Atlantis - Atlantis used to be a city belonging to the high elves, but has since been taken over by the Ursa. Two thirds of the city is submerged, but there are plenty of above floors as Atlantis was built more like a collection of towers than houses. The Ursa live on the upper floors, where it's dry. There are plenty of floating gardens filled with fruits, despite the surface being a cruel, snowy world where nothing grows. There's no visible changes of the season down there. Atlantis is currently protected by a thick layer of ice, and the only way to get there is by creating holes, as it's all under water.

Nobody quite knows what's happening on the lowers floors, as they're almost unreachable, but it's a well known fact that most the city's secrets are down there. The high elves that remain from the day Atlantis was flooded, only have a small record of what may be down there, and they're not willing to share.

The area above Atlantis is an open wasteland of snow, snow, snow and the occasional rock. The Ursa sometimes keeps tents up there while waiting on trades, or when they expect a stranger to visit.

Ursa - Better known as bear people, the Ursa are rather large creatures that look almost identical to regular bears. What separates Ursa from normal teddies are their flat faces, more human like hands, shorter claws, long neck-hair, lack of tail and the fact that they more faster on two legs than four. That, and the fact they they sometimes wear armor or clothing gives them away. Full of fur, they're accustomed to cold temperatures and harsh weather. Their language, Ursa (which simply means "we" or "us", referring to the people), is rather complicated due to their irregular rules regarding grammar. Despite what people say, Ursa don't grunt or growl. Ursa does in fact sound more like singing, and it's hard to tell if they're talking or they're spontaneously whipping up a song, unless you're familiar with the language.

Traditionally Ursa wear different kinds of earrings to show off what family they belong to. Mates wear identical earrings, plus their family's. Fur colors are normally black, and brown, with some white or beige markings, but all white is becoming more and more regular among the younger generation, probably as a result of the climate.

The Ursa focus a lot of family and their values. People outside of their community are usually of no interest, unless they can gain something off them. They're very suspicious of strangers, and befriending an Ursa is very difficult because of their stubborn nature and unwillingness to compromise. That said, it's highly unlikely you'll be mauled down by an Ursa. While they're terrifying creatures, Ursa don't like violence and prefer to walk away from a fight when faced by one. Annoying an Ursa is almost impossible, because they simply choose to ignore you. You don't see an Ursa lose their tempter, unless you harm their family members. They show no mercy once you've crossed that fine line.

The current relationship between Atlantis and the outside world - While a lot of Ursa encourage trade and communication between them and the outside world, the leaders of the Ursa are still very much against bringing outsiders into Atlantis. People are still trying to break into Atlantis, and as long as they try to take what belongs to the Ursa, the holes in the ice shall remain guarded.
