I saw it on the Official website and it gave me a chill for some reason it just didnt seem right. How the hell does a band have cds called Lateralus and Opiate go to 10,000 days? any way is it fake or real? smile Crew edit: Please use this thread for discussion about the new tool album. Thanks

It seems the post was re-added to the main site. I'm thinking it's a fake name for now, but I don't see them sending fake stuff to be printed in large quanities. I'll believe it when I see it

ooo hehe this makes me giddy!! lol
10,000 days does sound a bit off...but if that IS the name...then im sure they will provide ample reasoning.
and by the end of the year we will all be like "10,000 days, BRILLIANT! they've done it again!" lol or well, i hope thats how it plays out anyway.

The artwork for the upcoming Tool album is going to the separators/printers today, therefore it will eventually be leaked out that the name of the album is (drum roll.......) ' 10,000 days '
... so there it is.

Well so much for all the conspiracy theories. A reliable source confirms that the title is "10,000 Days." There it is! (Those of you complaining that it "doesn't sound like a Tool title" might want to refer back to other mathematically-themed names such as "Forty-Six & 2", "4 Degrees", "Parabola", etc.) It is sounding more and more like the album will be out at the start of May. wink

I think it's another clever bullshit trick by Tool.
Like somebody said, I'll believe it when I see it.

10,000 days is roughly twenty-eight years. The relevance of that? I've no clue. I was browsing Ultimate Guitar for some Derek & the Dominos information when I noticed [UG] had a link concerning Tool's album name. It could be complete bull, but I got a kick out of the article: Click.I agree with what SW said, though. Something Wicked I still think it'd be more amusing if it was just called "Tool."

I read the whole thing too... somebody said it was called, indeed, 10.000 Days, that they confirmed it at toolarmy.com. I'd check that up, but I'm lazy and I have to do some stuff for school...
Maybe I'm starting to not care about the title either, I just wanna get the freakin album and freakin listen to it >_< whatever its name is... pirate I-crave-TOOL

If all the stuff they said is true it will be a beautiful angry sweet awsome cd.

What's in a name? It can be titled "Cherries and Rosebuds are Really Red." I don't care. Tool is Tool. I think it's kind of silly to always expect something with many at least five syllables and have it sound like "Hyperbolic Abrosic Enthusia." Isn't 10,000 Days just as good as any of their song titles like . . . H? Eh, like I said. Doesn't really matter.
