden's eyes widened sharply and his mouth just about hit the floor. He looked to Sebastian, who became flustered, glanced at the bowls and ultimately whirled around to stare at Seth. "We're... We're..." He stuttered, sweating. "G-grandparents..."
Seth echoed Shayden's expression, but pushed past his lover, and made a bee-line to Kami and Sebastian. He wrapped both noodles in a tight, giddy hug and whipped down to the floor to nuzzle the bowls. "I AM GRANDPAAAAA!" He cried, tears welling up in his eyes. "BEST LIFE ACHIEVEMENT EVEEEERRRR!" He hopped up from the floor again and latched onto Shayden, tugging the pretty much paralyzed noodle to his side. "LOOK! LOOK! BABIES! BAAAABIIIIIEEEESSSS!"
While Seth celebrated and Shayden...Well... Processed... Kaiel let out a squeal of joy and tackled Sebastian. "That's what you were doing when you told me not to tell anyone where you were going that night with the beer and the cowboy hat and the book about adult things that I don't yet understand!" He squeed, leaping off of his younger brother to give a friendly nuzzle to Kami. "Welcome, Kami! I hope you'll stay a while! My sisters live far away and don't visit much, so it'll be nice to see a girl around here!" He chuckled and picked Kitteridge up off the ground. "I'm going to be the BEST UNCLE EVER!" He paused, seemingly distracted by a sudden thought. "...I hope you guys don't have to get stuck as babies for years like I had to..."
Sebastian, who had gone through his "strict" father's "frozen" reaction, his crazy father's death grip and his older brother's spastic tackling, rose to his feet and began to laugh. Though he wasn't sure if Shayden would respond exactly the way he had hoped he would, at least he knew that two out of three residents were thrilled with the news. After Kitteridge had been scooped up by Kaiel, he noticed that Kaito seemed to be trying to wiggle his way over to him, so he scooped him up and cuddled him close as he had done with Kit. "Calm down, Kaito!" He chuckled, nuzzling his son. "Daddy has all the snuggles for everyone. You can has them, too."
Kitteridge let out a ring of glee as she was scooped up by her uncle. "Yeeeeee! I don't know who you are but you're really fuzzy and I like you!" She chimed, clapping her chopsticks together. "This place is fuuuuuunnnn!"

Kami jumped as one of Seb's fathers crushed them together in one of the tightest, warmest hugs she'd ever received. She stumbled back gasping for air and grinning a bit foolishly. She wasn't used to this much excitement and physical contact, but for some reason, it didn't bother her. She hugged Kaiel back, "Of course I'll stay. I'd love to meet your sisters!" She smiled as she watched Kaito and Kitteridge finally receiving all the love and attention they deserved.
Kaito nuzzled his grandpa and chimed loudly, "You're my grandpa!!" As soon as he was released, he started making his way towards his dad. He gave a happy chime when he was picked up and clacked his chopsticks against his bowl. "I can't calm down! I'm too happy!" He cuddled against his dad's chest, "I love snuggles!"
