Appearance:
Lettie has a short messy mop of black hair, not quite reaching her shoulders. It is thick and frizzy, and difficult to manage, and she has long since given up on trying to do so. She is very short, and small in nature, due to frequent childhood illnesses that stunted her growth, and also has very pale skin for the same reason. Her eyes are a bright green, and she has a pleasant, kind smile.

Though she is rather physically weak, all that time in bed as a younster, she spent reading and learning, and is a very intelligent young woman. Without meaning to, she tends to be disdainful or rude to 'simple folk', and tends to talk over them with a higher level of vocabulary without realizing she does so.
Along with this, she is very sarcastic, and tends to come off as rude to most people, though in reality, she's a fairly friendly, kind young woman. Unfortunately her somewhat abrasive attitude drives many would-be friends away.
She is incredibly dedicated to her post as a Wher Handler, and though she is proud of Lettisk, she never lets up on him, and constantly pushes him to be the best wher possible.


History:
Lettie was born and raised in Tillek hold, to a Master Weaver of a mother, and who knows who for a father. She was not a healthy child, coming within inches of death a multitude of times from various illnesses. Because of the amount of time she spent bedridden, she had very little opportunity to be around other children her age, and to play like a normal child should. Somehow, her mother managed to make ends meet, even with constantly having to pay the Healers for visits and various herbal concoctions. As she grew into her teenage years, her health began to slightly improve, but it was also apparent that she lacked in social skills, and how to act properly around her peers. She became withdrawn, and somewhat depressed, feeling awkward.
At 15, the Masterhealer that handled most of her medical care invited her to the hatching of a wher clutch, thinking that giving her a purpose might improve her health, and her depression. The healer himself paid for the egg, though he told Lettie and her mother that there was no sort of charge, and interested candidates were all welcome to stand.
Lettie was doubtful, and didn't really seem all that interested, especially once the amount of unhatched eggs had dwindled down to two.
The last egg to crack was a handsome blue, who wandered around as if lost for a few moments (the remaining bit of egg shell on his face probably didn't help his sense of direction), then wobbled over to Lettie, and licked her on the face.
