Appearance: She is normally in Dark to Navy colored not too baggy blue jeans. Her shoes are standard tennis shoes with a greenish stripes on them. She always wears her black belt as a belt for her pants. They aren't baggy enough to require a belt, however she wears it to show her strength.
For her top she wears a white t-shirt with a shadow figure of a wolf's head. The wolf's head is for power. For her hair, it's a natural brown cut short enough to be put into a very small ponytail. It's this short so her hair doesn't get in her way while training. She has bright green eyes.
Mutation Type: Natural
Powers: Her first power is her regeneration. She can heal herself of anything minor in seconds. Anything major will take her a few days, but she can for most part recover. She can also mend her own broken bones, however, if healed incorrectly, they'll need to be re broken to heal correctly.
Her second power isn't as powerful as you would normally think when hearing the word strength. Her powers aren't that well balanced with each other, Jennifer can't pick up a car, but she can pick up a grown man. Her regeneration is a lot more powerful then her strength. However, she must be careful on how much she uses on her strength before it becomes obvious.
Weakness: Jennifer is no means invincible. If she is shot, she can die. If she is hit hard enough and internal bleeding occurs, she will be hospitalized. She can heal her internal organs, however it usually takes time and also helps with doctors working on her too. She also can not bring herself back from the dead due to her regeneration.
Her next big weakness is all mental. She hates being put down, that drives herself to usually overwork herself. She also hates being called out on the fact that she can not read or write. She doesn't have a big temper, but usually a punch will fly. Which if put in a rough place, she does have the ability to kill a person. Her strength usually places a part, normally when she doesn't mean too.
Personality: Jennifer is actually a quiet person. She tries not to act out, and is very reserved. She is the type that will usually try to talk out a problem before violence happens. She loves to train herself in the martial arts she has learned. She also knows various weapons that she used to train herself in.
She doesn't really like to make friends. She is a bit anti social. And also prefers to be outside to train. Her normal way of thinking is train, eat, sleep. And now with school, it's train, school, eat, and sleep. She does have a little ego when it comes to fighting and training, knowing she's had years of training and practice. She can however, control her strength, so if she does ever punch someone to just prove a point, she won't harm the person, much.
Background: When Jennifer was born, her mother died giving birth. Being raised by her father she knew she was different. Her father saw how strong his little was, however, thought nothing of it at first. When she was four and learning to ride a bike, she fell and cut her knee. Her father running to her aid witnessed her heal herself. After that he knew her strength was not nothing either.
By the age of five he already had her enrolled in martial arts training classes. Thinking school was getting in her way of training, he decided to home school Jennifer. His version of home school was her physical training, thus the books were never opened. She continued this way of life till she was thirteen.
Jennifer's father at the age of thirteen was going crazy with the aspect of power that his only daughter had. Finally having a breaking point and testing out his daughters skills on himself, she left him mangled but still alive. Not knowing how to help her father, she left the house after neighbors called the police. Picked up by Institute and all charges cleared on Jennifer. Her father recovered and is now in a mental institution.

Appearance: Berna is very light skinned for being a once desert child. She always tries to hide most of her hair under a cap, that she always wears backwards. The cap is blue. Her hair is always in a ponytail, it's very long, goes down to her lower back. She has a very young face about her, very innocent looking. She loves a shirt that she usually wears, it's a blue shirt with pink rims along the bottom of the shirt and sleeves.
The lower half of her has pants that are baggy. They are a light blue with a lighting bolt going down each of the sides in black. She wears pink converse shoes. She is very small for age. She is skinny, due to lack of proper nutrition. If she is mad or depressed, she sometimes makes red lighting dance around her body, but that's only when mad or depressed.

Powers: She can manipulate lightning, thus only being able for now to do three things.
Lighting Shock: This power she can shoot lighting from arms. The range is short. Her lighting is blue in color.
Lighting Ball summon: With this one, she can create a ball of lighting that follows her around, almost like a pet. She does have a name for it, Kitty. It can shoot off lighting where ever it is, unless, around rubber.
Body of Lighting: The move is a purely defensive move, that is only to be done in an emergency. She turns her whole body into lighting, as it looks like a body with no outline, just lighting. In this form she can not talk at all, and she usually either passes out after that move, or gets very grained of energy. This power she can not control at all, it only lasts for about two minutes, and is connected to her emotions solely. She can't control going into that state and her body takes her out of that state naturally.
Weakness: Her main weakness is lighting storms, if she was to use one of her powers in a storm and another lighting bolt hit, she can kill herself. The power of two lighting bolts combined would be enormous power, way too much for a person to handle. Much less a child to handle as well.
Anything that can spark, mostly like gasoline or anything that can catch on fire easy. Berna can blow herself up if she lets out a lighting bolt around something at only needs heat to blow up. That can be a danger to herself and other people. Her at most weakness next to being shot is her emotions, if she gets too mad, scarred, or depressed, her emotions can go haywire and she will not be able to control herself. Granted she is not that quick to get into any of those moods, but when she is in the, she can be a danger to herself and to others.
Personality: Berna is fun, loving, caring, and kind. However, she has very big self esteem issues. She at times can have a mouth, however, it's only when she feels threatened. She loves to help people, she will never ask if you need help, but if you ask her, she'll more then likely say yes. She wants to prove to people that she can help and she doesn't need a babysitter.
Her favorite sport to play is soccer. She will always try to get things done fast so she can play soccer, whether it is a game or just passing the ball around, it's her favorite sport. She also can be a little mean with Kitty and other people, and use Kitty to give little shocks to people in fun. She likes having lots of friends, that's what makes her really happy.
Background: Before her powers were activated she had a hard life, her parents were abusive both mentally and physically. She has had to do a lot on her own. Her father is a drunk, and always made Berna get his beers or mix his drinks for him. She knows almost every type of mixed drink in the book. Berna lives in El Paso, she was a normal kid, until a strong storm came in. She was playing outside when for some reason, she began to climb a tree. As lighting started to strike, she realized she had to get down. As she was climbing down, the lighting struck the tree and Berna was thrown to the ground.
After waking up, still next to the fallen tree, that's when she noticed she started to shoot out lighting. She was 11 when her powers were activated. Her parents hated the fact that she can do things that they couldn't. And the fact of the all the mutant stuff happening, they saw their daughter more as a burden then anything else. Even though she had this power, life continued the same as it always had. Until one day Berna couldn't take it and lighting started coming out of her arms almost striking her mom and dad.
Berna was kicked out of her house,and her father called child services. With them on her tail she headed north and east. She hitch hiked all the way, taking her about two weeks to get to New York. She wound up in Central Park, child services losing her trail as well. She fought to survive in Central Park, using her lighting to help her get food and money. Sleeping in benches and under trees. After hearing about the Academy for gifted youngsters, she went to go and check it out. And made it into the program after a little demonstration of her powers after she sneezed really hard and her lighting came out due to force from her fingers.
