Hikari sighed heavily swaying the child in her arms as best she could, all while unsure if the child even needed comfort. She concluded that it was in her best mental health to assume that the passenger really indeed need the comfort even though It had stopped it's crying long ago. Or had it been only a few minutes.

"Names... Names? where, What, are their names?" The teen fumbled with the ticket between her fingers in hopes of acheiving some sort of information, yet to no avail. She glanced back at her long and seemingly lost friend, Chao for some sort of explanation.

The red head in her arms merely mimmicked his new found guardian, twisting on his perch to peer over Hikari's shoulder. Upon seeing Chao's passenger he managed a somewhat youthful looking smirk. Not cocky, nor forboding in any way. He gave a curt wave before being jostled about in his 'holder's' grasp

"Hi!" Sie shouted currently too caught in the moment to not be fazed by the knowledge of his name. Waving cheerfully he ended up turning around in Hikari's grasp so that he could face the other boy. Green and blue eyes squinted in concentration in trying to recall knowing this boy. Nothing in his memory of the other child in Chao's arms came to mind. Stranger then.
" What's your name?" He asked, hands falling on his mother's shoulder revealing scars along the tops of his hands.

Hikari glanced over to Chao with a worried look, biting on her lower lip. The guardian's eyes flashed at the sight of the scars on her new son's hand, only adding to her worry.

"Chao, shall we go somewhere, and talk this over or something," She said, even thought it was she that reminded the other girl that strange things happen in Gaia all the time. Yet she couldn't help but feel shaken by the current events.

Sie nodded nonchalantly, dusty red hair flopping about as he did so. He thought to himself though after rolling the name on his tongue a bit, Chechire was too long was it not?

"Okay, Chesh!" He exclaimed happily, yet facial expressions faltered as he heard the nick name fall out of his mouth. Bad, Sie. He said Cheshire, not 'Chesh'. He gave a sheepish look to the other boy.

"M'sorry," He said very quietly.

Hikari gave Chao a very drained look before taking a few steps toward the stairway in which they had entered through. As luck would have it...The power went out, and not even after her third stride. Damn that Gaian karma.

"Where are the lights?!" She shouted, unable to restrain her frustration any longer.

A beam of light cut through the darkness, flashing at the two teens, and resting on them as a shadowed figure approached.

The figure made a sound that sounded like a cross between a scuff and a scowl somehow turned into a sound, "You two tresspassers! What are you doing down here?"

Cheshire pouted a bit when his question was not answered and blinked blearly into the light. "Peregrin?" he ventured, sheilding his eyes with his hands and attempting to peer at the shadowed figure.

Oh great, they had a squatter of some sort.

Chao scowled, giving Cheshire a curious look before shifting him to one arm and sliding her hand to where her gun rested. "Tresspassers? I think not... er, sir," it sounded like a man anyway, "we're the owners of this pla-"

The lights over head flashed back on and Chao blinked, blinded slightly by the sudden change in lighting.

"-this place. Yes, we own it. So who are you?" she squinted at the man to better make out his appearence.

Sie glanced back to Chesh. He wriggled in Hikari's grip, motioning to be put down. He scowled when Hikari did not take the hint. He crossed his arms and leered to the side of the Teen's head. This was not going well.

Hikari ignored her 'captive's' struggle, eyes set on this man named Peregrin. Feeling somewhat confronted, the teen sheilded her new bundle of cocky and glaring joy before speaking her mind...

"Excuse me, good sir. But we purchased this...Junction at an auction house not too long ago," She stated boldly, "Might I add, that even if it was an accident, we still payed our gold and intend to keep it,"
Intend to keep it? What was she thinking? She shook her head as the words fumbled out. What had Sirus always told her? 5 second rule for speaking?

An eyebrow quirked at Peregrin's added inquiry. Odd that he would know such a thing, even though the train had made quite a bit of noise.
"Yes, they did..." She muttered rather confused, "Why do you ask?" Hikari added as an after thought.

Sie couldn't stand being ignored any longer. His scowl formed into a hybrid of pout and leer. He began to kick about lightly and wriggle his arms.
"Lemme go!" He shouted angerly, though not loud enough to echo upon the cavernous walls. "please." He added in an deafeated tone, an after thought at best, but one that eventually led to him finding hard floor beneath his feet. He padded over to Chao and looked up at Chesh then to the man before the group.

"You kno'im?" He questioned softly, as if his presence wasn't known already to Peregrin.

"I suppose that straightens a few things out then..." Peregrin murmured to himself, pocketing watch and book.

"Well then, I hope you enjoy owning this fine establishment," he replied dryly, "though I suppose I should warn you that any attempts you make at getting the Junction itself up and running will be fruitless endevors." He did a sort of half-bow, "best of luck getting this place cleaned up, it's absolutely filfy. Good day." Turning he began to walk back towards the large booth from where he'd apparently came.
